      Black cat at mounten
Count at least 30 minutes each way for the journey up and down from/to Engelberg with the Titlis cable car. At the top summit station, you may only need 2 hours to enjoy all activities, a bit more if the snow park is open.Dec 9, 2022 there was a cat at the to whitout a head and i did somthing to it.

      Good tour guide
Please don’t look for a big office. There is a shack by the side of the public bus stand. The staff at the office do their job and nothing more. As a tourist one would expect a warm welcome smile. But I guess they too have their days. The tour guide, although matter of fact, was informative and gave glimpses into the life of Swiss in Zurich. The trip could have been chartered better. There seemed to be a communication gap between the driver and the guide. Nevertheless we enjoyed the tour and had a memorable day.

Lots to improve. But who cares? There are plenty of tourists
The trip was conducted by Best of Switzerland. The staff were unfriendly. The point of first contact for a tour (not cheap) could have been more pleasant and welcoming. The bus was parked on the side of the road with no sign of the tour guide. When she arrived it was like a teacher had come o take students on a trip. There was no warmth. It was a job and no passion. The information was scanty. We were left to ourselves to figure out the way to the top. The crowd was literally stepping on each other’s toes. The ride to the mountain was a terrible experience with no room for personal space and everyone pushing you from behind. Please don’t choose to go here on a public holiday. The staff at the top were not helpful either.

      Only one afternoon in Zurich
We only had one afternoon in Zurich on our way to skiing. We are not typically a bus tour family, but this was a great way to get a fast tour of the city with limited time. Elizabeth and Ernesto were fantastic!

      Excellent Day Tour
What an awesome way to see Zurich and spend the day-especially on a Sunday. Rey friendly staff/tour guide. Bus ride was excellent way to see’s lot of the city with 3 separate stops to take pictures. The boat ride was beautiful but tough to get a seat especially inside when chilly out. The Lindt factory was so beautiful and the chocolate tasting was phenomenal!! Overall excellent tour.

Packed with sights, but relaxing and fun!
We had an amazing tour! Saw sights by coach, did the aerial cable, and even a ferry. Great mix of history and current facts about the city. The trip was nice and relaxing, even though it was packed with much to see! Views were breathtaking and there was plenty of time for pictures and enjoying coffee with a snack. Spectacular pictures of the Swiss Alps! Our tour guide was lovely and did a great job giving so much insight. My teenage girls would have loved this tour! Definitely worth it! 👍

      The Best!
This was a delightful tour filled with tons of information and wonderful energy by our tour host Rolf. There were many stops along the way including Lake Zurich, Dolder Grand Hotel, The Lindt Home of Chocolate, and a variety of stops along the way to discover city landmarks. Our guide had the perfect mix of history and fun facts about Zurich today, all touched with a hint of humour! The time flew by and by the end we had an excellent capture of Zurich. Purchasing tickets online was fast and easy, and finding the bus departure location was effortless. Thank you for providing this exceptional afternoon.

Like the Nike Slogan, Just do it!
After a few moments of panic at the ticket office because I booked the tour at 6:30am on the day of the tour and the agent could not confirm my reservation and they were close to bus capacity, I was cleared to go. Thank you Best of Switzerland Team❤️ From that point forward my experience was wonderful. The guides Roberto and WeiLi or Wally as Roberto sometimes called her, brought their knowledge, excitement, and energy to the 12 hour tour. Roberto provided the history background along the way, fun facts, and personal experiences, stories, and special recommendations as we went. WeiLi, with energy turbo charged by a single double espresso, whirled around us all day and personally assured everyone was enjoying the experience. The visual experience of the beautiful countryside and the majesty of the Schweizer Alpens was wonderful and easily worth the time and money. My thanks to my guides for the memories!!👍👍❤️

Great tour of Zurich! Elisabeth and Ernesto were terrific. Elisabeth did a nice job of being engaging and providing information at a nice pace. Learned a lot about the city and country. Excellent half day tour and definitely worth doing to get oriented with all the city has to offer.

