Merel was an exceptional tour guide for our experience touring the Van Gogh Museum. She did a fabulous job of weaving the story of Van Gogh's life from start to finish. I felt like I was listening to a book on tape as she described each significant painting and what it meant in terms of his life. It wasn't just art it was a story that came to life through art. I would HIGHLY recommend Merel. She is bright, articulate and passionate about her subject! Book her!!

We had the pleasure of spending two hours touring the Rijks Museum with Rolf - and highly recommend him as a guide. The museum is huge, and we spent extra time there afterwards, but Rolf really did give us a wonderfully thorough sense of history, art, and art history taking us through periods of time and culture - bringing to life the paintings and objects in the museum collection. Rolf also tailored his explanations to our interests and needs. He has studied a great deal - and also brings an i-pad with certain details of images to enhance the tour. Thank you Rolf!

My family and I had an amazing and informative experience at the museum with Merel. She is extremely informed and is very friendly and warm, making you feel comfortable as you walk through the massive museum. We all learned so much and saw some of the best art in the world! 10/10!

This was my second tour with Carl. He is an amazing local captain! We learned so much of the history of Amsterdam and enjoyed seeing the city from such a unique perspective. I would recommend doing this tour!

Rolf tailors the tour to your interests and questions. He tells you not only how and when the artworks were created, but also why. He was also caring and patient with my wife, who is presently experiencing back pain and find some of the walking and standing painful. Rolf's the best.

Rolf was fabulous, knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. I am not particularly into art - at least not before our experience with Rolf at the Van Gogh Museum. He was able to express his vast knowledge in a way that made the art and the life of Van Gogh seem to come alive. He is the best.

Tommie took care of all the details. We travelled by public transportation seamlessly through many parts of Amsterdam. He showed us so many interesting places that we would never have known to go. The historical detail and storytelling was very impressive. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone traveling to Amsterdam.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Marten. He gave us a curated history of Dutch history and power through the art in the museum. Marten was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. He spoke to the art and social history of the times. We highly recommend booking with Marten.

We had the pleasure of being guided around Amsterdam for 2,5 hours. Not enough to cover whole city obviously but Sebastian gave us a good overview. He picked us up at our hotel and was very knowledgable and pleasant so we had a very nice walk ending up (as requested) at a nice local pub in De Jordaan. Highly recommended and would definitely use him again.

Tour guide contacted 2 days prior and said she would not be able to make it. However it seems it was not actually “canceled” until a few hours before so no replacement guide could be found and we missed out on the experience.

Carl has lived here his whole life and knows the answer to any question you have. He renovated a mahogany boat built in 1915. It’s gorgeous! We went on 3 diff boats rides while in Amsterdam- 2 big tour boats and this private boat. The experience with Carl was great! Highly Recommend private boat!!

My son and I were visiting Amsterdam from Salt Lake City UT for the first time, and this was a fun and informative part of our experience there. Carl met us at the pick up spot and introduced us to our guide Scott. The tour was interesting, fun, and Scott delivered a lot of insight and information about Holland, the Dutch people and Amsterdam in general. Overall a great experience that I would highly recommend. The boat itself was clean and the customer service was spot on. The communication throughout the booking process was prompt and helpful.
