Exciting tour! Really passionate and entertaining guide with great knowledge of Geneva and its chocolate history. You get to know the city in an interesting way by tasting the finest Swiss chocolates stopping by some of the best shops in Geneva. At the same time, the guide told us some fascinating stories about the history of Geneva while passing by some of the main buildings and monuments. Covid measures were also followed strictly, which made it the perfect afternoon activity. I would really recommend to do this tour (for all ages), as it is an amazingly exciting way of getting to know Geneva while tasting the very best of the Swiss chocolate market.

I've done a lot of tours and this one stood out as particularly delightful. The itinerary had the perfect balance of eating really delicious and varied types of chocolate, learning about Geneva's history, seeing some lovely sights, walking around the city, and also having room for just talking as a group and laughing!
As others have pointed out, Noa is a natural story-teller and makes all the facts come alive. Perfect way to get to know Geneva as a visitor!!

Absolutely loved it! Superb experience!
Our lovely guide, Margeaux, was fantastic! She was so attentive, knowledgeable and great story teller! I didn't even feel 3 hours passing by, she was always keeping us entertained, happy and well fed with delicious chocolate:) She even surprised with candles for my birthday and a lovely chocolate gift! I enjoyed that so much!
Be ready to experience chocolates in various shapes and forms ;), explore chocolate pâtisseries with special history and have lovely chocolate tastings.
Would recommend it to anyone who would like to try amazing chocolate desserts and know more about history of chocolate in the world and in Switzerland! I live around Geneva and even so I learned a lot about Geneva's history from the tour.
Thank you so much again for the superb tour and lovely birthday surprises!

What a fun tour. It made me appreciate Geneva so much more--you learn a great deal about the history of the city, its relationship with chocolate, and so much. There is even a boatride. All the chocolates are amazing and the views of the city could not be beat. Was very lucky to have had Mike as our tourguide, he was so knowledgable and fun. I would definitely go on this tour again and would recommend it to anyone interested in trying delicious chocolates and learning about Geneva. 5 stars : )

We had an absolutely lovely time on this tour with Noa! I live in Geneva, and I had a friend visiting, and what better way to spend your Saturday morning than wandering around Geneva eating chocolate and hearing tidbits about the history of the city? This tour had actually come recommended by word of mouth, but I wanted to do my due diligence looking at reviews. The excellent recommendations and reviews did not lead me astray! From the second we arrived at the meeting point, Noa had a huge smile on her face: she went above and beyond to get to know each of us (and remembered our names, where we were from, and tidbits about us that she used to personalize the tour, even beyond our chocolate preferences!). She was an incredible and actively engaging guide the entire 3+ hours — time flew by! I have lived in Geneva for months and had never heard some of stories she shared, and she shared them in such a way that they were memorable and connected to other pieces of the tour, other aspects of Swiss history, …and chocolate. Truly well woven together.
As for the chocolate, let me tell you: I have the biggest sweet tooth out of anyone I know. I live for this. I honestly was worried that the chocolate tour wouldn’t be enough to satiate my palette. In fact, I’m used to “making my own chocolate tour” so that I am sure to get enough. However, to my pleasant surprise, it actually was enough, and I felt quite fulfilled by the end. It helped that at some places, it wasn’t just chocolate pieces/truffles but we also got to try hot chocolate and a piece of chocolate cake. Also, at the last stop on the tour, we got to choose our own flavors to try, so there was a bit of a chance for personalization there too. At the previous places, Noa explained why we were trying each of the things we were trying, including some famous award-winning ones! So it was the best of both worlds. The locations to visit were clearly very well thought-out. Also, a few of the places gave a 10% discount if you bought from their shop, just for having been on this tour.
While I live in Geneva and was thus less excited about something like this, it was likely very cool for tourists to also take a little boat ride on the Lake Leman. And Noa shared some cool history about some of the tourist attractions or interesting eye-catchers/monuments around the city.
As a student, the tour was definitely a splurge, so I would say it was a lovely experience once, probably won’t be worth it for me to do it a second time but such a good option if it’s in your budget and want to explore Geneva through the medium of chocolate! So memorable and so glad to have done it!

