- N_travelling100Brilliant, fun and informative walking tour - cannot recommend enough! The walking tour was fun, informative and enjoyable. Francisco knew tons of information about Brussels and shared this with the group in a fun and interactive way - making this an very enjoyable tour (despite the constant rain). I cannot recommend this tour enough!
- ribbonstring00Free Walking TourWent on the afternoon free walking tour with Adrien who was very funny and entertaining and also very knowledgable about Brussels. I had been on two other walking tours in Belgium already by the time I took this tour and I still learnt loads of interesting info as Adrien seemed to put a different angle on it and had the best storytelling that I'd experienced.
- NinaMarieC00Great experience -- well worth your timeThis was the highlight of my time in Brussels! I learned so much history and got to visit sights that I would have missed had I been on my own wandering around. I am now convinced that a walking tour is the way to start off any visit in a new city!
- Lindsey P00Five Star Walking TourWe did the Free Walking Tour in Brussels with Fraser. The tour was excellent, we had a great time with a great guide who was extremely informative and very funny. Even between stops Fraser was happy to answer any questions and tell us even more about the city! He was also great at recommending places to go and things to do in the city. Overall Fraser was a great guide and we would recommend this tour to anyone!
- joannea89800Fairytale Ghent and BruggeWhat a slick tour! A big thank you to Brussel City Tours for this amazing experience. We met at the City Tour centre in Brussels, and we were allocate red wrist bands for the English speaking group, as well as audio boxes and ear phones for the walking tour portions. The tour is offered in a variety of languages and our tour was well supported. We departed in a coach on time and headed for Ghent at 9h00. We had a fantastic tour guide, Andrea, who charmed our group and explained the history and culture of the area. We had a walking tour of Ghent and we’re shown all the local favourites from best places to have waffles, beer, buy souvenirs and to have lunch. We also had some free time for exploring. We all met at the meeting point and headed back on the coach for Brugge. Brugge was amazing. A quaint historical town- a photographic dream, with plenty of Kodak moments! For an additional fee, you can enjoy a canal cruise around Brugge, which I highly recommend. Despite the rain, we thoroughly enjoyed this tour and highly recommend Andrea and her team. We departed Brugge at 17h30 and arrived at Brussels Central station drop off point at 19h00. Not to be missed!!
- Laksagirl00Great Free walking tour!We did the Free Walking tour and it was fabulous. Fraser was an excellent guide with lots of humour and historical insight. He was well worth the tip!
- hlmgarrison00Great way to learn about the cityWe loved the 3-hour city walking tour. Tom was a great tour guide and it was a great way to get to know the city. Would recommend, particularly as it's pay what you want, so good option for students or families on a budget, but very much worth chipping in a few extra euros of you have it.
- rowanj21000Brussels free walking tourI had an amazing tour with Tom! His tour was interesting, informative and fun. I've done a number of similar walking tours in other cities through Europe and he is the best tour guide I've had. Would definitely recommend
- Traveler33087900Amazing beer tourFraser is amazing! Really enjoyed the backstory of the Belgian beer culture and intro to Trappist beers. Must attend if you like beer.
- X6821TZlaurab00Great!Learned so much from Tom! He was great and v informative, good vibes def would recommend :) Got to drink beer and hear about the history in a fun way
- 185clarai00Amazing!!!!Tom was unreal!!!! Highly recommend! Learned so much, beers were delicious, and he was so knowledgeable and fun!!! He was an amazing guide and drank alongside us ❤️
- anitai58900Free walking tourI had an amazing free waking tour with Fraser. Fraser was extreme knowledgeable about the city and made the tour interactive and fun. He also gave great recommendations on food spots and other things to try out whilst in Brussels. I had a fantastic time. Saw key spots and learnt a lot
- jasonbM3142SQ00A truly wonderful experienceWe had a wonderful tour with Fraser today! We did the free walking tour of Brussels with him. He was hilarious, friendly, welcoming, and so knowledgeable about the city. Despite having a very large group, he made us all feel included and part of the experience, spending time trying to engage everyone, not just a select few. He did a great job of sharing a wide variety of facts about the city, both historic and anecdotal, and did an absolutely fabulous job of keeping our attention throughout with his sense of humour. He was highly entertaining throughout. We had such a great time and even immediately headed to his recommendation for frites (they were delicious!) after the tour wrapped up. Fraser truly went above and beyond with his tour (he provided us with recommendations for beer, bars, chocolate, and more!), and the experience will truly be a highlight of our much longer three week trip through Europe. I can't recommend a tour with Fraser enough! Thanks again for a lovely day!
- DoodlesnDragons00Free walking tour is great!I went on a free walking tour of Brussels, our tour guide was Fraser, and I had a blast! Other than being educational, he indeed managed to be very funny, and always tried to include us in the experience as much as possible:)
- dannynberlin00Fraser was Great! My tour guide was Fraser for the free walking tour or Brussels and he was amazing! He had such a great personality and was very interactive with the group! He did a great job of sharing lots of fun facts about Brussels and each site we were looking at. He constantly made jokes throughout the tour and included many members of the tour. He was also great to talk with one on one as we walked from each site. He gave us great restaurant and bar recommendations that I was able to try out after the tour and they were amazing. I would definitely recommend doing a tour with Fraser, and I plan on doing more sandeman tours in the future.

