Jungfraujoch Top of Europe Day Trip from Interlaken
$236.51
Overview
Enhance your experience of Jungfrau’s Alpine majesty on an exhilarating full-day excursion from Interlaken to the Top of Europe. With a professional guide, travel by luxury coach through spectacular Swiss scenery to the village of Grindelwald. Board a cogwheel train up the Jungfraujoch pass and arrive at Europe’s highest railway station, known as the 'Top of Europe'. Absorb magnificent panoramas of snow-capped Alpine spires from a height of 11,333 feet (3,454m); gaze at the jagged peak of Europe’s largest glacier; and explore a fairytale ice palace while enjoying illuminating commentary from your guide.
What to Expect
Depart from a centrally located pickup point in Interlaken and climb aboard a comfortable, climate-controlled coach destined for Grindelwald. Relax as you admire beautiful panoramas of Swiss countryside and listen to illuminating commentary from your guide.

On arrival in Grindelwald, board a cogwheel train and feel your excitement heighten as you ascend the Swiss Alps; marvel at the frozen witchery of the Eiger, Jungfrau and Mönch peaks along the way and then disembark at Europe’s highest railway station.

Gasp as you take in sweeping vistas of the icy landscape. From the Sphinx Observation Terrace, scour the horizon for the Aletsch Glacier, the longest glacier in Europe, and see if you can spot neighboring countries like France and Germany.

Heighten your exhilaration on a guided wander through the Ice Palace, a magical cave located within a glacier, and then return to the cogwheel train for the scenic descent to Grindelwald. Travel to your awaiting coach in Lauterbrunnen and reflect on your incredible day during the journey back to Interlaken.

Don't buy! Don't be stolen!

The guide (Marcel) very good. The views very good as well. The rest...a pice of s.... Overcrowded. Overcharged. Artificial. Ice Palace worthless. The restaurant overcharged. Besides, you are not allowed to picnic. A very very good landscaped spoiled beyond belief by massification and overload products....More

You’ll likely experience more snow and cold; there are places to stay warm. I would not take a 1 yr old; the kid MAJ struggle with not be able to pop his ears due to the pressure/elevation.....not a good idea
