Check the weather app before booking
The trip was less excited than expected. There was not much to do in interlaken, but we were mainly interested in doing activities in Grinderwald. However due to the weather most of the activities were closed and the views were hazy so you couldn’t see much. I would recommend checking the weather app before booking this tour. If the weather is not good, it’s not totally worth the money.

      The best day in Switzerland
This was the best trip ever. Driver was awesome and Tourguide the best. We did the additional trip that used a cog wheel train to go high up on the mountain to the foot of one of the glaciers. The panoramic view can not be described, unforgetable! Highly recommend this tour Swiss Alps: Interlaken and Grindelwald. Traudi Heil

Worth the trip to the Top of Europe but Have Flexible Travel Plans
We arrived in Zurich on a Tuesday with a reservation for Thursday from Lucerne. We had allowed a buffer day in the event we had bad weather forecasted for the mountain top. By very early morning on Wednesday the weather forecast was looking terrible for Thursday at the mountain so we decided to move our reservation to Friday. With the TripAdvisor app it was very easy to reschedule given that it was more than 24 hours from our scheduled pickup in Lucerne. It was bad weather on Thursday but Friday was great weather. It was a good thing that we had planned an extra day in our schedule and the tour allowed rescheduling without penalty

      Scenic Heidiland and Liechtenstein tour
This was everything I had hoped for and more, it was very inclusive and informative and loved the rolling country side we explored and the towns along the way, the guide Walter was very professional and accommodating. Would highly recommend this tour to others. Best tour i have had.

      Great experience!
Wonderful experience! The full-day tour was packed with fun, breathtaking locations, and an amazing atmosphere. Each stop was well-planned, allowing us to truly enjoy the sights. The highlight was definitely our guide, who made the entire day even more enjoyable with his enthusiasm, knowledge, and sense of humor. He went above and beyond to ensure everyone was engaged and having a great time.

      Enjoyable day, don’t hesitate!
Although we went during a rainy day, we enjoyed so much. All thanks to our tour guide who delivered us plenty of information during the journey. Dario (the bus driver) made our day!

      Interlaken & Grindewald
This is self explore tour. Bus is ok. Guide said no eating inside the bus & also ask us to use bathroom in the station as no bathroom stop for 2 hrs whereas there is a bathroom inside the bus which we discover on our way back. Bus will drop you in Interlaken first. You have around 2 hrs to explore by yourself then bus will take you to Grindewald where you have around 3 to 3.5 hrs to explore the area by yourself. Guide will not give you more information. If ask, he will say I don’t know, you have paid only for bus not a guide. However, we had good time, as both Interlaken & Grindewald have breath taking views. It is worth to spend couple of nights there.

      Poor service
The tour was a good experience. Both the places covered are so beautiful. The only thing I didn’t like was the guide’s communication in English was a bit hard to understand. He was also missing half the time, as he went away with other group.

      Kid the worst tour guide
My tour guide was unbelievably intolerant. His name is Kid and his is a terrible representation of his country. He cant speak English and he ecoects people to look after themselves. Greyline don’t do anything about him, they just let him to continue to be awful to people. Worst experience in all my years of travel .

      WORST TOUR COMPANY!!!!!!!
THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! The guide, Kid was the rudest, curt and weird person I’ve ever met. Walks around the bus showing photos of himself dancing around like a badly dressed clown. The tour was ‘The Kid Show’ he wanted to be the centre of attention all day. His jokes were incredibly inappropriate and NOT funny! I was 3 minutes to the bus at Interlaken. The bus was gone. Can you imagine how that felt, being left in a foreign country by myself. I panicked and i was scared. I had NO idea what to do! The company don’t care and blamed me. I don’t care too much about missing most of the trip which cost so much money. This is about how I was treated. All these bad reviews about Kid and he’s still the same! Shame on you Grayline!! Spoilt my trip and many others. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!

Okay if you want Heidiland and Liechtenstein
Wanted an easy way to visit Liechtenstein so took this tour. For us Heidiland was waste of time other than a break in the country. The tour through Zurich was kinda good as our guide was quite knowledgeable. The time spent in Liechtenstein was a little too short (an hour) for what we wanted but it is what it is. If you want Heidiland and Liechtenstein then this trip is for you. If you only want to go to Liechtenstein then consider other options.

