    Captivating History of Bruges
Martin was an outstanding guide! Engaging stories, comfortable banter with all participants (in multiple languages), very well versed and passionate about the history of Bruges! A comment from our 14 year old the next morning: "If only history classes were delivered in such an interesting way!" Highly recommended!

A brilliant tour of Bruges by day and night!
Fantastic tour experience. I booked onto the Dark Side of Bruges Tour, where we had Hilda as our guide. She was very welcoming and was great throughout the Tour, she captivated the crowd, and definitely knew the city of Bruges. After the tour, Hilda had inspired me to take the other tours in Antwerp and Brussels. The next day I did the historical walking tour of Bruges, where we had Sander as our guide, who was brilliant at answering all of my questions, and was a very engaging tour guide, sander was also very humorous with the jokes and stories which he told along the route. All in all, both tour guides were amazing and I loved both of the tours in Bruges.

    Engaging Antwerp tour
Luc D was really enthusiastic and a pleasure to listen to. We all learnt a lot about the history of antwerp. He also provided a bucket list of suggestions of other things worthwhile seeing in the city. Would highly recommend the tour.

    Highly recommend Legends!
We had a great tour with Astrid(the Dark Side of Bruges). We were a large group but she made it feel more like we were friends out for a tour together. We got to learn more about Bruges and see a different part of the city. We also did the day tour with Legends with Hilde in the morning. Hilde was amazing as well, giving us an educational yet entertaining walk through Brugge. Legends says that doing both walking tours is a great way to experience Bruges and we agree. Both tours gave us different information and we saw different parts of the city with different parts of the history. Overall, both were superb walking tours with a stellar company (they have an app, discount codes, and more for walking tour guests!). Would highly, highly recommend both the Historical walking day tour and the Dark Side of Bruge evening tour to anyone visiting Brugge! Thanks again Hilde and Astrid!

    Would recommend this gastronomic tour!
Very fun and interesting way to spend 90 minutes in the heart of Bruges. Natalie was great! Samples of fries, waffles, chocolate, jellies and beer. Gave us plenty of inspiration for the rest of our trip.

    Fun and yummy experience!
Natalie is a great tour guide, and it was a wonderful way to experience a taste of Belgian food and beer in Bruges while also getting to see the city centre. Came to Bruges as a stop on a cruise, and this was definitely the highlight of our visit! Thank you!

Easy superficial tour of local food
Good guide very interesting not as gastronomic as I thought it would be, very limited, thought it would be more seeing things being made and making more of the local restaurant scene. Adults tour I would suggest very easy pace and lasted approx 1.5hrs covered, Chips, Chocolate, waffles, beer. No recommendations of places to eat good bad or indifferent.

    Evening medieval tour very interesting
Hilde our guide certainly was very informative and enthusiastic and very happy to share her knowledge with visitors. We certainly would not have visited this area if we hadn’t joined the tour. It lasted approx 2 hrs and was a very flat walk and easy pace, suitable for all age groups. Covered interesting of medieval commerce and trade together with religious and social history. Highly recommend.

I visited Legends of Bruges and Bruges in the evening in one day. Both tours were guided by Nicolas and it was amazing. The lively manner in which he told us about funny and dramatic events of the city and impact they had on the world captured my attention and I even almost didn't care about the rain. What I really liked is that he loves his city and being a guide
It was my first time to take a free walking tour and was worth visiting as it coveref the main spots of interst (or more local things during the evening tour) and I started to understand what Bruges is, how and why does it look now. Really a good start to explore the city as each tour doesn't take a lot of time and there's plenty left to feel the city atmosphere on your own but in a more conscious way.

Martin, our guide, was genuine, entertaining, and knowledgeable about the history and the city. There were only a few of us (post-lockdown tour), and we went through the best parts of town in a two-hour tour. I think that the Legends of Bruges walking tour is a great overview / prelude to a deeper exploration of this beautiful city. This one is worth going back to.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Bruges walking tour hosted by Debby who is local born and bred. She told lots of entertaining stories and introduced us to many interesting places in Bruges. It was a great way to start our long weekend. Debby was a tremendously engaging, lively and inclusive guide as well as being very knowledgeable and multilingual. We received great tips on where to get delicious, authentic Bruges treats which we can vouch for as we tried them all.
I would recommend Legends of Bruges tour without hesitation and you’ll be extra lucky if you get Debby!

We did the English walking tour with Bea and had a great time. It was a long walk (2 h!) but captivating the whole way! Bea really went into great detail, giving us many insights into the history of Bruges that we otherwise wouldn't have found out about. What wasn't always clear to me though are which stories were historically accurate and which are mere legends 🤔, but maybe that was just me 😁. Either way - going on a guided waking tour is bound to make your visit to Bruges more memorable, and we highly recommend you ask for Bea to be your guide. 🥇

We could experience a great tour and got a great insight into the history of Bruges, not only through big pillars, but also throught littler (fun) facts.
Also Liesbeth could entertain us for 2h without getting the feeling of a long or exhausting tour.
The free chocolate helped of course!

Superb! A great way to get your bearings and learn a lot of history in one go. Our tour guide was a real enthusiast for his city and had lots of great anecdotes to bring the tour to life. 100% recommend (fyi bring comfy shoes as the cobbled streets are beautiful, but hard on the feet after 2 hours walking).

Our free tour in Bruges was perfect. Louis showed us a lot of the important buildings of the city and gave us a great insight into their history. His stories were seasoned with humour and he was very charming.
Would definitely recommend taking the tour in order to fully arrive in Bruges.

Our guide was Natalie who was fantastic, unbelievably knowledgable about the history of Bruges. Her effervescent manner was charming and although I am hard of hearing her clear voice meant I heard every word. She also recommended a fantastic local beer to us which was so good I’ve just ordered a case in the UK.

The Legend of Brugge walking tour was absolutely amazing. Our tour guide Martin was lovely! He was funny and friendly and told us great facts about the city but would also have personal conversations with us while walking between places. The historical facts about the town were amazing, it really brought meaning to places in town and made it feel all the more special. Our tour guide also gave us recommendations for places to eat, which we followed and they were fantastic, he really knows his stuff. This is a great tour to get to know the city and area, learn the history, but also get some useful tips for getting around. Couldn’t recommend it more!
