Find the the REAL WAY Belgian Waffles are made.
So this was one of my must do's as the family chef. I have eaten "Belgium" waffles in the States, but I was never really sure I was eating the real thing. Well, as it turns out, I wasn't!!! Belgium waffles user carbonated water (or beer), Vanilla Sugar and Beetroot based Brown sugar. That made all the difference in the world and boy were they good!!! Danni was out instructor for the class and she was very helpful in making sure we followed all the steps in the recipe to ensure a good waffle. Overall a great experience!!! We just wish we could have taken all the extra waffles we couldn't eat home with us (we were taking a plane that afternoon out of the country). Oh well, next time!!!

      Short fun activity
This was a nice, short, enjoyable activity. Making waffles isn't hard, but it was fun to learn a new recipe and hear the history of waffles. The instructor was very nice and enthusiastic. It's definitely an activity for all ages. The building was a bit warm but otherwise it was great.

      Go eat the waffles!
We had a great time. Danni, our instructor was awesome. She gave a us a history of waffles before explaining what we needed to do. The waffles were amazing and we got to eat as many as we wanted. I would say if you are thinking about this trip then book it.

      Fun experience
Quite self explanatory, the process is very simple so we were given written instructions and the products to prepare the waffles. The instructor was nice and cheerful. Overall it might be a bit too pricy for what you pay considering the ingredients are extremely cheap but I have a cool memory with friends

      Worth a go…
Not the best location, feels off the beaten track. But once inside nice room. Host very friendly and knowledgeable, however made a few errors with menu distribution. Waffles very nice, better than we paid for in certain branded outlets, good value with lots of choice of toppings and all you can eat!

We were taught how to make the waffles but no extra tips or secrets as to how to make a perfect waffle. Overall t'was ok
The instructor just gave us the recipe and the ingredients. Nothing special or at least a tip on how to make good waffles. I can always just do this myself by watching youtube. The reason we attend workshops is to learn something we will not be able to learn outside. This is quite a disappointment though the instructor was very nice and kind.

We really enjoyed the workshop! We learned lots and the waffles were delicious, the nicest we ever had. Our instructor was lovely also. Highly recommend to do it!

      Wonderful Waffle Workshop!
My mother and I started a tradition last year that every time we went to Europe, we would do some sort of cooking class or workshop. We started off with a Macaroon workshop in Paris, and now the waffle workshop in Brussels. Not only is this workshop super affordable, but it’s a blast and doesn’t take up too much of your day. Prior to making waffles, you listen to a short presentation about waffles, including history and facts. Very interesting. You can choose to make a smaller or larger batch of batter, but who wouldn’t want to make the larger?! The waffles were easy to make, following along with the recipe. Once they were done cooking, we could choose from a variety of different toppings including chocolate, strawberry, and cocoa sauce, peanut butter, Nutella, Biscoff spread, fresh strawberries, nuts, and more. This may be controversial, but these waffles were not as tasty as the ones you can find on the street. Don’t get me wrong, they were delicious but they were missing something compared to the classic street waffle. Our instructor was absolutely precious and very helpful. She went out of her way to make sure we had a great experience. Each person is served one drink to enjoy with their waffle. Aluminum foil is provided to take extra waffles home. Highly recommend this class. Loads of fun!

Nice way to learn how to make Brussels waffles
Nice easy to follow workshop for Brussels style waffles. Location a luirse out if the way and not marked so recommend a cab/Uber unless you’re comfortable walking and navigating the streets. Inside was a very nice setup and great staff.

      Fun experience with young kids
I went for this workshop with my 4 year old daughter and we both had a fantastic time!! Lovely atmosphere, delicious waffles and super easy recipe (even for a 4 year old) - a must do in Brussels!

      Great fun
Fantastic couple of hours learning all about waffles, and then making & eating them! Lovely instructor (Vlada? Apologies if that's not correct) took her time to explain and demonstrate everything to the class and then the fun begins! Mixing all the ingredients, into the waffle iron and then cover them in a great choice of toppings. Delicious! Great fun for all the family. Thoroughly recommended.

      Informative, fun, and filling
The workshop was great fun with our 12 & 10 year old boys. Kelly (from Peru) was a brilliant host. I agree that it is a requirement to come hungry! I hit the waffle wall after 2, but we were able to take 8 away with us for later. A great way to start a day in Bruges.

We booked and paid 1 month in advance and the agreement was confirmed.
A few hours before the event it was cancelled, so it ruined our plans for the day - and a wasted night in Brussels that we'd rather spent in another city.
At least we were called up and the organizer tried to rebook to another day, but since it was our last in Brussels, it could not be used for anything.
Cause of cancellation was that we were 2 registered. Bad style not to carry out the arrangement - they could easily. It does others, even with few enrollments.
But they knew the number of registrations before a few hours before the start, so they could have rescheduled us a long time before, and then we could have put it fit into our itinerary.

This was literally one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. I don’t really cook but I had no issues, and the staff helped out whenever anyone did. Our instructor, Jose, was an amazing, super friendly guy, and when we asked him about places to eat/drink in the city, he had some fantastic recommendations. Overall, a worthwhile experience and one of the highlights to my Brussels trip.

I joined the tour on a very busy day, there were at least 25 other people and so the stations were very crowded. There weren't enough ingredients for our group. The class went by so quickly. I wish they did a class that focused on both types of Belgian Waffles so you walk away with more knowledge.

We booked for myself and 2 children. My husband has MS and can’t use his hands so was unable to participate but wanted to sit and watch. The owner told him he had to go or pay for a place. She was very rude and told him it was like going to the cinema for free! She wasn’t interested in his disability or being accommodating. It’s rare for someone not to be kind about his disability so it was upsetting.

This ruined the experience somewhat. The actual cooking was fun although it did seem a shame that they couldn’t supply enough equipment or recipes for each group as it did mean waiting for others to finish. The actual waffles were nice but I wouldn’t recommend if you have any additional needs!

Arthur, our teacher, was a little bit uncoordinated. Our batter was made and we were standing around and had to wait. A familiy with 4 children had no mask on, nobody ask if that´s okay for the others. The rest of us had all masks on. The fun factor wasn`t very high, but the waffle-recipe is top!

We had a great time with our hostess. We had a fun class about the different types of waffles. We got to make our own batter, and then eat and eat and eat! We had so many topping we couldn’t even use them all. There was fun music playing in the background, and it was a party atmosphere with people from around the world. Everyone should do it at least once!

Paulina is so sweet, funny and entertaining.
We got lo learn about the different types of waffles and how to make the Brussels one.
We got paired into teams of four to cook.
We could even make waffles to take home!

Such a fun idea. We were in Brussels for the day and with lots of sight seeing and walking we thought this would be the perfect idea in the middle of the day. Jose and John were great hosts and showed us how to make the waffles. We were a group of 3 and had 1 bowl with all of the ingredients. We had to share the waffle makers but we all took turns and added our own toppings, there were lots of variety on offer. I would recommend 👌

We arrived with around 10 of us in total. Talking through the history of waffles and which ones come from where etc. The host was very friendly and making waffles was alot of fun. They say unlimited but I was done at 3. The record is nine!!

I would say its a must do in Brussels. However slightly on the more pricey side but no regrets at all. It was insightful, fun and tasty

This activity lived up to me expectations. The host (can’t remember her name) was lovely and made everyone feel welcome and involved. We learned about the different types of waffle and made Belgian waffles from a simple recipie. All toppings etc provided and we even had enough left over to take back for the next day. Really enjoyable couple of hours. Thanks
