- carrietI4041XX0 contributionsBest day in LucerneThis was amazing. We had a clear day so that helped. There are a few trails at the top of the mountain with great views. We brought a lunch to eat there, but there are restaurants, too. Personally, I would want to spend time exploring outside and not in a restaurant, though. The train back down the other side of the mountain was enjoyable with great views. Then, it finished with a boat ride with beautiful views. It is chilly on the mountain so bring layers.Written February 5, 2025
- jitt20250 contributionsThe tours of Titlis and Rehin fallsIt was short holidays for beautiful Switzerland and we had lots of fun. Especially I would like to recommend to tour guide Mr. Stefan and Ms.Gabi who was tour guide for Titlis . Regarding Ms. Gabi she is really amazing and good explainer.Even staff are too friendly. I would like thanks to whole team of The best travels of Switzerland. Jit xxx lots of love from Nepal🇳🇵Written February 5, 2025
- Nicksmith40 contributionsFabulous trip, well managed, city, lake and chocolate highlightsReally excellent 5 hour tour around the city, a 30 min boat trip to the Lindt factory and exhibition which was fabulous. Good value and fun tripWritten February 2, 2025
- caramellokoala0 contributionsA breathtaking experienceWhat a fabulous day. The weather really turned it on for all 71 of us. There were two outstanding guides on our bus and of course without the driver’s skills, we would not have arrived there and back safely. Carolla was the English speaking guide. It was such a magical experience and something we won’t forget in a hurry. Buy direct from Best of Switzerland Tours and save yourself some money.Written January 31, 2025
- Nityoooo0 contributionsZurich with a chocolate finaleI recently took the City with a cruise and a visit to the Lindt factory tour, and it was fantastic! Our guide, Daniel, was a gem—his knowledge and dry humor made the experience unforgettable. The tour's pace was perfect for a quick overview of Zurich, and I highly recommend it, especially if you value punctuality as much as I do! Because who doesn't love a well-timed chocolate break?Written January 30, 2025
- ginjerome0 contributionsExtraordinary one-of-a-kind experience worth the expenseJungfraujoch is everything it is said to be and more. There are tunnels that run under the observatory that give you a thorough understanding of what it took to create this amazing place. There are multiple restaurants, shopping, and the display on the history of the building of the cog rail make for a full day's joy. This is not an inexpensive experience, but as every review I read while talking myself into this trip said, it is entirely worth it. It is like nowhere else on earth. The view is truly almost unearthly. Our guides were excellent at communicating how to best enjoy this trip every step of the way. I'm an avid hobbyist photographer, and our guide kept clueing me in to which side of the train or which part of the cable car I would prefer to place myself in, and which direction I should face. I was concerned that I would have trouble with the altitude, but I didn't. I definitely knew I was breathing air thinner than I was used to, but I didn't have any difficulties.Written January 29, 2025
- 265marions0 contributionsTitlis & Lucerne adventureI did the tour through "GoGetYourGuide" which was a day trip Zurich: Engelbergm, Titlis and Lucerne Day Tour. The duration is 11 hours and our guide was informative and very helpful. We had a bus trip from Zurich with beautiful views along the way. The guide was our driver and very safe. He provided key places to visit in Lucerne. We visited the town of Engelberg, and took the rotating cable car to the Peak of Mount Titlis. There is an icecave which is amazing and part of the tour. The Cliff walk is a suspension bridge on the peak. It was a blizzard when our group was up at the summit so wear warm clothes. You can take a break and have lunch at the cafe at the top. they have a good selection of food and drinks. They also have sledding and tubing available which is very fun and I highly recommend it toward the end of your stay at Titlis. The sun did come out later while we were there but the clouds were there most of the day. It was still a lot of fun.Written January 28, 2025
- Z9234PNrosannar0 contributionsToo expensive if weather is bad.The tour was great with the company we went through. However, for the price it was quite expensive and then we couldn’t go to the top to look at the main features of the tour due to weather and there is no partial refund. Not even a complimentary coffee/drink from the Mt Titlus organisation. That was extremely disappointing. I would choose another mountain where it is cheaper for the same experience we ended up having.Written January 28, 2025

I'm so glad I did this tour! I wasn't going to go to Switzerland and not go up in the mountains! Groups doing the Jungfrau tour, Grindelwald tour and First tour were all on the same bus. We stopped first in Interlaken (about 40 minutes), which wasn't really necessary. It was just long enough to grab coffee and watch paragliders landing in the park. The directions from the guides were not entirely clear. First the Jungfrau participants got off the bus then we continued into Grindelwald and were "turned loose". I think because there was just 4 of us going up to Mount First, our guide accompanied us up from there and pointed out the activities that were open to us. Another participant on the tour joined me for a hike to the lake. The first part was most challenging (especially at that altitude) but we stopped to catch our breath and take pictures and it was well worth it. We had intended to do the mountain carts down (part-way) after our hike, but it had started raining by then. The flyer was closed because of weather. We had a good view of the glider on our way up and it didn't look worth the expense - not very long. We had been given our return train tickets so we returned to the Grindelwald train station on our own and back to Interlaken where we waited for the bus. I'm glad I did it, but note that it is not fully guided, if that is what you are looking for.

This tour mostly provides you with the transportation to get you to Grindelwald. We didn't buy the tickets or activities for Grindelwald with the tour as we were not sue how the weather would be that day. We had the Swiss travel pass we did get a 50% discount for activities. The views on top of Mt. First was breath-taking and looked like a postcard. We did the mountain go kart down the mountain, and it was one of my favorite experiences I have ever done. The town of Grindelwald is picturesque and I wish I stayed there overnight. I want to go back already!

We had the best time and a wonderful experience. The drive was lovely. We enjoyed the history given as we made our journey.
Lars was our tour guide and he was absolutely phenomenal!!! I can't say enough good things about him. We appreciated his pleasant demeanor, thorough communication and kindness. He truly went above and beyond. He took us to our excursion and showed us the train we would take back. It really reduced my anxiety about getting lost and being stranded. At one point, an older couple in the group but on a different excursion didn't follow instructions properly. He noticed they were following us and they missed their hotel check in. He picked up all their bags and escorted them to their destination. Wow!!
We highly recommend the glider, zip and go karts. Super fun. The wait for the zip was about an hour. Be mindful of your time.
The meeting location was inside the Starbucks. The instructions weren't clear about that.

This was a great experience to enjoy the mountain top filled with activities. I highly recommend going as early as possible...stop at the 3rd stop, one before the top of the peak to do all the activities first before you go up to the top of the mountain to enjoy the scenery. The restaurant at the top was delicious and the views were absolutely beautiful. Buy the tickets online as there is always a long line of people trying to purchase it at the door so you can skip that line and be one of the first to enjoy the activities.

Is there a way to avoid the long lines in August on these attractions once we arrive? I've read that some folks are stuck in line for over 2 hours ?
