- Coleen S0 contributionsFantastic tour and beer!I booked this as a surprise for my husband as part of a visit to Brugge for his birthday. We had a very small group of only us and one other person. This was great and our guide Ariel was absolutely fantastic. He was friendly and so knowledgeable about the city and the beers! We visited 5 locations and had 5 different beers. I’m not a big beer fan personally but Ariel gave me some beer I really enjoyed! It was a great way to look around the city and find out a bit of history whilst sampling the beers! Win win!!! Thanks Ariel we had a fantastic evening!Written October 28, 2019
- foxgirl9250 contributionsGreat tourMy husband and I took a day trip to Bruges from Paris and signed up for this beer tour. I am very picky when it comes to beer and was pretty disappointed when I found out the beer styles were preselected and you couldn’t choose what kind of beer to drink. But I was pleasantly surprised at how good the beer was. I drank 4/5 of the beers. Granted they still weren’t my favorite styles but they were drinkable and enjoyable. Patrick did a great job explaining the history of beer on Bruges and showing us around the city. Would recommend!Written May 21, 2019
- sammybear0 contributionsAmazing! We had the best time and our guide, Ariel, was so knowledgeable and fun! Highly recommend! Learned more about beer than I thought I would and the history of BrugesWritten March 2, 2019

- cgriz0260 contributionsSuch a great way to experience the city's rich beer culture and historyLet me start by stating that Tina is absolutely amazing, Rebecca and I feel as if we truly mad a friend in Brugge! She has a vast knowledge of the city's history having been a city guide for 10+ years and amazing insight into the beer culture of Brugge and Belgium as a whole. We got very lucky and what could have been a group tour ended up just being Tina and the two of us! She brought us to a few very cool pubs (one over 500 years old) and exposed us to an amazing variety of beers brewed in/around Brugge. It was an amazing evening and great value. Thank you Tina, you provided one of the highlights of our trip! Chase and RebeccaWritten January 10, 2019
- londonadrian28070 contributionsQuick drinkQuick drink to get out the cold whilst waiting for the rest of the group, Plenty of beer to choose from different strengths and flavours Nice outside seating area looking over the canal, would highly recommend a visit in the summer months, winter gets a tad chilly but they do have a small number of tables with heaters over themWritten December 16, 2018

- Sean B0 contributionsMust doSimplily put you are guided around the town getting pointed out fantastic interesting facts about bruges while stopping off for a few beers. Lovely beers are picked for you which is ideal when there are hundreds of beers and there's only so many you can try. Ariel, our guide was fantastic.Written November 25, 2018
- RohitDubai0 contributionsAmazing Experience & a Phenomenal HostWe’ve travelled over 30 countries in the last 2 years and this is probably the most well organized, knowledgeable and fun tour we’ve ever done. It’s far better experience than some indoor tours where you visit one brewery only. This tour actually gives you an opportunity to explore the whole city, understand the culture of this beautiful place and taste the beer across 4-5 locations. Kathleen, is an amazing host, puts you at ease with her warm welcome and then her phenomenal knowledge and passion for this city makes your day, one to remember. She’s very knowledgeable and showed us around the whole city center. Beer tasting is very well done with 5 beer tastings, each representing a history and city’s best offerings. We had a small group of about 6 people and she kept us engaged for about 4 hours. Must do when you visit here and try to book Kathleen if you want to understand everything about beer making from the Hops selection to the very art of pouring a beer!Written November 2, 2018
- soojin100 contributionsWorth the time and moneyKoen was very knowledgeable not only of Bruges, but the beers as well. Even with the rain, my husband and I enjoyed the history of Bruges as well as trying out the different beers. We will need to check out the BeerWalks in other cities the next time we're across the pond.Written September 28, 2018
- rakonline0 contributionsGood overview of the city and deep knowledge of the beersKathleen really knew her stuff. I was only in Brugge for the day and looking for a tour that gave me a flavor for the city as well as a tasting of the best beers. This tour delivers 100%.Written September 28, 2018
- Erin L0 contributionsEven the rain couldn’t dampen our spiritsAs a non beer enthusiast I was dragged along by my significant other, despite this I really enjoyed the tour, and I ended up quite liking the beer! Our guide really knew his stuff, would definitely recommend.Written September 24, 2018
- JimmyT6990 contributionsMust do for beer enthusiastsReally enjoyed this walk around Bruges which included some trips to some great bars (including the oldest bar in Bruges). Tour guide was very informative and had a lot of great info about Bruges itself, aswell as the local beers. Each beer was given in a tasting glass so there was not so much to drink to get you drunk.Written September 13, 2018
- mohicans0 contributionsSo much fun!Great tour. Great beer. Great guide. We lucked out and made friends with the other couple on the tour and had tons of laughs. Wonderful evening.Written September 2, 2018

