Excellent, reliable and professional drivers. We were picked up twice at Zurich airport international arrivals. Each time our driver had reached out to us by text as our plane landed and our phones turned on to the Swiss phone network. First class communication was very appreciated and relieved any anxiety. Both drivers: Mr. Daniel and Mr. Uri were personable, polite, friendly, comforting and drove carefully and swiftly. Highly recommend and would not hesitate to use them again

Top notch! As we were pulling into the Basel Hauptbahnhof, the driver called me to let me know where he was outside the station. After that, we picked up our bags and were met by our driver. What a way to go. Direct travel and baggage assistance made it a smooth transfer for us. Could not ask for more. No travel anxiety when they make sure you are taken care of away from home.

First of all, i would like to thank Mr Paul. He is incredibly good and very friendly. He made our day. Very informative and helpful. The trip was very good in crossing the countries. Different places & Language but its is so interesting to explore.

Phillips and Jeanie from AlpTransfer drove us from Interlocken to Montreux. When they picked us up from our Interlocken hotel, they offered us a route mostly via Autobahns which was the fastest route or taking a scenic route through Jaun Pass. We, of course, chose the route via Jaun Pass. The weather was perfect and the scenery was beautiful. The sun was out, the trees were near the peak of fall colors, and snow was visible on the mountain peaks. The trip could not have been more perfect. Alex made a couple of “picture stops” along the way which provided some memorable pictures for us. I have mentioned in other TripAdvisor reviews the quality of the AlpTransfer drivers. They are the best and AlpTransfer is highly recommended for your travel requirements in Switzerland.

Alex was our driver from Interlocken to Jungfraujoch and could not have been more helpful or informative. He clearly explained how the gondola worked and how to transfer at the Grindelwald Terminal. For our return trip, we met Alex at Lauterbrunnen who then gave us a walking tour of the village. It was a beautiful day and Alex was immensely helpful. Thank you Alex!

Eric was our driver today from Montreux to the Geneva airport. The pickup at our hotel was right on time and we arrived early at the airport despite the rain. Eric is an experienced, kind, and knowledgeable driver. All of our drivers for trip through Switzerland this past week have been excellent. AlpTransfer is highly recommended.

We booked a private tour for eight adults. The vehicle was too small for anyone to be comfortable. The driver could not be heard by anyone in the vehicle, except the people sitting next to him in the front seat no matter how many times we asked him to share what he was saying so the rest of us could hear he failed to do so Overall, the day was a great disappointment over priced and still we felt obligated to recognize at least the amount of time he spent with us and give him a very small gratuity. If anybody is thinking of doing this tour, they should consider getting a commercial eight passenger bus or van not the standard minivan Mercedes, which is miserably uncomfortable for the two adults or three adults that have to sit in the far back.

Kayleigh was our guide this morning for a two hour walking tour of Lucerne. As with all employees of AlpExcursions, she promptly met us at the designated location. Kayleigh’s walking tour was outstanding. We covered many of Lucerne’s historic landmarks and its old town area. Kayleigh is a Canadian who moved to Switzerland five of so years ago, but her knowledge of Lucerne was at the level of a native. She has a fun and energetic personality and it was a great pleasure to spend a couple of hours with her. This walking tour was our second of our trip to Switzerland. Both guides were provided by AlpExcursions which is highly recommended to all.

Our driver was early and waiting for us at our hotel in Lucerne to take us to the airport in Zurich. He was courteous, friendly, and very professional. The Mercedes was in perfect condition. I highly recommend this company!

AlpExcursion provided our driver on arrival from the Zurich Airport, the guide for our walking tour of Zurich, and our driver for the day. David, our walking tour guide was exceptional. He has an entertaining personality and was well trained for our tour. We had a 2-hour walking tour that provided an exceptional overview of Zurich city center. David is highly recommended to all. Alex was our driver today who picked us at the Dolder Grand Hotel for our meeting with David. Alex then took us a boat ride on Lake Zurich and then to the Adliswil-Felsensegg aerial cable car which provided wonderful panorama of Lake Zurich and the Zurich area. We also had an authentic and delicious Swiss lunch at the top of the cable ride. The Mercedes cars provided by AlpExcursions and all new and impressively maintained. AlpExcurion is highly recommended for your visit to Zurich.

We flew to Zürich from Kansas and Texas. Andrew was our driver for a special meeting with our Swiss relatives in Englisberg who lived and farmed the land our great great grandfather had before he immigrated to the US. He was very helpful and a wealth of information. Met us promptly at the airport. He helped us with some train pass uncertainties we had for the rest of our trip and directed us to people who could help us. He even stayed for lunch with us at our family’s home. He was delightful. The only regret we had was that we didn’t get his picture. Highly recommend!
