This tour was one of the major highlights for the 15 students and for me. Magali was amazing. The students were exhausted because of a massive train delay but she was engaging, funny, and really knew Brussels. She answered all questions and gave us great recs for lunch and dinner. Tom, our tour guide, was amazing! He was high energy and very enthusiastic about Belgian beer.
However there were a lot of cons to this tour. The start of the tour was upstairs in a packed bar. We were up there for over an hour drinking 1 beer only. It was very loud and we could barely hear the guide. Also the group was MASSIVE. It felt extremely touristy. We also only went to 2 bars, I would have liked to see more of the Belgian beer scene and had smaller groups. We met some new friends on the tour which was great and drank with them after.
I would recommend this tour if you want to get some history on Belgian beer but be prepared to be stuffed into a room full of strangers and get talked at for 3 hours.

Had a fantastic beer tasting experience during my stay in Brussels. After doing the free walking tour of the city, which was fabulous as well, my friend and I decided to do this tour. We met at Scott's bar in the city center, and we were automatically taken by Tom's charm and friendliness. He was not only engaging and entertaining, but his knowledge about Belgian beer was impressive and solid. We tasted some of Belgium's best beers and met great people from all over the world. Highly recommend this tour with Tom for an authentic beer tasting experience!

We very both very impressed with this tour and how informative it was. At first I was sceptical that is would be like a pub crawl - some background but mostly talking amongst the other attendees. Our guide Adelin was very charismatic and enthusiastic about passing on his knowledge (and passion) for beer to us, giving plenty of information for each beer before we tried It, whilst also keeping the mood light and interesting. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone who wants to try some typical Belgian beers whilst also learning about what they are drinking and how they came to be.

This tour was made fantastic by our great guide Tom! He was extremely knowledgeable and obviously very passionate about what he was talking about! He mixed a good amount of history with information about the beer which was really interesting. He also had a great sense of humor. I am usually not a big fan of beer but I really enjoyed learning about the history and it made me appreciate the drink more!

This was a really great tour. Our group was only six people so the tour was much more intimate. Our guide Quentin really made the evening for us. He was knowledgeable, funny and most of all, he passed on his love of Belgian beer to us. We visited a number of bars to try out different styles of beer. We even went back to a couple of bars the next day for another beer.
It wasn't all about beer though. Quentin passed on lots of helpful tips and restaurant recommendations.
The tour was great for those with limited mobility as there was not too much walking between bars.

My adult daughter and I spent the weekend in Brussels sightseeing and I signed up for this beer tour because I’ve done others and found them to be fun, entertaining and a great way to spend an evening with nice people in a strange city. I really like that the hosts for these tours are locals who know their area and their city. In Quentin’s case he also knows his beer and pretty much everything about how and why it has been made. We tasted several Belgian beers and learned what made them significant. Importantly, Quentin made sure everyone was comfortable and talked to each other. We had a great time and went to dinner afterwards with people we met on the tour. I highly recommend doing this tour if you’re planning to visit Brussels.

Adrian was a great guide and was very funny and knowledgable! He made sure everyone was included and having a good time. The first place was super loud and extremely hot in the restaurant and the second place was much more quiet. Overall a good experience!

Went on this tour with a friend and it was great fun. We tried 4 different beers and moved to 3 different locations. Fraser, the tour guide, was very knowledgeable and made sure everyone was having a good time. No snacks or food is provide along the way and the beer is fairly strong, I'd recommend eating beforehand!

We aren’t necessarily “travel tour” people and often find city tours and guided beer tastings cheesy and gimmicky. Absolutely not the case with this beer tasting tour. Tom was an amazing tour guide and had us laughing and learning about Trappist beer all throughout. Absolutely worth the time and money if you are interested in the intersection of beer and Belgian history.

It was definitely good to hear more about the history of beer making in Belgium. We were brought two bars, both decent with good beers. We were expecting that we would visit three places as suggested on the itinerary. Our guide was Fraser. He has the knowledge and some jokes up his sleeve but it was sounding tired like he has done this for a long time and too many years. We discovered cherry beer from this tour. Very nice and refreshing almost like a sweet sparkling wine.