We had our Beer walk tour with Maarten last Saturday and it was brilliant! Although we thought we were going to be in a group, we had gone at a quieter time in Brugge therefore we had our very own private tour for me and my partner - We agreed this was actually a bonus! Maarten is so friendly and taught us so much about Brugge and it's Beer, although I am not really a beer drinker I still enjoyed getting stuck in and tasting all the beers, suprisingly for me I liked most of them! My partner who is very much into his beer thought it was a great experience and we both highly recommend doing. Just bare in mind you do get plenty of steps in on the 3 hours but there are plenty of stops in lovely settings around the town. Martin also recommended us lovely places to have dinner which we ended up booking and it was spot on! - Local knowledge is priceless :-) Thanks Maarten!

Patrick was the ultimate tour guide. He took us to some quirky establishments where we sampled different beers but en route, he gave us interesting facts about the city, not all beer related. It was a really fun afternoon, would definitely recommend!

We had an amazing time w/ Marnik. He was extremely personable, knowledgeable and friendly. Four of us did the walk w/ him on NYE and it was a great way to close out 2022. Also the price point for a private tour w/ a few beers included can't be beat. He gave us great insight into the beers of Belgium and history of the city. He also pointed out some really great hidden gems that we even revisited the next days.

What an AMAZING day spent with BeerWalk Bruges! We had a wonderful walking tour of the city with our guide Kathleen. We went to 4 different beer stops which started at the Beer Museum and ended at a small family run shop. Throughout the day we learned about the vast history of Bruges as a medieval trading hub and how that influenced the evolution of beer in Belgium. We sampled many different types of belgian beer including Abbey beer made monks and received an extensive explanation of the history of each beer as well as how best to sample it. We thought this was a fantastic way to tour the city, enjoy a deep part of its culture, as well as learn about its history. Highly recommend Bruges BeerWalk!

We LOVED our beer walk in Bruges. It was my second beer walk (the first was in Ghent) and we cannot recommend this tour enough. We had Ariel as our guide both times and hope to do the beer walk with him in every town we visit! Amazing city and great, special beer.

We had a great time with Kathleen De Sutter as our tour guide last week. Kathleen was incredibly passionate about the history of beer and Bruges! We learned about both in a fun and relaxed environment. We also met a fun couple on the tour which made the 3-hour tour very enjoyable. Even if you're not an avid beer lover, you'll have a fantastic time on this tour. It's really a MUST while in Bruges.

Alain was great company, with loads of interesting stories about Bruges, its history, its architecture...and he also allowed plenty of time for relaxed conversation about Bruges today. Oh, and the five beers were delicious as well! Highly recommended :)

This tour is so worth it! Ariel was the absolute best. So informative & fun! The beer was different at each place. My friend and I were in the area for two days and learned so much about the beer and history on this tour. We lucked out and got Ariel to ourselves. What a treat! This tour is well worth it, stop reading reviews and boom your tour!!!

Hello, we are only 3 People, is it possible to participate to the beerwalk ?

Good question, I’m assuming you want to take your dog into all the drinking places? If it anything like the UK there will be some places that do allow dogs and some that don’t, there were 2x cellar bars on the tour that I would be surprised if they accepted dogs, but beerwalks may well be able to cater for dogs, suggest you get in contact with them?
