Burn off your chocolate calories while learning about Geneva
This was absolutely fantastic. Vicki our guide was lovely and knowledgeable and fun! We not only learned a lot about the history of how chocolate came to Europe but got to sample from some of the best shops in Geneva. It was a wonderful way to learn about the history of Geneva while indulging. This is a walking tour so be prepared to walk. We loved it and highly recommend it.

Nadia makes learning history fun! She was clear, articulate and full of energy which kept our attention even with all the distracting beautiful secenery in Geneva. The facts shares have stayed with me and i am excited to share them with my family when i go home. Personally, nadia helped me feel comfortable and welcome after i felt a bit upset for personal reasons. This tour made my trip excellent. 5 stars and thank you for this wonderful opportunity!

Fun tour of Geneva’s best chocolate shops!
Loved the tour! Lilly Wonka was fun, engaging and so enthusiastic! Even when it started raining heavily she kept her energy and passion for the tour and made it enjoyable. She is a gem and a credit to the company! Tour itself was the perfect balance of being educational but fun! Chocolates were to die for and we had a fab time!

    Tasty, fun and informative!
Maria Teresa was an excellent guide. She knew as much about Geneva history (old town) as she knew about chocolate. Good humor and very compatible group.

    Nice, but cold.
The chocolates were great and Oscar our guide did a nice job. My only complaint was that we spent very little time indoors and it was quite cold.

    Paradise for chocolate lovers
I love chocolate, that's why this tour, but the best was still our tour guide Regina Furer, also she is a great Photographer . Thank God, the weather cooperated and we had sun, so we were able to take beautiful photos. Anyone , who is in Geneva and can spare 3 hours of time , simply has to do this tour!

    Happy guest!
Amazing tour and delightful chocolate. The tour was a delightful experience and Oscar did a great job at guiding us through the world of chocolate and exploring the heritage of the city and its role in modern chocolate. I learned a lot on this tour, largely due to Oscar’s excellent guidance. Can’t recommend this tour enough. Thank you!

    Chocolate in Geneva
We had a group of 7, 4 adults and 3 teens. Oscar was an awesome tour guide, friendly, kind, helpful and engaging. Not only do you sample a lot of chocolate but you see a lot of Geneva while walking and even take a quick boat ride on the lake. Highly recommend!

Interesting, delicious and a great way to find your bearings if new to Geneva
Despite the heavy rain we had a fabulous time. Lilly is very knowledgeable and great at presenting. She told us many interesting facts and the chocolate tasting added to the fun, especially the hot chocolate ! I would thoroughly recommend the tour and in particular Lilly.

    Geneva Chocolate Tour
MT (Maria Teresa) was a friendly knowledgeable tour guide. I believe we stopped at eight chocolatiers. The chocolate was delicious. We got an overview of the history of chocolate. MT also pointed out landmarks and spoke about them.

I was quite surprised when I learned I was the only one to join the tour, but I was glad they didn't cancel the tour. My guide, Celine, showed me around the city, told about the history of chocolate, and challenged my palate to recognize specific flavors. Also there is a little surprise where a "local custom" is performed. She also provided some nice little facts about Geneva and chocolate, which made the tour go by real fast. I definitely recommend going on the tour if you like chocolate and learn a bit about the city at the same time!

What a fun tour. It made me appreciate Geneva so much more--you learn a great deal about the history of the city, its relationship with chocolate, and so much. There is even a boatride. All the chocolates are amazing and the views of the city could not be beat. Was very lucky to have had Mike as our tourguide, he was so knowledgable and fun. I would definitely go on this tour again and would recommend it to anyone interested in trying delicious chocolates and learning about Geneva. 5 stars : )

Great tour! You'll learn about the history of the city of Geneva and get to know the city through its most symbolic food: chocolate. Perfect selection of shops and stops, the crème de la crème of Swiss chocolate!
Our guide Nadia did a great job at explaining us the history of the city without it being boring: good balance between historical facts and anecdotes that'll help you understand the actual cultural specificities of Geneva.
Overall, great experience! Thank you Nadia and Antonia!

This Tour is a great opportunity to visit the city while eating some delicious chocolate from fine chocolate artisans and discovering interesting facts and anecdotes from Geneva. I am a local and I confirm I discovered a few anecdotes I didn't know existed. Plus our guide, Noa, was amazing. Her dedication and passion was really appreciated by the group when she took us around the city. That is why I highly recommend this Tour.

I've done a lot of tours and this one stood out as particularly delightful. The itinerary had the perfect balance of eating really delicious and varied types of chocolate, learning about Geneva's history, seeing some lovely sights, walking around the city, and also having room for just talking as a group and laughing!

As others have pointed out, Noa is a natural story-teller and makes all the facts come alive. Perfect way to get to know Geneva as a visitor!!

It is worth the cost! Recommend doing this the first day or two of your stay in Geneva as guide will point out other places in the city and give recommendations!
Noa the guide was superb! She is very friendly and knowledgeable. Not only do you get to taste many amazing chocolates but she gave us an inclusive history of Geneva in a very fun and engaging way! Very personable.
My husband and I enjoyed this experience so much!

Right from the start Maria was very attentive to our arrival with smiles and interest. Her warm welcome to the group got the tour off to a great start. In moments we were enjoying our first bite of chocolate! Next we walked to a small park area and enjoyed a memorable chocolate beverage as she gave us an overview of chocolate’s origin complete with pictures of the coco plant and it’s beans. We taxied across the lake to the old town where Maria guided us all through the infamous chocolatiers and filled us with historic facts. Three hours seemed like 30 minutes! I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Geneva as not only do you get to enjoy chocolate but also a really nice walking tour of the old city. And if you are really lucky Maria will be your guide!

Sometimes, when you book a tour online, you have no idea what the quality will be. This tour was top shelf. All of the chocolate destinations were extremely high-quality expensive chocolate. The guide was absolutely fabulous and had a way of engaging each and every member of the tour from the youngest, to the oldest, remembering what they said, and making everyone feel special. By pointing out things she felt each individual would find interesting. She was smart, talented, funny, and full of wonderful stories about the history, as well as the details of the chocolate. And advice on how best to savor it. Our tour was 2:30 pm on December 26. Our guide was a female student from Fribourg studying International Relations. You could tell how much she enjoyed interacting with people from all over the world and making sure this was a highlight of their trip.

Tried to book the tour on Saturday afternoon and it appeared full so opted for Sunday. Violeta, the tour guide contacted me immediately by phone text and accommodated is with the Saturday group. We met at a centrally located point near our hotel and did a pretty long walk that went by quite fast as Violeta’s enthusiasm and knowledge was enjoyable and engaging.
We learned so much about chocolate throughout Swiss and Geneve’s culture. Historical events and tons of factoids of areas in the city and some of the chocolatiers in town. This tour is very detailed and very enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend it. Violeta is very knowledgeable but also very charismatic and passionate about chocolate. So you are in good hands with her. I absolutely recommend doing this tour even if you are not as crazy as her about chocolate. In fact, I’m not particularly crazy about the sweets but it’s impossible not to appreciate chocolate, the wonderful Swiss history surrounding it and Geneva itself. Well done, Violeta!
