Amazing trip. Babis our driver was wonderful. Annecy is beautiful. Wonderful town to spend a few hours in. Thank you Babis. Stop for bridge pictures was amazing.

It was a great way to spend a rainy afternoon. About 1:15 hour drive out to the countryside. The chocolate factory was a lot of fun-it was self guided and interactive. You have the opportunity to sample from chocolate fountains and there are samples of their products at the end. In the gift shop you can build and buy your own custom giant candybar. The kids on the tour loved that the most! Next on to the cheese factory a 15 or 20minute drive down the road. It was also self-guided and very interesting to me as a fan of cows and cheese. Samples are also part of this tour. It has a small cafe type dining area as part of the gift shop where you can sit and eat the fresh cheese you just purchased (beverages are also available) Next on to the pictuesque alpine village Apenzell. We had about an hour here to explore the town . Shop , grab a bite or sample the beer at the local microbrewery ocross from the parking lot from where the bus parked. From there another 1.5 hour or so drive back to Zurich. Our driver Tony was great and very informative. My only complaint is that it would have been nice to have 30 more minutes at each stop. Since the tours were selfguided and required a lot of reading to get the full story we had to pick and choose which things to spend time reading to get done in time.

This tour was cancelled the morning of the tour, with no explanation or direct message. Our cell number and email are available to tour providers. We only had two days to visit and this tour was our opportunity to gat a solid overview of Geneva. While we certainly understand that there are reasons why a tour may be cancelled short notice, how it was handled (No direct message, or apology, from the tour provider) is why we have an issue.

Weather on the day was ordinary with light showers the guide for the tour [Gabrielle ] was just so good he knew his facts and respected his clientele some who were a little slow. The tour was excellent taking in Bus to Annecy City bus tour, Little Train Tout, Lake Boat Tour, All of which was with guides. Snack and Drinks on the Boat. We enjoyed the Tour immensely and regarded the Tour as value for money

My wife and I did this tour from Geneva to Annecy on 29th September 2024 through Keytours (Switzerland). It did seem slightly pricey to us both, especially given it was a half day, but we booked it nonetheless. We departed Geneva at 9am and arrived at approx 9.45am. Our tour guide Gabriel was very happy and helpful for the duration of a journey both to and from Annecy. He was clearly very knowledgable, ensuring the journey was anything but boring or dull. Upon arrival, we stopped at the coach area next to the lake, and Gabriel invited us to an approx 30 mins tour in areas of interest in Annecy. We were then given around 2 hours free time for leisure. We decided to explore the market, and then settled on seating looking out at the stunning lake. I can understand why some reviews show unhappiness at the cost of this excursion, deeming it potentially a glorified transfer due to the short amount of time the ‘tour’ around Annecy takes. However if it was any longer, I feel we wouldn’t have had enough time to explore on our own and see the things we wanted to see. The price is a bit high, which prevents this review from being 5*. I think reducing the price by 10% to 20% or allowing an extra hour or two free time may take focus away from the cost and more on the beauty of Annecy. However, it is very touristy, and therefore you do have to pay tourist prices unfortunately. We departed at approx 1pm, arriving back in Geneva just short of an hour later. Overall, we are both happy with this trip, and would recommend anyone that is able to do it, does it - just accept the slightly high cost. It could be done cheaper, but this was easy and hassle-free.

The weather wasn’t cooperating but the tour was perfect. We were able to get a bit of everything and Babis was so fun! The best part was the small town of Gruyere. There were a number of shops and cafes. The train was slow so you could take it all in. What an amazing day.

So, I read a lot of negative reviews for this tour and I don't get it. This is a LARGE, double-deck bus tour and keeping everyone loosely organized is, I'm sure, not easy. However, we had no issues and this tour delivered everything it promised. Chamonix is incredibly touristy, and unless you're a hiker, a day trip from Geneva is probably adequate.

I would not use this tour company. We booked a half day trip to Chamonix from Geneva. The bus ride there was great, as was the Mer de Glace. The tour guide(Antoine) in the morning told us since we are only doing a half day tour to return to the Bus stop at 12:30 for the return bus to Geneva. The bus operator kept scanning our ticket and arguing with us that our return ticket is not until 6:15. He made us feel like second class passengers begging to get on the bus in front of everyone. He refused to call the back office until we insisted, and then he begrudgingly let us on the bus. The two of us couldn’t even sit next to each other because there were no more seats available together. Although we enjoyed the bus ride to get there, along with Antoine, the return bus operator ruined our experience. Do not book with this disorganized company unless you want to be made to feel like a second class passenger in front of everyone else on the bus.

My partner and I booked this trip, and while most of the day went smoothly, there was one unfortunate incident that left a bitter note on the experience. Right before boarding the train to visit the glacier, one of us realized we had lost our ticket. We informed the guide, and although we had already paid for it, we had to purchase a new one. This was understandable, as it was our fault. The problem came after that. The guide pointed us in the direction of the ticket counter, but after that, we were completely forgotten. We rejoined the end of the queue with our new ticket, but the train was full, and the group left without us. We missed the glacier visit because we didn’t feel confident enough to take the next train on our own, worried that no one would notice/care if we didn’t make it back in time for the last tour bus. The guide never checked on us, either before or after the train ride, and when we saw him later, he didn’t even seem to remember us. While this didn’t ruin the overall trip, it certainly left us feeling overlooked and less secure than we had expected. I feel that we would have been better off booking and planning everything on our own.

Was a breathtaking experience, our tour guide was Chris and was on spot with everything. You just need to check the weather before so you won't miss all the beautifull views.

We had the best time on this tour! Dine was our guide, and he was so happy and helpful and lovely! Make sure you do the Gold option with the fondue lunch and train though, otherwise you get stuck on the bus for a longer time. Was so worth it!

We had an excellent trip to Geneva, Switzerland. We were staying in Paris, France and decided to take a long weekend trip to Switzerland. We took the TGV Lyria train from Paris to Geneva. It was a beautiful ride. We then took a tour to Annecy (France). It is a beautiful little classical town with waterways and beautiful mountain views. They call it “The Venice of the Alps). It was 1.0 hours from Geneva (so you will travel back into France). They have markets in the street on Sundays. I purchased a few souvenirs to take back to the USA. The tour was called “Morning in Annecy” I highly recommend this trip if you are thinking of visited Paris. The countries are very close together. You will enjoy this little quaint town. All tour guys speak several languages.

I booked my very good client on this tour on August 10 out of Geneva. It cost her more than $800 for the client and her son. As I always contact my clients when they return from a trip....here is what she told me about this tour. Not good Keytours, SA "The day trip to hang glide had lots of issues. the actual activity was great and so much fun. We could have easily taken the train there for 1/4 of the $ and much less time. The driver was having us wait in a small town for hours while shuttling people to all different places. We didn’t have time to do specific things bc he told us to be back to leave but then had us wait another hour which was too late to go back and do what we wanted. We were not the only people angry. You should complain."

After another central cafe we were terrified lo boy this place redeems!! Scummy food cooked traditionally with goo ingredients- they let you flex. Plus price is awesome. Zero negatives

This is a 75 minute bus ride to chocolate factory and then 20 minute ride to cheese factory. Both places are interesting and worthwhile. We went on Sunday and did not go to city of Appenzell as the shops and businesses are closed on Sunday. I Recommend the experience but NOT on Sunday.
