Our guide Marllouse was very good. She was punctual and went an extra leg to come and find us. Her tour was great & well explained and gave us enough time to go around.

They didn’t show up, said the host had a car accident, they did leave a message, but I didn’t have that phone with me, had my daughters phone. Supposed to get refund.

Our guide, Lucy, was so informative and friendly. She gave us an excellent overview of the city's history as well as an insight of contemporary life. We were a group of seven and it was great to have her to ourselves as so much more personal

Our walking tour of Utrecht was great! Our guide, Lucy, provided us the perfect balance of history, architecture, and culture during our 1.5-hour walk through the streets of Utrecht. Her personality shined and made our tour memorable.

Our tour guide Lucy was charming and helpful. She is very knowledgeable about Utrecht and the Netherlands. Her enthusiasm for her subject is clear, but she is happy to talk about the few less positive aspects too. She seems to be very experienced in delivering this tour, but never appeared to be just going through a routine. Indeed, we got into such interesting discussions that the tour ran over a time a little. The earpieces allowed us to hear her commentary without having to stay too close, and despite the sometimes loud background noise from people around us in the busier areas. Highly recommended for any visitor to Utrecht, to help you get under the skin of this fascinating city.

Lucy was a great tour guide, so informative and entertaining. We really enjoyed her stories and good sense of humour. Lots of interesting places to see along the way.

Overall very great experience! A nice story of history and culture that blend in with each other while walking past some of the iconic buildings and monuments. We visited the place as a couple with the parents of one of us (international). Even as a Dutch person there is still lots to learn and to relate during the story. 100% recommend to learn some things about the city of Utrecht and the history and culture of the Netherlands.

We really enjoyed the experience even with a 11 month kid. Many, many thanks to our lovely guide for your patience and all the knowledge shared. Utrecht is a hidden gem that deserves a private tour to love it even more.

We had a lovely time at the Aalsmeer flower auction, just because a super nice person on whatsapp from Tulip Day Tours gave us the info my girlfriend and I needed! I can only recommend Tulip Day Tours, they are super friendly and answer quite fast.

I was looking for an off the beaten path tour and came across Tulip Day Tours. From the moment I made the tour reservation, I just have to say that the service was awesome. The Dutch weather is unpredictable, and Marloes would email me few days beforehand informing me about the upcoming weather forecast and leave it to me to decide whether to proceed/postpone/cancel the trip as she wanted me to have the best experience on the island. We finally made it after 3 postponements (my choice) and boy, what an awesome trip! Corona measures were in place from the moment I was picked up - I got my temperature checked, hand sanitized and the mini van was installed with screens. Marloes also prepared a breakfast bag which I enjoyed on the way to the ferry. It was my first time on an e-bike and it is seriously the best way to explore the island. With Marloes guiding, I cycled through meadows with grazing sheep and cows, along the island coast and in the forest. We made pitstops in cute little villages and I also had a delicious pancake with local cheese and beer. Marloes would tell me fun facts about the island and also little things that might go unnoticed for visitors in the Netherlands. I had a great time on the island with Marloes. I rank this trip high on my travel experience. Truly I was so happy with the trip I did not hesitate to book their Giethoorn and Kayaking trip!

Marloes was a fantastic Tour guide! She not only knew a lot about the castle itself, but proactively offered local history and politics at the time to give context to everything I have as seeing. She was very willing to adapt the tour to what I wanted, and was all around an amazing guide. I highly reccomend her and this tour!

So let me start by saying that I'd rate this as a 10 if i could. Here is why: 1st off after i messed up and scheduled 2 tours for the same morning, Marloes the tour guide, without any hassle, willingly moved the day of the tour to the following day to accommodate me (and as a result I was the only client for her on that day so in essence i got a private tour). She was very friendly and sweet (she even brought me an apple in case i didn't have time for breakfast before the tour), picked me up where i was staying locally, extremely knowledgeable about the castle and local history, eager to answer any questions I had about any topic. Marloes even took me to a local pub after visiting the castle so that i could experience a traditional dutch pub along with a beverage and traditional dutch appetizer (on her!) and then on the way back into Amsterdam she drove me through a new community and explained how the Dutch had reclaimed the land (from the water) in this area a mere 15 years ago and now it is a thriving neighborhood. I really can't say enough great things about my overall tour experience and it's all thanks to Marloes. Oh and the castle is really cool and beautiful and nicely maintained for how old it is. I highly, HIGHLY recommend Tulip Day tours to anyone looking for a great experience while in AMS and NO I don't work for the company nor was I paid to write this review. My experience was just THAT GOOD!

Having been on a couple of run-of-the-mill lousy bus tours to tourist traps on previous visits to Amsterdam, I was looking for something more personable and different this time. Tulip Day Tours’ early morning tour to the Royal FloraHolland Flower Auction certainly did not disappoint! Marloes kept me fully informed and was totally professional with her communication in the run-up to the tour. She was a pleasant, friendly and charming host, whose commentary not only gave a real insight into the workings of the Flower Auction and the significance of the flower industry to the Netherlands, but also into Dutch culture itself. This tour was very well-run and as a very experienced traveller who has been on many tours throughout the world, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to all visitors to Amsterdam looking for a great and original experience led by a marvellous host. On my next trip to Amsterdam, I will definitely book myself a place on more of the Tulip Day Tours’ offerings. Simply the best!

Outstanding.Very nice scenery for photos. I am glad I visited this site.This site was part of my overall visit to Amsterdam,Gouda and de Haar Castle. All of Holland was impressive. I will visit again.