This tour was worth every franc that it cost. Our tour guide was Noa and she was incredible. The stories she told were so detailed and told so expertly that you were engaged the entire time. She was so amazing because every single weird unrelated question that was asked of her she somehow knew the answer to. I didn't know how much history Geneva had or how much we would learn on the tour and that was certainly a bonus. Would definitely recommend if you don't know anything about Geneva and have a few hours to spare (it give you a very complete experience of Geneva in my mind. Also the chocolate doesn't hurt.

Tour guide Noa brought a lot of good energy to the tour. We learned about the history of chocolate and kinds of chocolate. And of course we ate a lot of chocolate. The tour also includes a city walking tour and Noa was great at pointing out the sights and explaining the significance of such sights. Also included was a water excursion across the river to get to the chocolate shops. It was a warm day, so it is good to carry a water bottle which you can refill from the fountains you pass by during the city tour. We visited about 5-6 different chocolate shops, and each was amazing. You may want to go back later or on a different day to buy chocolate because may be tough to walk and carry around a lot of product for a few hours. You also get 10% discount at most of the stores. We were in a group of 8 people which seems like an ideal #. Perhaps it is too cumbersome if there are more than 15. Overall, a great tour, and Noa is the best!

We had an amazing time with our guide Noa! She was energetic and knowledgeable, enthusiastically sharing facts about not only chocolate, but the history of Geneva overall! We visited a variety of amazing chocolatiers and got to try plenty of chocolate. She also helped recommend other great activities in the city and gave us the lay of the land. This was a fantastic introduction to the city and I can't recommend it or her enough!!

Hi Brendon!
Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a thoughtful review. :) It was a true pleasure for me to meet you and Sarah in Geneva, you guys were a lot of fun (I especially appreciated bonding over our borderline unhealthy attachment to our pets lol!). Would love to see you guys again, for another chocolate tour or not, anytime!
Big hug to you both,

This tour was amazing, but Noa is what really made it fantastic. She was thoughtful and engaging for all audiences and kept up her energy even after many chocolate stores making the entire tour feel easy and fun. We were surprised when 3 hours had already gone by! It was a great balance of history and chocolate with engaging stories that we were excited to bring home to our families (the chocolate cauldron was a huge win and we were lucky they were in stores when we were around)!

Highly recommend! Coming from Florida, having so much to explore, my husband and I weren’t sure which tour we should chose for one of our “free days”. We chose to sign up for this tour last minute, but thank goodness we did! This tour exceeded our expectations, as we just expected to taste different chocolates and see a little bit of the town. Our tour guide Noa, was absolutely amazing! She gave such a background of the Genevan city as well as the history of chocolate and history of each area we stopped in. She is extremely knowledgeable and anyone would be lucky to have her as a tour guide! We appreciated that she talked to us on a personal level rather than just as a tour guide. She went out of her way to make the tour as customized as possible. If we return, definitely doing this again just for the experience! Of course, the chocolate was phenomenal at each stop. do not hesitate!

The tour is about three hours long. Ours went a bit over that but we having such fun that we did not care. I do not remember the exact cost but felt it was reasonable for Geneva. And in the end, worth it. The website should tell you.

Hi,
do you also offer a walking food tour? Walking dinner?
We are looking for something like this for a group of 13 persons, and on a Monday evening. A difficult one, I know, but would it be possible to arrange something like this?
Many Thanks,

I have to kids, 2 and 5. We're planning to take a double stroller to Geneva since our kids might be randomly napping due to jetlag. Is this tour appropriate for kids that age? They both LOVE chocolate, if that helps. ;) And would it be an issue to bring a double stroller on the tour? Thanks!

There is a bit of walking and some of it in the old city is hilly. There also may be a few places where you have some stairs to negotiate though it's possible the guide can steer around them.
