I booked this private boat tour back in May. Two days before the scheduled boat ride, they sent a message through Viator that they can't do the tour because it's more important for them to go watch a soccer match than to honor the booking. They basically said they can cancel anytime within 24 hours and told us to go try to find a last-minute boat tour elsewhere. Horrible customer service. "There is 100’s of other Amsterdam boat tours on Viator" - is what they texted us. Save yourself the trouble and don't book with this tour operator.

Booked the private champagne cruise for a mothers and daughters treat. We had such a great time with our captain, Brian, who took us along the canals. It was a leisurely, informative and fun trip. A memorable experience.

This was the highlight of our trip. We had so many drink and food options that were all included. The skipper was so knowledgeable and helpful and funny. We had the best time!

The single most memorable part of our trip to Amsterdam and the most quaint, elegant and impressive way to see the City! This is a must-do activity if you are able. My fiancé and I spent an amazing afternoon touring the canals on the vintage yacht, enjoying a gourmet lunch and champagne while listening to the history and anecdotes shared by the charismatic captain. Not only did we have an amazing day, but we left armed with restaurant and activity recommendations from the captain - which only improved the rest of our trip. Enjoy!!!!!!!

We had a wonderful two hour excursion with two friends and found it was just enough space for the four of us to enjoy views from the canals. We booked from 6:30 to 8:30 and then went to dinner after that. The cruise included snacks (fabulous cheese, strawberries and chocolate, and nuts) and there were some great choices for wine and cocktails as well. We would highly recommend this tour over the large tour boats where are you will be one of 40+ being crammed into long boats seemingly with no ability to move. Two of us like to take photographs and we both have the ability to take many great shots which I don’t think we would’ve been able to do on the larger canal boat cruise tours.

I can say that this was definitely a highlight of our trip. Captain Rienhard was excellent and knowledgeable. He went out of his way to make out trip memorable and we will be forever grateful! The boat was beautiful and the champagne was cold!!! I highly recommend booking with this company. Very classy and friendly service from start to finish. I will be booking again when we return. We were celebrating a special occasion, and this canal boat tour was an enchanting way to glide around Amsterdam. This wooden boat from them 1930s is really beautiful and impeccably maintained. It has an electric motor, so very quiet. 8 of us fit very comfortably, but the boat could handle more people, and a smaller group would also work well. Captain Reinhard was very accommodating, very pleasant, a good tour guide and made this such a special event. Snacks and drinks were perfect for the occasion. This was a laid back, relaxing, very special cruise. Highly highly recommended.

Wanted the opposite of a 'tour bus on the water' experience, and this was absolutely it! Reinhard greeted us at our hotel, and was our cultured, humourous, and agreeable Captain for our 2hr private salon boat tour of Amsterdam's canals. The conversation flowed as freely as the wine and snacks as Reinhard was at times informative and engaging, or otherwise quietly discreet when we wanted 'family' (picture) moments. The 1930's boat itself is polished, immaculate, and cozy, yet even has an appointment for 'rest' stops on a longer tour. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Our guide at We Bike Amsterdam recommended Reinhard for a private boat excursion on the canals, and he did not disappoint. We were on the Welmoed and the boat was perfect for our multi-generational family of 10. We had two small children, ages 2 and 4, and Reinhard had life jackets that fit them. Our tour lasted 1.5 hours and we rode on the small canals and the bigger Amstel River. Everyone, age 2 to 70, had a wonderful time.

We were a party of 5 (husband, self & 3 adult children) and we absolutely loved our private canal cruise!! It was a bit pricier than the typical group cruises but I am so glad we splurged. I had read reviews of others who had trouble finding the boat they were booked on so being picked up at the dock of our hotel was a fun, stress free experience. The Captain was great in communicating during the reservation process and even that evening to confirm pick up. We were picked up at 8:30pm which was perfect, still light out so we could see, and returning at 10 gave us the opportunity to see the city lit with lights as well. I'm not a fan of audio guides, we prefer a personal experience and like to ask questions so this was perfect for us. We brought our own champagne on board and there were Strawberries, chocolates and snacks waiting for us. Reinhard was a wonderful guide, very informative and I would highly recommend his cruise!!

My friends booked us a 90 minute private canal cruise with drinks for my hen do, and we had such a fantastic experience! The boat was very easy to find and in a good location, right near the cheese museum. The staff were prompt and friendly and our Captain, Beno, was brilliant fun. They provided plenty of prosecco, water, wine and soft drinks for us and we absolutely loved chilling on the boat whilst viewing the lovely scenery of Amsterdam from the canals. Overall it was a brilliant excursion and I wanted it to last longer! I would definitely recommend this company to provide a boat trip for you and will definitely be booking again on our return to Amsterdam! Thank you for a great experience!
