- Agaath D0 contributionsFantastic Beer WalkWe had an amazing time with Ariel on our Beer Walk. He was incredibly well informed and was able to answer all our questions. It was great to hear about the history of Ghent through the lens of beer brewing. Highly recommended!Written July 10, 2022
- H9040RSmaryb0 contributionsExcellent Tour!!My husband and I loved this tour!! Tom, our tour guide, was knowledgeable about not only the beer but the history of Ghent, too! It is hard to teach my husband something new about beer, but he learned several new things through our tour. Our tour guide, Tom, took us around town and helped understand the history behind Ghent and Beer. After living in Belgium 7 years, I tried beers that I had never heard of or never though to try and I am glad I did. I have a few new Belgian favorites now. Definitely a must do activity in Ghent!Written June 15, 2021
- paveway30 contributionsFantastic city tour with a unique perspectiveOur guide Tom was excellent. Educational and entertaining tour, lots of history of brewing in Ghent.Written June 13, 2021

- AimeeC6780 contributionsBrilliant gift!Bought this tour as a gift for two people spending a long weekend in Ghent. They absolutely loved it - their guide was also knowledgeable about Ghent’s history and architecture so they got so much more than a beer tour, and they had such a good time they stayed an hour or so longer than scheduled! Awesome experience, really pleased.Written November 8, 2019
- Matthew L0 contributionsFantastic Beers and Fun HistoryOur guide was very knowledgeable, pointing out architectural and civic history of Ghent as we walked from pub to pub. The pubs were a mix of old/traditional to more modern styles. Our guide tried to be flexible on offering beers that suited our interests. Great tour!Written September 18, 2019
- Heinz Harald R0 contributionsAwesome!Turned out my husband and I had Tom all to ourselves so we were even able to go to a small brewery and meet the owner/brewer. It was a truely fun, interesting and tasty evening and a great introduction not only to beer but also the city which lasted until shortly before midnight (instead the announced 10pm :D). Would highly recommend it to anyone!Written September 10, 2019

Our tour guide, Patriek was very knowledgeable and took extra time to make sure we learned about the city's interesting stories. The beers we had were delicious and a great choice. Excellent tour around Gent historical center, including various beers in various places. Our guide Ariël was clearly a true beer enthusiast and expert, and also told nice historical details and stories about the city places that we walked by on our tour. Only bad thing was that there was so much new and interesting information about beer, that I have already forgotten half of it :-)

Super cozy walk with delicious beers on the way.. in addition fun facts about Ghent.. the starting location is a very nice pub, and here you can also cozy end.. if you are looking for a cozy activity, I can recommend this wholeheartedly. You will immediately see the nice cozy squares in the city, so you get to know Ghent a little on arrival..

Very nice experience!
During the walk through the center of Ghent, the Guide knew how to tell something peculiar everywhere. We were taken to various squares/buildings/old monasteries, etc. where a detailed description of the history of the places was given in all those places.
Nice Guide, and of course good beer!

I have already experienced this for the 2x. Thanks to our guide Tom aka the Pied Piper. 🙈 also for the 2x. You learn something and see something different than just the shops. I'm not a big beer drinker, but I would participate again in a heartbeat. Nice and we had a good time. Grt Kurt the brother of da chicks 🤣🤣

Beautiful tour of Ghent. The combination of some historical facts / descriptions of buildings with stops to taste some beers (with appropriate explanation about the beer taste / culture) makes it a relaxing afternoon.
The guide spoke with great enthusiasm ... the good weather made it complete ...

History and beer go hand in hand, a fantastic experience when walking through Ghent.
This is definitely worth it for anyone who wants to explore a city in a group and experience our Belgian pride "beer". For people who do not want to drink alcohol, the history of the city makes this walk unforgettable.