      Perfect way to visit Jungfraujoch!
We visited Interlaken, Switzerland with a day trip to Jungfraujoch with the Best of Switzerland tours. This trip coincided with our twins Golden birthday and was a hassle free, no rush visit to Jungfraujoch. The tours conveniently started from Hohoweg 95 street and offered a comfortable bus ride to Grindelwald and had tickets and seat reservations ready on the Eiger Express and the cogwheel train and the return trains from Jungfraujoch to Lauterbrunnen. Our guides were very friendly and gave us just the right amount of information and described the sights while answering questions from our group. Overall a very pleasant experience, especially for those looking to travel without having to take care of every itty bitty detail!

Surpassed our expectations of how much we could see in 12 hours
Our guide, Fernando, was superb! The views were amazing, and he provided history and interesting facts along our journey. The bus stopped for photo opportunities. Each town was another breathtakingly beautiful stop. Bathroom breaks, stops for snacks, and shopping opportunities were plenty and not too long. The timeline was outlined and punctuality emphasized. Of course, Jungfraujoch with the Sphinx Observatory were the checks off my bucket list, but the journey to get there was amazing. I will add that this is a long day — 12 hours — and seemed to be a bit much for some small children in the group. Don’t miss this trip. We had only a couple days to see as much as possible, and this trip surpassed our expectations.

This tour was great we really enjoyed all of it, our guide was very informative and helpful the whole day.
The only downfall to the day was the bus driver who was quite grumpy. There was no food or drink on the bus and understandably got annoyed when he saw a family eating however the way he approached them was not on, he begun yelling at them on the bus in front of the others, even after the family said sorry he continued to go on. I understand that they aren’t allowed to eat but there are different and more professional ways to approach that situation especially in front of children!
The bus driver than begun confiscating people’s food and giving it back to them at the end of the tour, I just thought this was a bit too much and his attitude really changed the atmosphere at times.

Overall I would recommend this tour it was great, however some of their drivers may need some training in customer service and communication

Amazing tour, highly recommended. Tour guide Cristina is fantastic, very knowledgeable and talented with her 5 different speaking languages. We stopped in at Lucerne for an hour of free time, this was a nice touch after 1.5 hrs of being in the bus.

My partner and I paid the extra $$ for the snow experience, it was about an hour on the beginners section of the slope.
Skis and boots were supplied. The snow experience isn’t for anyone that has ski’ed before. It was good for us to get the hang of skiing, however this experience made it difficult for us to complete everything we wanted to do at Mt Titlis. We missed out on the glacier walk and nearly missed out on tubing. It was a long tour, starting out at 0930 hrs and returning to Zürich after 1900hrs. Time is limited, make the most of it. Definitely worth the money!

I recently went on this trip and here are the things that i liked:
I liked how there was coach pick and drop off, how there was a pit stop at luzern and we were able to walk around, live commentary by the tour guide and how nice all the staff was. it was lovely also how the coach was on time as well. Mount Titilus is a gorgeous place i recommend everyone to go there when in switzerland.

However here are some things i didnt like:
I didn’t like how late we left zurich. While i understand most coaches leave after 9:30 or later it didn’t feel as though we had much time at the actual mountain. we had about 4 hours which to put into perspective of the speed of the air lifts and how many activities there are to do on the mountain is not nearly enough. We got to titilus about 1:30/2 and had to leave at 5pm. I completely understand the mountain goes dark at 5pm so while that makes sense i think we should have reached there alot earlier. Given the tickets are pricy we should have been able to spend the whole day there. I felt quite rushed and hurried while at the mountain and wasn’t really able to experience it properly. Another thing i did not like at all was the tour guides disappeared and didn’t keep us together as a group at the top before letting us go. instructions of when to meet at the end and where to meet were very unclear so i was on edge the whole time during my visit. another thing i didn’t like at all was there was no registration done when we came back on the coach from luzern nor when we came down from the mountain. i think this is quite unsafe because had someone been left on the mountain, been left in luzern the tour operates would have no clue at all. i felt quite on edge when making my way back to the coach because i realised there was no extra measures put in place to ensure everyone was making their way back to the coach. i think these are small things that could be enhanced to make the experience so much more comfortable and better.

What a great tour! The scenery on the way up the mountains was absolutely breathtaking. Once we got to mount titlis we were able to do our own thing, in our own time which we really liked. I recommend taking either snow boots or hiking boots if wanting to walk around in the snow or they hire them for 10chf at level 4.
The only thing I didn’t like about the tour was as the tour was getting close to the end our guide told us twice that tips are appreciated and recommended! Hence we didn’t leave a tip as I do not think it is correct etiquette to ask.

