We aren’t necessarily “travel tour” people and often find city tours and guided beer tastings cheesy and gimmicky. Absolutely not the case with this beer tasting tour. Tom was an amazing tour guide and had us laughing and learning about Trappist beer all throughout. Absolutely worth the time and money if you are interested in the intersection of beer and Belgian history.

I did this tour alone when I arrived to Brussels. Fraser was a great guide and was very knowledgeable on both Belgian beer history and on the city. The beer was delicious and the bars we went to were a great blend of local spots and lively atmosphere! I thought Fraser did a great job of making everyone feel comfortable and encouraging the group to socialize. This tour is a must do in Brussels!

We enjoyed the beer tour and the information regarding beers local to Brussels and surrounding areas.
Adrien was a very informative and engaging tour guide that led us to book two more tours.
We appreciated the local recommendations Adrien provided us which allowed us to experience excellent places off the tourist path.
Would highly recommend tours with Adrien and this tour group for both affordability and information.

Tom, our tour guide, was amazing! He was high energy and very enthusiastic about Belgian beer.

However there were a lot of cons to this tour. The start of the tour was upstairs in a packed bar. We were up there for over an hour drinking 1 beer only. It was very loud and we could barely hear the guide. Also the group was MASSIVE. It felt extremely touristy. We also only went to 2 bars, I would have liked to see more of the Belgian beer scene and had smaller groups. We met some new friends on the tour which was great and drank with them after.

I would recommend this tour if you want to get some history on Belgian beer but be prepared to be stuffed into a room full of strangers and get talked at for 3 hours.

Fraser was one of the best guides I've ever had on a walking tour. By making us interact with each other, this greatly added to the whole experience - I often travel alone and don't mind being on my own, but it was great to speak and interact to fellow travellers. As others have said, it's clear Fraser is committed to providing the best experience and tour for everyone in the group, and he is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Brussels and its history. Some of us then decided to do the beer tour with Fraser later in the evening, which again was very informative and enjoyable (especially as beer was involved!) Thanks for enhancing my experience in Brussels!

Great Beer tour in Brussels with knowledgable and also funny tour guide Quenten. It began with the history of belgian beers and great insights of trappist beers and backgrounds. We have also tasted some great local beers and had an opportunity to meet fantastic group of people.
The whole experience was great and definitely recommend this type of activity!

The tour is about 2 hours, we’ve met inside the Scott’s bar and despite the group was quite big (25 people) it was very relaxed and friendly. During the tour we’ve learned some information about Belgian beers, but it was not boring at all. Special thanks to our tour guide Quinten who made this experience such a fun

We had a choice of two trappist beers in the first place, and (good size) of three other beers in the second place. The second location in particular was a really nice old place.

Matt was very knowledgeable and welcoming. He provided plenty of information about the history of beer and Belgian beer in particular, answered questions, introduced different styles of beer and made recommendations, and went round the tables making sure that everyone felt welcome.

Overall an excellent tour with a great guide and great value for money!

Had a fantastic beer tasting experience during my stay in Brussels. After doing the free walking tour of the city, which was fabulous as well, my friend and I decided to do this tour. We met at Scott's bar in the city center, and we were automatically taken by Tom's charm and friendliness. He was not only engaging and entertaining, but his knowledge about Belgian beer was impressive and solid. We tasted some of Belgium's best beers and met great people from all over the world. Highly recommend this tour with Tom for an authentic beer tasting experience!

We very both very impressed with this tour and how informative it was. At first I was sceptical that is would be like a pub crawl - some background but mostly talking amongst the other attendees. Our guide Adelin was very charismatic and enthusiastic about passing on his knowledge (and passion) for beer to us, giving plenty of information for each beer before we tried It, whilst also keeping the mood light and interesting. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone who wants to try some typical Belgian beers whilst also learning about what they are drinking and how they came to be.
