This was the most wonderful tour and so informative. Anna was beyond knowledgable, engaging, and an extraordinary speaker. She had us captivated from the moment she said hello and we all come off the tour with so much more knowledge and appreciation for the art we reviewed. I would highly recommend taking Anna's tour - especially if you dislike or hate art - she makes it interesting, it comes alive and you view it in a different manner. So, so well done. Kudos Anna!

Our guide Anna Nikolaeva was amazing! She did an excellent job of keeping in touch before our visit, was on time and so pleasant! She was incredibly Knowledgeable on all the Van Gogh paintings we saw and gave us so much information that we did not know about the paintings and art in general….techniques, things going on at different periods in time. So many great stories!! We all kept talking over dinner that night about all the information and stories she gave us! We all agreed it was the best tour! The tour was incredibly in depth and 2 1/2 hours long! We were kept moving and enthralled by all the information Anna presented to us ! Would highly recommend this tour!

Paula was incredible! I had an absolutely wonderful afternoon with her learning about the history of several of the art pieces inside the museum. She knew fascinating stories about the artists that made the works and the people that they would have been made for. She was friendly, knowledgable and a great companion to spend a few hours with inside the museum. I had originally planned to take this tour with my father, but when he bagged out with a headache, I went alone and that was a great decision. It might be one of the highlights from my whole trip. 10/10 would recommend. It is worth the money to splurge.

Irina was an amazing and patient guide. As someone not versed in art, she was very thorough and gave great context to the history of Van Gogh and how the works came to be.

We had an exceptional tour at the Van Gogh museum with Huibert. Our small group tour was both informational and interesting with all of his historical knowledge. With a small group, there was a lot of opportunity for two way conversation that provided perspective we would never had on our own. I would highly recommend Huibert Teekens.

Our tour ended up as a private tour so we had guide, Carola, all to ourselves. She was amazingly knowledgeable, gracious, and fun! We learned so much that we wouldn’t have picked up without her. The Museum itself has a fascinating history as the collection is from the Van Gogh family and descendants. Carola, as an anthropologist, added so much color to our experience regarding living conditions at the time, art trends, and brought Vincent to life for us. Although we don’t have time for the Riksmuseum on this trip, we will engage Carola again to take advantage of her deep knowledge. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!

Our sensational guide was Janet. She described the unfolding of the life of VVGogh while giving relevant examples through his changing painting styles and subjects. Janet’s highlighting of the Van Gogh family was also important to an understanding of the artist. Janet spoke to our level of knowledge and answered all questions. She was a terrific guide. We had a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Hanneke was delightful! She was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about these exhibits. Our tour was efficient and I believe we learned so much more information versus simply renting an audio set. She told a complete story around Van Gogh ‘s life something you never would have gotten on your own. 100% recommend this combo tour- and 200% recommend Hanneke!
