The VR experience covers a millenium of history in 8 minutes. Enjoyable, but far too brief. Unfortunately a loud group of kids were seated behind us, and they succeeded in drowning out most of the audio.

Very pleasant surprise. The story experience was absolutely awesome. Plus the beer terrace with the wide selection of beers is something I did appreciate a lot.

Unfortunately, there is no option to give zero stars. This was a total waste of money. You stand in 7 rooms and watch a silly movie. We decided not to waste our time in Bruges on this activity and kept moving quickly through the rooms by hitting the red buttons next to the doors to escape this boring attraction. This turned it more into a bit of a haunted house experience because the rooms were dark with the added scary fox and whorehouse experience thrown in for good measure. One of the rooms smelled like urine. We weren’t sure if that was supposed to be part of the experience since we stopped following the audio on the headphones. Either way, it was disgusting. Don’t go!

This is a great experience and a good way to get a first feel for the history of Brugge. It provides a nice immersive historical experience of the town which is a great reference for exploring the beautiful city later. Only thing to be improved is that when we first entered the sound was out of sync which caused some confusion but once we managed to get back in sync it was great!

Unfortunately, this was a disappointment. Self guided audio tour takes you through a few rooms with props and tv screens displaying a short movie. Perhaps it was a cool display 30 years ago, but not today, I cannot recommend.

A good experience that atmospherically illustrated life in Bruges during its height. The VR was especially good, despite being slightly out of focus for my eyes. I have docked a star because of the ridiculous situation in the toilets. Why are the baby changing facilities only in the female toilets? I hate this as a father. It is sexist towards women because it dictates that they do the changing, and it is sexist towards fathers because it invalidates their ability to parent. It is disgraceful that such a prominent tourist attraction should act this way. It is thinking from the 1950s.

Just missed the mark a little bit in all areas. The VR was fairly basic and the story telling part just seemed to drag on. The best part was the tower with views over Bruges. If it was pouring with rain maybe an ok way to spend a couple of hours.

What an innovative and uniqie experience. The VR tour and story telling was simply amazing. The views from the tower were fantastic. Highly recommend visiting here.

I was pleasantly surprised at this museum. We did the three experience package that included 8 minutes of virtual reality, a walk through the museum, and a climb to the top of the Belfry Tower. We could have skipped out on the virtual reality but still been great. The museum walk through told the story at that time of the making of the Madonna and Child painting by Jan van Eyck. They recreated the smells of the time and you walk through seven rooms as if you were standing right there! The climb to the top of the belfry was okay. There is no real platform so you have to be relatively skinny to get the 360 degree view. This is a must for a first time visitor to Bruges.

Visited Duvelorium and needed the toilet Was advised the disabled toilet was downstairs so took the lift Was met with an angry member of staff on leaving the toilet telling me the disabled toilet is for staff only. Asked where the disabled toilet was for paying customers and was told I had to use the “normal ones” - appalling and discriminatory!

The lockers they offer are too small, even the XL is a joke. And also is expensive. In the XL it only fits one cabin suitcase! And they offer then to leave your heavy bags and enjoy Brugges. Such a bad joke as I wrote.

We expected more! It is something more for families with Kids. The best was the VR Part, but it was too short. If you do not have the time for one of the superb museums it might be a nice illustration.

My family had a terrific time walking through this very clever interactive tour. A few places were a little dark, but my phone flashlight came to the rescue. Keep in mind there are some steps to go up. We skipped the VR headsets, although that looked like fun. The tour ends on a balcony overlooking square. Great views.

The storyline is very weak and not convincing. It’s a soapy love story in medieval times having Bruges in the background. There is nothing about how people lived and worked. The whole experience is far away from the description on their website.
