    Great way to tour Bruges
Our tour guide Anne was amazing. She was so friendly and also very patient. We learned so much about Bruges and have many things to follow up and see again. Overall the best way to see the city!

    Fun way to explore Bruges
A caveat first -- Bruges is crowded! It's not easy to bike in the city center given the number of tourists. If you decide on a bike tour, have patience during the city center portion because once outside the main area, it's just wonderful to see the old city walls, windmills, an alms house and areas where locals live. The guide Anna was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. She was awfully nice to a family whose child was valiantly keeping up.

    Lovely Tour
Great tour. Good way to see hidden parts of Bruges. Would have never found the secret garden. Took us to a local chocolate shop for a free sample. Went back later & bought chocolate to take home.

    Amazing Bruges bike experience
Incredible bike tour to experience the magnificent scenery in Bruges while learning about its fascinating history and culture from the wisdom of a local expert. Our guide Wim was extremely knowledgeable, hospitable, and kind!

See More of the city on a Bike in Bruges
This bike tour led us to see beautiful sights of the old and the new in Bruges. Our guide Ann was informative and gave clear instructions. The visit to the old church from the 1100’s was so interesting. The bikes were very basic but had several gears and the terrain is quite flat, if not a bit bumpy over the cobblestone streets. The four of us are 60+ and managed very well. There were others in the group of all ages. One downside is that If you are choosing this tour from a cruise ship at the port, you should know that it’s a 30 min 55 euro taxi ride to get to the market square where the tour originates. Or there is a free city bus that gets you to within a 20 min walk. This should be mentioned in the description.

    Bad experience
Horse-Drawn carriage’s drivers treat tourists like trash. They do not even give the information, they tell you to read the advertisement….it is writen in dutch! . Specially young ladies drivers, they are the meanest! So if you decide to get a ride, look for an older driver!!

    Great bike tour!
Ann is a very knowledgeable guide who is a third generation Brugge resident. She took us on bikes to many of the famous sites as well as lesser known areas. We biked through some beautiful residential areas on paths that are quiet and serene. The rental bikes are very comfortable and easy to ride. Thank you Ann for showing us your hometown. We highly recommend this tour!

    Amazing tour
Amazing tour! Both of our guides were so well informed about the city and clearly loved Bruges, and we had an amazing time! The ride itself was nice and easygoing, and we got a great overview of the important sites in the city. Would definitely do this again, given the chance!

    Amazing Experience!
Ann loves her home city! This passion was apparent in each story she shared with the group about her beautiful city of Brugge. The tour was well organized, informative, and took us into the less busy areas of the city. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour!

    Great cycle tour
Very interesting tour. Saw and learned interesting facts about Bruges. Just the right time at each stop.very minor criticism- Maybe too much emphasis on the housing where the poor / refugees stayed.

Good opportunity to get a flavor of Bruges if on a quick visit. Guide was informative, with a good mix of knowledge on Bruges history and current popular spots.

Relaxing, enlightening and fun bike tour
Our guide, Rita, is a local and very informed about Belgian and European history. We thoroughly enjoyed the background on historical sites and what it is today. There was no question she could not answer. The ride was comfortable and safe. We started at 10:00 am before the crowds formed around noon. It was perfect timing and a great overview of the history and sights of Bruges. I 100% recommend this tour for anyone looking to see and learn about Bruges while cruising around on a bike.

Good if you have extra time, not if you only have a day.
Pros: This guide knows some special places to show and is comfortable taking bikes there. Cons: this guide doesn’t stop at some of the most scenic places (bikes right on by), and yet spends too much time in places that are not interesting (outside of the charming old Bruges walls). She should pace her talking better and move on after a couple of minutes. I was worried from the start when she started talking about tiny details and showing pictures from a binder. We had such short amount of time there and it was not a good use of time. If you have more than one day, then you do not need to worry about the pacing and will likely enjoy it.

