Food quality is good and its very delicious. We tried Veg Thali and chole with Alu paratha… and we lived it.. Overall must visit if you are at Gstaad…

This is the worst restaurant .nobody should ever visit .If you actually want to waste and spoil your money it’s the best place.The quality of the food and the services of the staff are very bad.I have experienced it and i honestly don’t want you to face the same challenges. Especially for Indians explore more and Dont come here.Trust me you’ll ruin your trip. Thank you

This restaurant is located in the central touristic area of Gstaad, 5 mins walk from the train station. It was super packed for lunch at 2:00 PM. It has spacious tables & super yummy Indian food with good quantity. The TV played many Indian movie scenes & songs that were shot in Gstaad, which speaks for itself on the popularity of the town among Indians. We had to take our rental car out of the parking space within a certain duration as per the parking rules & the slow service at the restaurant was a bit annoying due to this situation. If there was no rush, we would have had a casual relaxed lunch. Highly recommend the place for a good Indian lunch :)

Warm and cozy food. We need a cup of tea with the rain out. Ambience 4, Service 3.5 as it took longer to get the food. Food 4 as it was fresh.

Wanting to eat Indian cuisine when we were in Saanen, we came across Mango Restaurant in Gstaad. It was just a 6 mins drive from Saanen. The server was friendly and gave us a table. We ordered some currys which were decent and some naan breads. Now, I have been to several good and bad Indian restaurants across the world, but I have never eaten naan bread so bad. It was cold, chewy and clearly did not taste fresh. On confronting the server, he mentioned that they did not have a tandoor oven and they make it elsewhere and just warm / cook them here in the restaurant. He also mentioned that they get several complains but do not take any action. We then ordered a paratha. Second Shock! It was basically a frozen Haldiram paratha (see image). The server even agreed that yes it was. No wonder it arrived within 2 minutes of ordering. What was disappointing is the fact that we did not come to an expensive restaurant like Mango to be given an atrocious Naan (35.40 franks worth for the table) and a frozen-supermarket paratha (3.90 franks worth). This bad experience overshadowed the currys which were decent. Mango clearly earns its name and reviews because of lack of competition in that region by other Indian restaurants. Please think twice before spending money as Indian food here is very expensive.

Having been to this marvellous and atmospheric Indian eatery before, it seemed an excellent choice for a family birthday celebration. How wrong I was. My telephoned reservation of a few days prior seemed a complete surprise, our table was not available nor ready and we waited over 25 minutes from entering the doors to finally sitting down. The place was littered with children sleeping on couch seats, playing loud games on their mobile devices and being children which is fine but not in a restaurant please. It felt like large groups had just come off a long-haul flight and were killing time. Fortunately, the food was still good BUT the thalis were not available for the time of day we were able to order but the rest was ok. Not enough staff in evidence until the end of the meal.

Decided to visit Mango after reading the good reviews online and being recommended by others. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and feels very warm and inviting. It is centrally located and just off the main high street in Gstaad. The staff were very nice and on hand to make recommendations for us. We are vegan and vegetarian and there were plenty of dishes to choose from. I would highly recommend the Kerala Coconut Curry and the Vegetarian Platter for a starter (it is enough for 2 to share). You have the option of picking how spicy you want your dish - this was a nice touch as we both can’t tolerate much heat. We also enjoyed the Vegetable Curry Bowl. It would have been even better if the option of having rice or a bread was included with any main course. We ordered rice, a plain Naan and a Paratha regardless. The Paratha was our favourite of the breads. We will definitely be visiting again.

Lovely food - but it takes forever for take away, be aware. No complaints on the food, it’s perfect both if you enjoy in the restaurant or takeaway. But orders by by phone if cumbersome and food is never ready on time!

Great Indian food, if you are Indian please specify that you are from India, as swiss people usually eat less spicy food.Great ambience and staff. As we told how we want what we want. We got what we want.

I have visited this restaurant several times and I must say from the moment you step in, you're greeted with warmth. The attention to detail in both presentation and taste is remarkable. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure your satisfaction. Every bite is a journey through exquisite flavors. A truly memorable dining destination. The owner Mr Satya personally takes care of each and every guest's. I would suggest this restaurant to all the people who visit Gstaad to go to this restaurant and have food. Thanks Mr Satya for the wonderful dosa u served us. And also thanks for that amazing ice cream.

We visited the place as it was near station and bakery. The staff behavior is not for Asian folks and the food was served in small portion like for kids

If you go to Switzerland DEFINITELY VISIT GSTAAD and if you visit GSTAAD DEFINITELY EXPERIENCE THE BOLLYWOOD TOUR Why? Because of the selection of places covered AND THE WAY SAHIL will show you around! If you plan to just go on a day trip to Gstaad, like we did, you simply cannot cover all the important locations on your own that too on foot! Sahil has planned the tour so beautifully that you will simply GO...(and) FALL IN LOVE!

I imagine the negative reviews were written when this town was heaving with jumped up skiers because in the more peaceful summer time this is a gorgeous place to eat. We had lunch and could not have been happier. The food was amazing and the staff were welcoming and friendly. It’s a nice atmosphere with strong nods to Bollywood movies, many of which were apparently filmed in this area. Excellent place.

We ordered vegetable burger and it was awesome however the service was terribly slow. I don't want to rate them average nor very good but unfortunately good as an option for rating is not available. Overall the food was very good but service time is definitely way too slow.

After a rainy and tiring day at Glacier 3000 we ate at Mango and were very happy with the taste and the quality of food. At a perfect location and perfect Bollywood setting, I would highly recommend Mango if you are visiting Glacier 3000
