  • Renzy is NOT located at Flowerpark Keukenhof itself and our tours do NOT give you access to the park. Our GPS audio tour will show you the tulip and flower production fields surrounding the Keukenhof Flowerpark, an area also known as the Flower Bulb Region
  • We are located within 850mtrs from the main entrance of flowerpark Keukenhof (a 20-minute walk to location Renzy) and easy accessible if you travel by public transport or car from Amsterdam, Schiphol Airport, Leiden and Hoofddorp
  • At least 3 years in possession of a driver's license, age from 21 years old
  • Please bring your passport or ID and driver's license
  • If you are not from Europe, North America, South America or Australia, please bring an international driver's license if you do not have a driver's license in English writing
  • If there is a second driver, make sure he/she also brings a passport or ID and driver's license
  • Deposit payment in advance of €150,- (credit card/pin & refund pin/cash)
  • The best time to visit the tulip fields in gorgeous bloom is from mid-April to early May. But it is and remains a natural product so we never know 100% sure when the tulip fields are in bloom.
  • In the Twizy you sit behind each other. There is enough space for 2 adults or 1 adult and a child
  • The Twizy is driven on the normal road, where you also drive a car
  • This is a private self-guided tour, only your group will participate
  • This tour will take place rain or shine, side windows can be placed
  • Most travelers can participate
  • Not recommended for travelers with mobility problems

A great way to enhance your visit to Keukenhof Gardens

After visiting Keukenhof gardens in the morning, my wife and I rented one of Renzy's electric cars and drove through the surrounding fields where tulips, daffodils and hyacinths are grown. This was a wonderful way to complete our day in Lisse and learn a little bit more about tulips. First, the cars are quiet and very fun to drive. I must warn you, though, that they cars are compact and may be a little uncomfortable for someone who is tall or overweight. The cars are equipped with a GPS system to help you navigate a pre-planned route through the fields and they are also equipped with an audio guide which provides an interesting overview of the history of the tulip industry. The route may be completed within approximately 30 minutes - which leaves plenty of time to stop for pictures or just to linger. I do not recommend this excursion as a substitute for Keukenhof as the variety of bulbs in the actual gardens is far superior. But, it is absolutely worth the price of the rental car, to see how the flower are grown and to get away from the crowds in the garden and simply enjoy mother nature.

Great way to experience the tulips

Really amazing way to get around the tulip fields as they are over a huge area. The car is pretty quick but very compact so quite difficult to fit 2 adults in and be comfortable which is something to consider. 2 hours wasn't enough time to stop everywhere we wanted to and we did feel rushed for time towards the end as you're driving on main roads so you can get stuck in traffic. However, it was a really great experience and I would definitely recommend it as we stopped at some amazing locations and had a lovely day.

This excursion was SO much fun. My 19 year old daughter and I went on this tour just the two of us. I was a little nervous because normally we travel with my husband, and without him there I would be the driver. I wondered how the car would handle and considered that I would be driving in an area that was brand new to me. There were no worries at all though. The car handles somewhere between a car and a golf cart. The GPS worked great, the 2 hours of allotted time were more than sufficient to see everything we wanted to see, stop along the way, stop off at the market to poke around, and get back in plenty of time and with plenty of battery charge to spare. As for the tour itself I can't say enough about it. Being able to drive among the flower fields of Holland was absolutely breathtaking, something we will never forget. And don't let me forget to mention the staff at Renzy were awesome. Super helpful and friendly. One thing I will mention is that the start point was a little difficult to find, only because the signage isn't great. But rest assured when you get to Meer en Duin 36 in Lisse, you are indeed at the correct address;) I cannot recommend this experience enough. We're looking forward to another on the beaches and dunes!

TULIPS GALORE
Dennis, was very helpful and accommodating. Two hours is not enough to go around the different tulip fields. Will do again if the chance come up. Highly recommended tour, but better to do in April to really see plenty of tulip fields. When we were there in May 5, a lot of the fields have cut their flowers already. But there were still a few to see. I can just imagine how beautiful it must be in April. And the 7-9 time slot I think will be nice as well with the sun setting already. Highly recommended tour. But dress properly as it is a tight fit inside and LISTEN WELL to the audio guide so you won’t get lost!😀

Next time I’d save the money and rent a bike to see the tulip fields
This was a fun tour but I think I would’ve preferred a bike or just doing the loop in my car. The electric vehicle sat two and the back seat was cramped and didn’t have great sight lines. Nothing wrong with this tour but I think it didn’t provide anything terribly unique that was worth the cost. Really nice guy checked us in and out and gave us clear instructions on what to do and where to go. Very easy way to check seeing the tiulip fields off your list.

First Springtime in Netherlands

I was so lucky to experience the tulip fields at their prime. This is my first spring in Netherlands and I wasn't sure how I'd accomplish this with Covid restrictions. The self guided tour was the perfect solution. It exceeded my expectations in every way. The tulips were beyond beautiful and the open design of the car allowed me to enjoy the many fragrences from the different flower. And driving the car was the bonus - it was very very fun.

fun way to visit the tulips fields

Great way to move around the tulips field. It was during Keukenhoff's busiest season, so traffic was hectic. This little car allows us to see tulips fields without worrying where to go - set GPS track . Easy to manage. The only bad thing is the person sitting in the back has to go in and out cramped space everytime we stopped to take a picture.

The Renzy car was easy to drive, had great audio directions, and absolutely beautiful tulips. Yes we were late in the season, but the two farms we stopped at had both an amazing array of tulips and then getting to walk through the tulip fields at the Tulip Barn was just amazing. It was great being able to pull off the road at any point and just see field after field of tulips!

As two tall/large adults, it is a little cramped in the back, but it was great staying close. Next time I might do two Renzys just for the extra legroom. No problem with an adult/child or adult/teen.

The staff was great, I felt that we had a good introduction to the vehicle, and had no issues with it!