Our guide was Charlotte- “Charlie”, and she definitely knew her history of chocolate. She was humorous, loved food, and it was obvious she loves what she does. We had a big group, but she kept everyone informed, made sure everyone got chocolate, and was considerate of the shops we visited.
The chocolate stops were amazing. Each place had a purpose, and a history. Charlie took her time to explain each chocolate prior to the tasting. We really appreciate locals supporting locals.
Thank you for a great (and delicious!) tour! We can’t wait to take some of Brussels home with us.

We had an amazing time during this chocolate tasting tour with Mathais. He was really informative and enthusiastic. He helped us to like Brussels even more :) And its hard not to like the city when you're tasting some great chocolates. This is a delicious part of the culture, and this tour is a must visit for everyone who's seeking for some good vibes while in Brussels.
The only remark - takes a bit of time while you wait for people to buy the cholocates at the shops.

Great chocolate tasting tour with Peter. Lots of interesting details about the chocolatiers of Brussels but still kept it light and fun. And great selection of chocolates to try! Peter made sure everyone was included, would thoroughly recommend to anyone who likes chocolate :)

My Brussels experience would not have been the same without doing a chocolate tasting tour. Mattias was a funny, engaging, and knowledgeable guide and made the experience that much better. We visited several of Brussel's best chocolate shops in the city center while tasting some of the most delicious chocolate. A must-do!

Coming to Brussels, my friend and I had no idea where to start. We had a list of about thirty places we wanted to see but we didn’t know how to get to them without backtracking. We saw an advertisement for a free walking tour and we are SO glad we did it!! It was the best experience by far and we are so glad we had Matthias! He was so well-spoken, had a great clear voice for projecting, and was very funny!! He also gave us amazing recommendations that we took advantage of afterwards. We learned more than we could have reading about it and we thoroughly enjoyed it! We liked him as a tour guide so much that we also booked the chocolate tour with him for that afternoon! Then we went to Bruges the next day! Our last and final day in Brussels, we coincidentally ran into him again as he was giving another tour. He was so friendly and happy, Matthias definitely made our weekend so enjoyable and we will remember it forever. We got to see everything on our list and more! Thank you Matthias! I highly recommend this tour!!!

This chocolate tour is perfect. It is the best-priced one in town, confirmed after a thorough Google search. It's definitely worth the price, since you get a waffle + 5 pralines, all from different vendors.
It's not an intensive walk, and it is well paced.
Our tour-guide was Matthias. He was knowledgeable, made the tour fun as well as interesting. He had great, fun facts up his sleeves and was extremely entertaining. The best part is, you get a 10% discount at several vendors from the tour! Once again, a huge thanks to Matthias for making the tour extremely fun.

I had the BEST time at this tour! Tom did a fantastic job keeping the tour light and fun! He was very knowledgeable and funny. I took this tour on the windiest day possible and his comic delivery was a good distraction. The tour was balanced with chocolate tastings and historical factoids. Really worth the value! I highly recommend it!

Good introduction to Belgian chocolates! We were split Into two groups out tour guide, Tom, worked hard to entertain us and kept us motivated with a good range of chocolate treats. We visited 5 venues for chocolate and also a street waffle stop. It felt good value and a nice thing to on our first afternoon after arriving.

The Chocolate tour was so good !! Would recommend! Our guide was very funny and informative without overloading us. The places we went to were all pretty good. Would have liked to have more of a choice of what we chose as we got 6 pralines and didn’t get to choose them (two of the flavours we tried were dark chocolate and chocolate + olive-which won best chocolate in the world in 2017, so if you don’t like those flavours you may not enjoy the chocolates) however overall really good and worth the price !

One of my favorite tours I’ve done in Europe! Tom was our tour guide and we had a small group so we were able to walk inside the chocolate shops. Learned a lot about chocolate and the history of Belgian chocolate that I wouldn’t have otherwise known. Perfect for all ages - toddlers to grandparents. Would 100% recommend this to all my friends.

I see you get to taste chocolate which is obviously included in the price but some reviews are talking about waffles... is that included?

Yes - we just went a few weeks ago and you do get to taste one whole waffle, which was delicious! You have a choice of more chocolate if you don’t want the waffle!
Is the chocolate tour recommended for those with nut allergies? Do you know if the chocolate that will be sampled will have nuts in it?

I did the tour, I have a fairly severe nut allergy was expecting not to eat anything - but wanted to do it for the experience. James our guide asked right at the start for allergies and in every area told me what I could and could not eat, always found an alternative and really took it seriously.
Any risk is your own, but I was fine!!!

You need to visit Trip Advisor or Viator. People who post reviews here are not the ones who run the tour. (There are several. I chose the $25 one.