    This is the right tour.
I was worried that there was not enough to see in Bruges to warrant a 2 hour tour. I was wrong. The tour was packed with great sights that avoided most crowds and kept us interested. Well done!

    Highly Recommend
This was a fantastic trip and our guide was so lovely. Other participants were late so we were taken on a walking tour for 20mins before the bike tour started. This was thoughtful and brilliant. Anne was incredibly knowledgable and the pace of the tour was perfect! Highly recommend.

I went on this tour with my girlfriend and we absolutely loved it! While riding along all these beautiful spots in Bruges, I was surprised by how few of them I already knew. Since we've been in Bruges many times, we thought we had seen it, but this tour convinced us to try and come here more often.
We also loved how the guide has her own uplifting and amusing way of telling all these little stories and facts about this city.

Brigitte our guide was very friendly and attentive to the questions asked. I recommend it to you.
A clear explanation of certain monuments in the city; advice on good places to visit or eat...
So many beautiful things to see that the 2.5 hour visit passes very quickly and leaves us wanting more.
A boat trip that is not very interesting in terms of explanations but which will delight children.
Perhaps a little expensive for the service but interesting all the same.

Great relaxed walk around the old City together with a canal boat tour. Our guide Patrick was really knowledgeable on the history of Bruges and was able to answer a lot of questions that the group had. We really enjoyed the tour! It was great going at 10am when the city was just waking up and there were not so many people out and about yet.

Manuel, our guide was great. He give us very good information and answered all our questions. The group was small, so it was very manageable for our guide and more enjoyable for the people in our group. The boat ride was a little crowed but the captain made the trip very fun and interesting as well.

15€/person for 35 mm. it's too expensive! piling on a canoe, you see what you see of the banks on foot because the banks are very close to the water level. no interest. it is better to rent bikes (€10 for 4 hours) and travel around the city center

I am not someone who loves tours but I loved our tour with Patrick. He was so knowledgeable and made it interesting for those who aren’t history buffs (like my husband, who booked the trip). We had already been in Bruges for two days but he took us to sites we hadn’t seen - due to us not wanting to go as they were purely religious sites which we find repetitive and boring - but he made me realise how naive I was for not planning to go there in such a medieval city. It’s not about the religion but the history. Patrick was amazing and Bruges is just breathtaking, especially by boat. I would say that we booked a smaller group tour (<16) and assumed the boat would be the same but unfortunately we were crammed with other groups, which wasn’t clear upon booking . We would have much rather done a private boat tour had we known. Also, we may not have read the fine print but we didn’t go into the main sites, just stayed outside, but that’s probably on us not the tour

Ann was very knowledgeable and friendly. She was able to answer all of our questions from night life to the architecture in nearby buildings. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bruges and would suggest doing it the first day to gain an understanding of the city.

We booked the guided city tour with a boat tour in German with City Tour Belgium. It was a great experience. Our city guide Tina led our group of eight with a lot of commitment, empathy, humor and, above all, a great deal of knowledge about the history, culture and special features of the city. The icing on the cake of the tour was the small tasting of Belgian chocolates at one of the "real" and traditional chocolatiers in the city. Successful and highly recommended.

Fabienne is a very friendly woman who takes her guests into account. She is also a professional with a lot of knowledge about beautiful Bruges. She conveys her enthusiasm about her hometown with verve and is contagious. She can convey history vividly. It even made us forget about the drizzly weather! Well worth it, book with Fabienne!! Thanks again from 4 Dutch happy “guests”!

My overall review of tour is fantastic. Mostly because of the guide that we had, Jacques Hofs, gentleman with great knowledge, telling many fascinating facts about Bruges, who knows how to bring your interest. It's worth to go on a boat cruise as you can see city from different perspectives, finding out more history about it. The culmination of the entire trip is a visit to a local chocolate shop, best chocolates I've ever tasted, couldn't resist and bought a box.