The trip started on time, the instructions to join the tour were precise and helpful. We were a couple with two teenage boys and they really enjoyed the tour. The countryside was beautiful and the operator kept us informed of various points of interests and trivia about the areas we were passing through. They had a Chinese guide as well, and that seemed like a very considerate thing for the tour company to do, for the large group of Chinese tourists on board. We took a washroom and selfie break at the Astrid Chapel. Then, we stopped for an hour at Lucerne and enjoyed the local sights. The cable rides to the top of Mt. Titlis were super fun!! The views were FAB! We enjoyed a good hot meal at the restaurant at the top (and, the wifi!). The walkway at the top was closed due to bad weather but we didnt mind it so much since it was really windy and cold...! We also met SRK & Kajol at the top- in their DDLJ get-up! :-D
Our tour guide, a gentleman whose name, I've sadly forgotten now, was very witty and knowledgeable & helpful. Please convey my compliments to him (Bus 1, 22nd Dec 2019)
One special word of recommendation & appreciation for tour Guide Ms. Dulce Negerete, who was very helpful and made us very comfortable, though she wasn't on our bus! She is an asset to this Tour.
The trip back was faster since we bypassed Lucerne.
    Very much Value For Money.

The tour by Best of Switzerland to Lucerne and Mt Titlis was amazing and well organised. The tour guide Pedro was engaging and had a wonderful sense of subtle humour. He had lots of information to share and was making sure each person in the group got attention.

Only not so positive comment was Lucerne part of the tour where estimated time for the attractions from departure point was confusing. For example, the time to Lion Monument was given as 10 minutesbut took more than 15 minutes. For a stop over of 1 hour, it was bit tight and some from our group missed the Lion Monument and were disappointed. It would be a good idea to put estimated walking time and dotted directions on the map that was provided that would have saved time for non-German speakers. The map however, was clear and easy to follow.

All our trips on Best of Switzerland were luckily driven by Juan Carlos , an excellent driver and very steady driving in difficult terrain.

Despite being a very full double decker bus, the 2 your guides did an amazing job keeping track of everything and everyone. The bus was comfortable and spacious.
We got about 1 hour in Lucerne and then 2.5 hrs on Mt Titlis, not counting the lifts. The lifts take about 25 min going up and 30 min coming down. On Mt Titlis, that is just about enough time to do everything. For Lucerne though, 1 hour isn't enough to do the covered bridge and the Lion Monument since they are in different locations.

The weather was fine and very well organised. It was my first time booking with Best of Switzerland and had some apprehension, however, same was dissipated by our guide Ana who was knowledgeable and provided all the necessary information required for us to have a memorable time. She provided guidance and kept the group together which was around 60 persons and stick to the timetable and missed nothing. Had a great time in both Lucerne and Titlis and was amazing.

Credit also to the driver Carlos who has to responsibility for us to have a smooth ride and arrive to the different point of interest in time.

    Highly recommend

This day trip was one of the most memorable parts of our trip to Switzerland. It was lovely to leave the busy streets of Zurich and escape into more rural settings with beautiful mountains and clear blue water.

The lucerne part of the trip was very rushed and you get 45 minutes only, the tour guides recommended exploring lucerne but 45 minutes isnt really enough time to explore and they stressed frequently about not being late. So its an ok quick stop but thats really all there's time for, you might be disappointed if you're expecting to see more of Lucerne.

The coach was clean and comfortable and most of the tour guides were helpful. When you make it to Mount Titlis you get a really decent amount of time to ascend the mountain via the cable cars and then to explore the top. We had zero visibility, not the fault of the tour operator but it was quite disappointing to reach to top and see literally nothing of the surroundings. The views from the cable cars on the way up were stunning though.

Take plenty of water with you! You'll need it due to the altitude and both the tour operators and the on site cafe charge for it. The onsite cafe at the top of the mountain is very expensive, especially for water. We felt that for the cost of the tour, the tour providers could have provided at least a bottle of water for free.

Even without the views at the top, the experience was amazing and is not one we will forget!
