      A Great Tour!
I had an amazing time on the chocolate tour on February 13th! It was a bit cold, but that made it even better because we could stop at chocolate shops along the way to taste some delicious chocolates and warm up. February is a great time for the tour, as there were no lines, and we could see the famous statues without any queues. The highlight of the tour was definitely tasting the exclusive, high-quality chocolates—we got to try some incredible varieties! The guide was punctual, knowledgeable, and shared so many interesting facts. Overall, it was a perfect experience! Highly recommended!

      Fantastic Chocolate Tour in Brussels!
This chocolate tour in Brussels was fantastic. The chocolate stops were wonderful, and each shop offered a different story and different types of chocolate to sample and purchase. Historical information and stories and info about the area were part of the tour, and our travel guide Beni was so fun to be with and so knowledgeable. The chocolate workshop where we made our own chocolates was unique and creative. We learned a lot, we loved this tour, and we would highly recommend!

      Informative and enjoyable
Excellent tour. Combined sightseeing with chocolate tasting and making so ideal! Really enjoyed it. The guide was really friendly and told us lots of interesting facts about the city. We visited a number of chocolate shops and then had a chance to make our own at a workshop. Couldn’t have asked for more. Would definitely recommend.

      Wow - great chocolates!
I am so glad that we did this tour. Our guide, Beni, was AMAZING! I never liked dark chocolates until today. She not only gave us the history of the area and chocolates, but she herself was very interesting. All of the chocolates were delicious and so smooth. I only wish that we had more time in Brussels so that we could go back to the chocolate shops and purchase more chocolate.

      Yummy yummy chocolate!
We had Madeline (I’m hoping I got that right!! I remember her telling us a story about how her name means Madeline!) as a tour guide and she was SO out going, personable, and talkative. I feel like I learned so much about the culture and people of Brussels just through conversation, of course we learned about chocolate as well! She is an absolute delight!! As for the chocolate she took us to a few different shops and I found out I have a very “boujee” taste (of course the most expensive!) and love the Madagascar chocolates!

Sebastian was the perfect host. A very friendly gentleman. Also very knowledgeable. We had a wonderful afternoon and met some great people from USA. Sebastian also recommended a restaurant for our dinner . It too was fabulous.

      Great trip for small groups
Great way to be introduced to Brussels and have fun making chocolate. We saw some interesting buildings and learned why there are statutes of a little bay peeing everywhere.

Great tour, chocolate tasting and workshop
We thoroughly enjoyed this tour, chocolate tasting and workshop. The guide was friendly and approachable. The starting point was easy to find. We went to lots of independently retailers which meant we sampled exquisite high-quality chocolates. It was a great opportunity to taste flavours I wouldn’t normally choose. They were all delicious. We learned a lot and we learned to avoid the tourist trap cheap chocolate shops! The tour was a good pace and relaxing. When we went to the workshop, we had the opportunity to decorate lots of chocolates and went home with a big bag full. We also had a demonstration on praline making chocolates and all had at piping in the caramel in ourselves although unfortunately we didn’t get to take those ones home!. Overall, I would recommend this tour to learn about Belgian chocolate.

      Provocative chocolate experience!
Amazing, delicious, fun! Thus your is filled with historical learning; teaching about the chocolate trade. Each stop we experienced speciality chocolate that the royals enjoyed to new flavors in the by new curators. We topped it off with creating our own chocolates and learning about chocolate creations. Just an wonderful tour

Enjoyed this tour with guide Mark and a total of eight guests. This is exactly the type of tour one should take when visiting a new city for the first time in order to be better informed. We consumed food items Brussels that is known for, along with some local beers. No doubt that the quality of each was better than if we had randomly gone to restaurants and bars on our own. Another treat was arriving at Manneken Pis in time for its daily unveiling of that day’s costume. We also stopped at the other two “Pis” statues - dog and little girl. Between food/beverage stops, Marc talked about sites we were passing, such as a hotel that was built so as to incorporate a section of protected old city wall within it. He also offered recommendations for other places, like where to get the best frites. At the last food stop - waffles - we arrived at a very crowded venue, with waiting tables marked as reserved for our group; so, no waiting!

