Awful, awful, awful. The airport has outgrown its ability to cope. We landed somewhere that was a 15 minute taxiing ride to the actual airport. On departure, the queues for security and immigration were beyond belief. The terminal is well set out but far too crowded. It’s like an ants nest. Duty free shops have laughable prices. Wasn’t looking to buy M&Ms but couldn’t help noticing the special display. Buy 2 for only £18. Everything in that so called duty free shop is much much cheaper anywhere in the Uk. Used to be a pleasant experience but no longer.

Sam was excellent. This was a day of luxury. The previous day we took a large group tour with lots of walking so this was a welcomed treat. Sam picked us up at our hotel. Took us to Rotterdam, Delft and The Hague. We saw many sights and had good conversation with Sam. We went inside a Cube House, saw a pottery factory, stopped at the city center in Delft, the Peace Palace in The Hague and much more. I highly recommend this tour.

A Very enjoyable day travelling to Rotterdam, Delft and The Hague in a very clean, comfortable and well maintained vehicle. Sam our driver did an excellent job. He was very pleasant and informative and made sure we had a great day out. We have no hesitation in recommending him and this tour to anyone.

This is the worst airport I have been through since 2002! The plane could not be disembarked until some worker was available to "guide" passengers the 7metres to the door. Yes 7 metres. Yes we waited 20 minutes locked in the plane for this genius to turn up. Then we walked kilometres with not one travelator to get to the immigration hall. There was another genius stopping passengers from getting onto the down escalator into the hall. Helpfully there was a screen which advised that the time to processing was 20 to 30 minutes. Surely this could not be so.? True. At the bottom of the escalator was a sea of people in a queuing snake. And another screen which cheerfully advised that the waiting time was now 35 to 40 mins! Not true. It took 60 minutes or more. But wait. There were 16 e-self service booths of which only 4 were activated and ONLY for EU passengers. The rest of us were ushered to the 3 manned booths where over 300 passengers had to be processed. Phew. Finally baggage collection. Nope. We were so late that the luggage had been removed from the belt and the baggage hall was awash with bags all over the place. So 2 hours to get through Schipol Airport. BE WARNED. I WOULD RECOMMEND YOU ARRIVE IN EUROPE THROUGH SOMEWHERD ELSE ANYWHERE ELSE!

We selected Safar for transfer services in Amsterdam, based on the excellent references in TripAdvisor. We could not have made a better choice. They are the definition of the word outstanding. The initial step was a transfer form Schiphol airport to embark in a Cruise in Ijmuiden. Thanks to Lufthansa our trip from Frankfurt to Amsterdam was a nightmare. Flight cancelled, second flight via Vienna was strongly delayed and we did not get our bags in Amsterdam. We were in constant contact with Sam from Safar updating him. He waited for us in Schiphol, despite the huge delay. He took us to the hotel in Ijmuiden and again in the next morning took us to the airport to collect our bags and then again back to Ijmuiden to embark on Costa Cruise. Without the help from Sam, we do not know what could have happened to us. He deserves more than what we paid for the services. We will be always extremely thankful for his help, courtesy, and friendliness. We strongly recommend Safar Limousine Service to whomever needs transportation in the Amsterdam area.

We travelled to Schiphol Airport from Manchester as part of our journey to Groningen to stay with family. We had the journey all mapped out from flight times to car journey, and when our EasyJet flight from Manchester set off exactly on time and arrived fifteen minutes early we felt great. We knew there would be a wait at the car hire desk and had factored that in, but what we had not factored in was the 1 hour delay queuing to go through passport control! Awful organisation with just two desks open to compensate for the fact that the fast track machines were not working. Factor in a couple of rude and abrupt officials who were manning the queue and this made for a terrible experience. Needless to say, our planning was all for nothing and we missed the family meal. In complete contrast, when we flew home at the end of our holiday we landed at Manchester Airport, were off the plane, through passport control, bags collected and in a taxi in less than 20 minutes. Not a good experience.

We used Safar car service for our transportation to and from the airport. We also used them for transportation to and from the Rotterdam cruise terminal. The service was exceptional every time! We had several travel issues (late flights, lost luggage, lost items) Safar drivers were understanding and flexible. They were the one part of or trip that turned out well with every interaction. Gijs managed travel communications for us. He was always responsive and helpful. Sam, Sefa, and Gijs were the three drivers we had. All three were professional and managed the traffic well. They were also pleasant and easy to converse with. Using this service was the best decision of our vacation! Highly recommend!

The Most Lousy and Inefficient Airport. Took a 45 minute flight from London to Amsterdam and then waited in passport control line for close to two hours. 4 Agents for 1000’s of passengers. Line was 100’s of feet long and staff did not care at all. People in line were commenting they would never return to this airport. My family will not. Not a welcoming first impression for such a large touristy destination. Save some grief and try the train in to Amsterdam if coming to visit.

Sam is the best! Professional, attentive and he tailored the tour to me and my family’s needs. He went out of his way to take us to a restaurant we wanted for lunch and even built in a trip to Madurodam and was able to get us a discount. We must’ve saw 30 different sites between 4 cities. It was fantastic. He was knowledgeable about all of the Netherlands and a delight to travel with. My kids loved him! Would absolutely book another trip with Sam and Safar Limousine!

We had a relaxing tour! Sam, our driver and tour guide was knowledgeable and accommodating. We went to places we wanted to be. We highly recommend this private tour!