Traveled from the United States to Switzerland for the first time. Planned this particular tour in Zürich ahead of time. This tour took us to Germany to view the cuckoo clock manufacturing facility, and then to the Rhein Falls in the Black Forrest. Suzanne was our guide, and Armando our bus driver. The time allotted for the trip was perfect, and we stayed right on schedule with ample time to view the areas we visited. Suzanne was an amazing guide with lots of information all along the way. Each piece of information was very interesting and applicable. This was the best tour I have ever been on. We visited a cuckoo clock manufacturing facility, and the details given by the crafters was very impressive. Of course we ended up buying a cuckoo clock and having it shipped home. Afterword we went to the Rhein Falls which were absolutely stunning and we had plenty of time to view everything we wanted and have lunch. I would highly recommend tours with the gray line, and I will tell my friends to check them out if they come to Switzerland. I would give 10 stars.

Ramon our tour guide was great. Really interacted with tourists to make sure they all got their pictures taking . We had some of the group who didn't listen to him or have consideration of others. But Ramon made the tour great even with that. Great views

Overall, good tour to take. For Black Forest, we thought we would be walking in the Forest, but it was a tour of a town in Black Forest. So, that was slightly different than our expectation. But the German city was beautiful and it was the worth the visit. And we can see the Black Forest from the city. Tour gave you enough time to sit down and have a coffee or desert in many of outside cafés to enjoy the view and weather. One warning, some spots don’t accept credit cards. We waste ~15-20 min trying to get the cash from ATM, which kind of ruined our experience. The 2nd stop, Rhine Fall, was amazing!! Take the boat tour (~15 min). Our driver took closer to the fall (everyone got wet a bit), which was great!!! They however, need to start this little early. All the shops in the waterfall areas were closed, so just walking around the area is all we could do.

Great experience and was as advertised. The coach was really nice, clean. Beautiful drive up into the black Forrest of Germany. We were in Titisee for maybe 2 hours, just enough time for lunch and a walk thru town. We elected to pay 8 franc for the boat ride at Rhine falls and really enjoyed ourselves. If your looking for a casual excursion this is a good one

What a waste of money. Two hour trip into a German tourist trap. Directed to an approved restaurant and encouraged to buy watches. Guide knew little to nothing about the area and repeated themselves over and over. While this tour is not terribly expensive, it consumes seven hours of your day. This time would be better spent conducting your own tour elsewhere.

Our tour guide was a lovely man from South America, Raymond.

He was very kind, happy and had a bubbly personality which made our trip even more fun. Three cheers to Raymond!

The trip was perfectly timed. The bus had WiFi and AC, and also reclining seats.

Our hotel was right in front of the Zurich central bus station from where all tours leave, and this tour operator has an info cart right there. Our hotel was called Fred Walhalla.

We liked this tour so much we booked another with the same tour company upon our return to Mt. Titlis, however the other guide, an older gentleman with a German accent, was not as nice and had a patronising attitude and a sense of humor so dry it would put the desert to shame.

At any rate, recommend the tours with Raymond as a tour guide specially!

We enjoyed the scenic tour. We stopped at a sweet little town in the Black Forest for an authentic German lunch & great souvenir shopping. It is a fair amount of walking from the bus to the village. Some steep inclines. The cuckoo clock demonstration was ho-hum really, rushed. The Rhine Falls is something to behold! So powerful! We did not do the boat ride; we walked all the way around the falls to some overlooks that are very close to the falls. Beautiful pictures. Again, not entirely handicapped accessible, a fair bit of walking.

This was an awesome tour! It was easy to just get on the bus and see some awesome sights!

I only have two things I would have liked to change:

1.) It felt a little rushed. We only had about 75 minutes once we got to Titisee. Eating takes up at least 20 minutes. You also have to account for getting back to the meeting spot.

2.) I would have liked to be in the forest itself. You will only be in the town.