We had a great time on this tour. Sebastian was knowledgeable and interesting. The food and drink stops were places we wouldn’t have found ourselves. The group was about 18 from a mixture of American, Irish and English. Within 30 minutes we were all chatting away and had a great time. Thanks

This tour was so yummy. It is a great idea to have tasting in a private setting rather than a restaurant. The mussels so good with no fishy smell. Love the meat balls as well. The beers were very flavorful. When I was already almost full, a full serving of waffle and coffee. The chocolate tastings were out of this world. Will definitely go back to Galler and buy some home. Thanks Avo .

Our tour guide gave us so much history about the town of brussels that i wouldn’t have known other wise. He brought us to many different fountains and statues explaining the story of each one. He showed the architectural mistakes of the grand place. The food part was worth it in its entirety. We started with belgium chocolate that just melted in your mouth. My group and I went back later that day to buy more. We then had some belgium trappist beer which was also yummy, and im not the biggest beer fan. Then it was lunch time and just wow. The portions were amazing. We got a big bowl of mussels to start and then finished with a beef stew. Finally we went and got a waffle. That was a little bit of a let down. Not the best waffle i had in belgium however, it still tasted good.

Had a great time and it was a great tour. Avo was very interesting to listen to, and made sure to chat to everyone in the group. The tour focused mainly on the food/drink but did get to hear plenty of history about Brussels. There was a great explanation about Belgium chocolates, the history of Belgium chocolates and got to sample some in two different chocolate shops. Left the tour very full and a little bit merry.

My friend and I enjoyed the tour. The guide was careful to spend time talking to each person and involved everyone. He was a really nice guy. The chocolates were excellent. My only negative would be that the bulk (3 courses) of the food was served at the company headquarters. It could be my error having not read up on the tour enough. I thought that we would be walking and sampling food from different vendors for the whole tour not just part of it. However, the food and beer were of good quality. We were really lucky and had some great people on the tour with us and we ended up staying in the waffle shop after the guide had left. We had a really great time.

Hello David, thank you for your nice review. I want to clarify that the location where you went for lunch is a real restaurant. The reason is to have the lunch of three dishes done in 1 hour and 15 minutes, which would be impossible in another restaurant with other clients waiting to get served. And you forget to mention that the Brussels's waffle for dessert was done at Mokafe in the Royal Galleries.

Under impressive and not worth the cost. Food was not all that special. Not much of a history of the sites. Felt like he was dragging out the time but not covering much of the sites. The spot for muscles and meat balls was not a real restaurant and was very sterile. We were the only ones in the place.

Hello, indeed you were the only ones of the tour. And we wanted to cancel the tour, but we changed our mind and wanted to give you a nice experience of Belgian food, beer, chocolate and a Brussels'waffle. The place was a real restaurant.

We have been on multiple food tours in different cities around the world, but this one was not amongst the best. The food was good, although nothing extraordinary, but the guide did a poor job presenting the different tastings. At the beer tastings we got a lot of good and interesting information, so I think the guide was a bit more interested in beer than food. The tour also involved relatively long stretches of walking, during which little or no information were given. I would suggest that they put some more effort into giving fact and information about Brussels when walking between the sights and tastings. On the plus side, the portions were generous and it was plenty of food. All in all, a mediocre experience.

Love this tour! Our guide was humorous and knowledgeable about the area and food! She was a pleasure to be around and was accommodating to our needs. The food was fantastic! Definitely book this if you want to get a full course meal of Belgian cuisine. This tour itself could be a good half day trip for those looking to pop into Brussels for a quick stop. Not much of a beer drinker but it was nice trying all the different kinds of beers!
