About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- geoPG20 contributionsLucerne for 4 daysWe were in Lucerne for 4 days in late May/early June & it rained everyday, so we did not get to see the mountains except some glimpses when the clouds parted. We stayed at the Mandarin Oriental, one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever stayed in. The staff were all super friendly, helpful, positive & professional. The concierge was great & rescheduled our guided trip to Mt Pilatus to the day it was "less rainy" which while we did not see the mountains we did get to have a snowball fight. Being from FL, that was fun. The rides up on the gondolas & back down on the cogwheel train was exhilarating, all followed by a boat ride back to Lucerne via boat. I appreciated that we had a guide because his knowledge of the area, the town & the timing of the different modes of transportation made the trip easy. We made the most of the weather, went to museums & churches, explored the absolutely beautiful city, found great fondue, white asparagus, weiner schnitzel & aperol spritzers. It's an expensive city, but so safe & clean & friendly & seemed like everyone at hotel & restaurants spoke English. We would love to go back, & explore more of the country.Written June 12, 2024

The tour guide took us to places where I saw unique scenes of mountainous landscapes, perfect for taking holiday photos. Experiencing the world's steepest cogwheel railway, was a thrill. This day tour must not be missed if one is on a holiday in Switzerland.Written September 7, 2023
