    Such a cool interactive museum!
I bought tickets online about 2 weeks prior for a 12 pm Monday time slot with a tasting. It was such a cool experience! When you first enter the museum, you’re greeted with a really eye-catching display of beer cans, that spell out the word “beer”, and a bunch of really cool beer posters. Once you get upstairs, they’ll give you a tablet and it becomes an interactive experience. There are QR codes all over the museum that you scan, and you can watch videos/hear audio about the history of beer. I would say the coolest exhibit is the globe. You can scan various countries and learn about the history of beer from those regions. It took us about a hour to see pretty much everything we wanted but if you want to go at a more leisurely pace, or if you’re super into beer, you could spend 1.5 to 2 hours here. Afterwards, you can head to the tasting room (if you booked that addition) and they give you 4 tokens for a tasting. My favorite beer was the Rodenbach Fruitage, which was a nice and crisp raspberry beer. They also have snacks for purchase, but we were saving our stomachs for an actual lunch. It's definitely worth a visit when you’re in Bruges. Don’t forget the photo ops with the bottles of beer on the wall in the museum!

Great price, good beers to taste could spend 1 to 2 hours here
Great tour , you walked at your own pace with an ipad mini and used the camera to click pictures which then brought up facts and a quiz. However what is clickable is not numbered and some smaller boards are for children so we missed some quiz questions. €12 entrance or €18 with three 150 ml tasters. One of best bits was video wall where you clicked on a country and beer and it showed an advert, but people seemed to miss it. It was hilarious we watched for half an hour and could have stayed longer,

    Meh
    1. The museum consists of two floors, where the attendee walks around with a tablet and scans random (and I would say tacky) items. Information dense and a bit boring. Not worth 12 euro. Certainly not 18 if u include beer tasting.

    Must See
I love this city. You can survey everything in a day., then backtrack to your favorites (SO many cool pubd and restaurants). The next day, rent a bike and ride along the canals. There are pubs, and towns, and shopping, canals, and monastic gardens, and park, and churches, and waffles (and I thought I knew waffles -- I did not, but I learned quick). I stayed at Hotel Lucca-- the owner (Hans) is a writer, musician, and historian. He sets you up with all he really good information (and the hotel is like stepping back in time). Everything about Bruges takes you back to another age, and I loved every minute.

    Worth a visit
Another inexpensive attraction in an expensive city. Belgium loves beer and this comes across in the Beer Experience. Your favourite part was the tasting in the bar at the end. The staff were great (as was the beer)

    Education about Beer Making
The beer experience is a nice stop if you're interested in learning about beer making in general and Belgium beers in particular. I suggest doing the tour and the three beer tasting. They're not full pours but you get to choose from two dozen options.

    Best views of the Markt
Located in a beautifully restored building, the best location is on the terrace off the bar for wonderful views over the square.

What an absolutely great trip to bruge, as me and my wife don't drive. We were worried on how to get around brussells, but we had no reason to worry though. As Brussells central station to bruge cost only €15 (euros) and took an hour. Going there was good, double decker train and loads of room. But coming back, not so lucky. The standard cattle truck trains, where we were kicked out of 1st class and made to stand in cramped corridors for part of the journey. But our visit to the city was really good, boat trip around the river and excellent places to eat and drink were out of this world. I would recommend the Belgium Blonde Beer

    Surpsingly good
We thought it might be a little boring, but nothing of the sort. Nicely presented with interactive information, so you can do as much or little as you wish. Interesting facts about this lively drink.

    Made beer interesting
Honestly don't know how they could have made beer more interesting than they did. It covered the ingredients, the brewing process, the history, geography, health, religion, you name it. You even get to to try beer afterwards. Well done guys!

I wasn't sure what to expect. Was an interesting, self-guided tour. They provide a tablet and you walk through the museum pointing at information. You can either read or listen to the information. There are also 20 quiz questions. FYI you can keep pointing at the same quiz button and you will get all the questions one by one. You don't have to hit different pictures. I enjoyed learning about the whole brewing process, history of beers, information on medical, women, food parings and much more. I did purchase the beer tasting at the end. You get to sit at the bar and enjoy the view (people and the Markt square). Would recommend this if you want to learn more about beer. You can listen/read as much or little as you choose.

We were a group of 6 adults with 4 kids under 5 years. The woman at the ticketing counter was very offensive just cz two of the 3 year olds tried to run inside and was telling us we can't all go in together unless we can guarantee kids will be silent. She was hell bent on not selling us tickets trying to discourage us going in and when she found we had prebooked tickets she rolled her eyes and said "oh great they already have tickets" to the others in queue. Pls have a more pleasant and understanding person at your ticketing counter. If the website allows free entry for kids under 5 that means kids are allowed and there's a way to request to try to keep kids as silent as possible not act like Hitler and say we MUST keep kids silent and if we think we can't we'd have to take turns going in. Crazy woman who ruined the experience for us. I would never recommend this place for anybody with kids.

I cannot begin to tell you have much we enjoy the Bruges Beer experience. For £18 with tastings you cannot beat this price. The interactiveness of the experience is very unique and they have an interactive section for children as well. Well done exhibit and very informational, we needed more than an hour just for the exhibit if you wanted to see everything. Tasting room is beautiful over looking the market square. Beer tenders very informative and we loved all 6 tasting we had. Small gift shop and small area/tastings available for purchase. Thank you for the help to our beertender.

A really nicely put together museum right in the centre of Bruges. Easy to find and tickets were reasonably priced. We spent around 1.5 hours here and it was very enjoyable. It uses iPads to give an interactive experience with a choice between listening/reading/videos/kids options.

In a great location, overlooking the market square this museum was a handy thing to visit on a very wet day.

The exhibition is information and issuing mini iPads is a nice tough.

The highlight is visiting the bar and sampling the beer, which is very well handled

Overall this was excellent. After climbing what seemed like a lot of stairs the friendly girl at reception handed over an iPad and ticket to replace my advance purchased online tickets and said to point at things for information and to hang onto the ticket for the beer tasting later. Really good for a beer buff who thinks they know a lot about beer production as myself and my boyfriend did really badly at the 20 question quiz! The bar at the end was our favourite light and airy really good value and we would return just for the bar. I can't drink beer but they had a gluten free beer which they exchanged for our tokens so I didn't miss out. We may have had quite a few beers!

Skip the museum because it's useless without very long and boring explanations from iPad narrator. Very por exhibit items. Go straight to the bar, get the option of 5 tastings for 10 euro and enjoy! Friendly staff in the bar. Good cheese also.
We expected to see here the history of the beer, collections of beer barrels and glasses from various periods, development of brewing equipment thru the ages, beer in popular culture, fun items etc. - none were present. I attached the foto of the only brewing equipment presented in the museum.

A great experience. The museum is very well laid out, informative, and the interactive approach means you're free to explore as much ir as little as you choose. We both thoroughly enjoyed learning about the local connection to the beer around Bruges and the great selection of beers in the bar. Very knowledgeable bar staff who seem to take a lot of pride in the product they serve. Highly recommended for a couple of hours in your day.

Fantastic museum giving the background on beer making. Interactive system with iPads and headphones. At the end you have the option to have some 150ml samples of beer - the guys behind the counter will guide your way with each beer, we all had a great time.

The museum is led by ipads and earphones this means there is no interaction with those you went with. We didn't find the experience engaging at all. However the beer tasting at the end saved the day. We enjoyed tasting a variety of beers in a nice comfortable and clean bar.
