Younes arrived right on time. He was very friendly and outgoing. Right away we started chatting about our love of travel. We went to see the beautiful windmills, watched clogs being made and then headed to the cheese farm. Tasting some amazing cheese. Younes recommended a great restaurant for my lunch in a small fishing village. During my tour he was not only my driver, guide but personal photographer. I never felt rush during my time and could take as much time as I like exploring. A wonderful morning spent.

The highlights for us were learning how wooden shoes are made and watching cows drop by the barn to be milked mechanically at the Henri Willig farm. Volendam is the perfect site for fresh seafood by the Markermeer. The best part of the tour was our driver, Younes, who literally steered us toward the most interesting parts of this tour. His insight on Amsterdam as we drove through the city to the countryside was most informative. He answered every question we asked about language, skating on the canals, the occupation during WWII, and local culture and its impact on some of the homes we saw etc. We mentioned an interest in sampling some Indonesian cuisine and he had a recommendation near our hotel. This is a great tour choice and don’t forget to ask for Younes.

Driver was very professional. Came in a Mercedes and suit. The clog shop was closed so I was a little disappointed. Not the drivers fault though. I feel it was a little over priced but really a good trip.

Wow! We booked this morning tour for 6 adults. Perfect van picked us up at the hotel ready with water and umbrellas. Our guide was fantastic - he shared information and clearly knew so much about each stop. We never felt rushed or confused. The windmills were so cool to see up close, clog making shop was so interesting, and the coastal town visit was perhaps our favorite as we walked through and made our way to the water before we were given time to do our own thing. I would absolutely recommend this private tour to any small group looking to avoid sightseeing with a group of strangers - it was truly a highlight of our trip.

Very good tour, we extended an hour. I probably would have looked inside all windmills if we had more time but got to see in one and also see how the shoes were made. We were happy to see the dairy farm and taste the cheese. The little city by the pier ‘Volendam’ was quaint and we enjoyed a lunch outside on such a beautiful day. Thanks for a wonderful day!!!

Driver was very friendly and knowledgeable! He was just perfect for our small family group! The time spent at each destination was right! We would highly recommend!

Singh was our driver, and he was efficient. He would accompany us every step at each stop, always just a few feet away. We drove in a standard black Mercedes van. During our trip to Volendam, he accompanied us to lunch and sat at our table, occasionally speaking but mostly on his phone. He is very conscientious about time and ensures not a minute is wasted, checking his watch often. Singh will walk you through each location, pointing out what you should look at, and then you leave. Singh will work well for you if you enjoy a constant companion concerned about efficiency and time.

My husband and I had a memorable private tour with Younes. From the moment we met him, his friendly and approachable demeanor made us feel right at home. Younes is knowledgeable about the Zaadam providing fascinating insights about Netherland’s windmills, various cheese and the wooden clogs. Younes has an eye to capture beautiful photos and now I can make a memorable album of our visit to Zaadam and Volendam.

Elias was our driver/guide. We were on a river cruise and he picked us up at the boat. This tour was more informative than the ones the boat offered. He drove us around the countryside. We saw the windmills, stopped at a dairy and sampled cheeses and stopped at a small fishing town and sampled their local beer. We saw how wooden shoes are made. Elias was very knowledgeable and entertaining at the same time. It was an amazing tour. I highly recommend it if you want to see more than just the city.

Even with a drizzle day, we saw wonderful views and some extraordinary friends of our guide Younes. It was the extra service with the flexibility of our suggestions that made a Memorial Day in our tour of Giethoorn.

Our tour guide was very good-easy to talk to and very interesting! We learned a lot on our tour and especially enjoyed the windmills.

Spent the day touring the countryside of Amsterdam with an amazing guide Eliza. He was knowledgeable, patient and took amazing pictures of our family of 4. We never felt rushed and he knew just how to avoid the crowds. Would definitely recommend this tour as we thoroughly enjoyed the day!

We have made a good choice to read the fantastic reviews here and take this tour. The driver arrived 5 minutes before our reserved time, the van was luxurious, clean and nice smelling. The ride to Zaanse Schans was smooth and fast. The driver was so nice and polite, he took pictures of us, showed us around, seated us to watch how the clogs are made just at the right time - just perfect. Then we got back into the van and visited the farm where tasty cheese is made, followed by a visit to a picturesque Volendam. All without any problems, safe and on time. This tour is well worth the money!

Our guide Elias was very personable, knowledgeable and took us to some places that the bigger tour buses were unable to go. He was a lot of fun. Enjoyed this experience very much!
