- J5978NMjuanv00Amazing Waffles !great class ! good beers and ambiance and made amazing waffles, all delicious. recommend for everyone !
- Wim B00Excellent tour - our gide was friendly knowledgeable and professionalMy mother and I had a blast following our guide trough the different parts of the historic city. He certainly knew what he was talking about and very accepting to answer any additional questions we had. Highly recommend.
- Talia L00Great tour!Small group, very knowledgeable guide, compelling stories! It was a great way to learn and discover more about the city of Bruges !
- Abonham1200Fantastic tour by lovely guide- highly recommend!I went on this tour and Roel (sorry if I cannot spell your name correctly) was our guide. It was just my party of three people and one other so a very small group- excellent for being able to hear and ask questions! The tour took us to so many of the sights I had wanted to visit, with really interesting information on the history of each site as well as contemporary recommendations to make the rest of our visit superb. We all had an excellent time and my friends both said this was the best city walking tour they had been on. Could not recommend more highly
- jilldmill00Wonderful tourMy husband, daughter and I had a private tour with Mika, (? - I'm sorry but I am blanking on her name), and it was the best. A long time resident of Bruges, (born and raised), she knew everything there is to know about the place, and showed us a true behind-the-scenes tour. We loved her knowledge of history and architecture and ability to teach us how power, religion and money all intersected to create Bruges - past and present. We had a full two hours of walking, talking and learning. Our guide also gave us great recommendations at the end for food, drink, chocolate and waffles. You could tell that she had been a teacher all her life and that helping others learn is her passion. The only thing I would do differently is start our time in Bruges with the tour instead of ending it with one. We waited a full day, and it would have really helped us to enjoy our time there better to learn on the front end. So, get the tour first and enjoy!
- CulturePam00Well worth it!I really enjoyed the tour. Sabrina, the guide, was informative and imparted her love of Bruges through anecdotes and facts. We went to places I would not ordinarily visit or know about through reading. The tour was also small enough so we could interact with each other as well as the guide. Great job.
- Kristin K00Fantastic walking tourMy mom and are thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour with Sabine. She gave us a lot of sneak peaks, funny jokes and great insights into the history of the past and present of Brugge. Would highly recommend this tour . Afterwards, she gave us a great restaurant recommendation a little off the tourist path with great local fare in a cozy little pub.
- Denisa I00A lovely & informative tourThis tour was recommended by our Airbnb host and it was a wonderful way to learn more about Bruges. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, and took us on routes away from the crowds, which made for a very pleasant tour and we could appreciate Bruges from an interesting perspective not offered by other touristic activities.
- Siggy7400A wonderful experience!- We really enjoyed how you pointed out the little details, like the statues of the Virgin Mary throughout Bruges; - We also really enjoyed all the historical fun facts, like the Lake of Love probably being a mistranslation; - It was great that wherever possible you guided us away from the crowds - we got to see parts of Bruges we wouldn't have seen otherwise and it was also quieter and more pleasant than out on the main streets; - The additional props like photographs and maps were really interesting; - We really appreciated your advice on what other tours to take (we did the boat tour and it was great!) and where to eat; - Getting a drink at the Historium afterwards was fun, it's a great location; - It was nice to have a smaller group (though I realise that may not always be possible!); - We felt you were always really informative and friendly, and overall it was a wonderful experience!

We had a great time with our host Pete, he told us great stories and information during the beer tasting and had us laughing throughout the waffle making process. The waffles came out great and we had a lot of fun. Highly recommend !!

Really enjoyed this experience. You start by tasting three beers and choosing the one you will use to make your waffles. The host is super friendly and good company. He is a local and has good stories to tell. You make the waffles from start to finish and then eat them (or take them away if you can't finish them all). They were delicious! There was only two of us and when I found this out I was surprised they had not cancelled the session, which happens so often with quirky tour opportunities like this. The location is only a few minutes walk from the main square. I would certainly recommend this.

Truly an amazing workshop! Piet did a fantastic job leading the adults through beer tasting and sharing some local history. He made the workshop fun and engaging and our kids really enjoyed it too. Highly recommend this great workshop while in Bruges! My kids said it’s their favorite part of our trip to Europe.

Such fun! Our host Giles was caught off guard when we arrived because he had been told there was no workshop at our time. He was a little flustered at first but was very professional in getting himself sorted and running the workshop. So much waffles and beer we left jolly, tipsy and very full. I very much recommend :)

Great event and Great Host. All was just awesome and relaxing. We were 3 couples and had lots of fun with a great and energetic host. Beer tasting was also very nice and lots available.
The one thing that I would improve is the waffles recipe renders quite soft waffles. We prefer a bit more crunchy. Maybe the waffle makers are not reaching very high heat. Thanks!

Went with my girlfriend and had an amazing time. All the beer was great and the host, Pete, was great and gave a good history of each beer and of the waffles. Making the waffles was very fun aswell as the beer tasting. There also isn’t anything better than unlimited beer and waffles. Would recommend to anyone visiting Brugge.

Such an authentic experience. Mark was a superb host, he was knowledgeable, inviting and extremely hospitable. Happy to provide as much beer as you could drink. During our session we met people from two different countries and to have the time to speak with them in such a welcoming setting was very memorable. The experience inspired us to purchase a waffle maker and relive the experience at home. If you have the opportunity to take part then do so, it's a truly memorable experience.

Hello. We are very excited about this excursion when our cruise ship arrives 9-6-2020. However, when I went into reserve our spot, I noticed that they are not offering weekend workshops at all in 2020. Is there a chance that they will offer the weekends later in the year?

Hi. I noticed when trying to book that the age is 14-90. Does that mean I don't have to pay for my 12 year old son? Thanks.

Hello Geoff,
Yes I think so, they have a child friendly version without beer.
Enjoy!

I don’t work for Waffles and Beer... you would have to reach out to them via a booking tool BUT I don’t think they can accommodate a group that large... unless there is a larger back room that i am not aware of....
I would check with them to be sure

Hello,
It depends on the day.
Normally you have 2 workshops a day.
I think one at 11 and one at 13h30.
Must do when visiting Bruges!
