Great short trip to Annecy. We were lucky it was last day of carnival. Pretty place with the canals. Beautiful scenery on journey there and back. Lots of places to eat. Would have been nice to enter the international park but due to it being last day of carnival you needed to purchase a pass.

Had a nice bus ride there with the guide Gabriel giving us information about our destination and other things relevant. Once there he took us to a few highlights and explained the history of the town and the region.
After that we strolled around and just enjoyed the scenery. It's such a little gem of a town, just gorgeous. Plenty of time to look around before it was time to return.
In all it was a very nice trip out and I'd recommend it to anyone.

Visited Annecy on a cold, crisp but sunny January day. Wow, was it beautiful. Rustic buildings, quaint shops, restaurants, cafes and chocolate shops. The lake is stunning with a view of towering mountains. We took the half day trip with Sky tours from Geneva and the tour guide was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and friendly. The coach drive there had some lovely views and was too long. Annecy is simply stunning. Would definitely recommend this trip for a laid back, lazy half day sightseeing.

We had a great weather in the day so we were very lucky. The drive was about an hour and the tour guide kept talking and chatting about why Genève is a beautiful city, not a town or villege. He has a sense of humor but if the talk has more information or history about the Cities or country that may be more helpful. Annecy is a small and beautiful place and honestly the value of joining the tour is more for the transport. Free time at Annecy was only 2 hours. I think it would be much better if the time can be longer at Annecy. But later we realize that the bus driver and tour guide need to rush back to Genève because they have another tour to take. I can only say Keytour travel is maximizing too much their staff. There is a Flexibus from Genève to Annecy. I wish I knew this earlier to save the money for local tour.

Gabriel was my tour guide, he repeated the same things over and over again and his non stop talking on the bus gave me a headache.
It was carnival in Annsey, and the driver had issues where to put the van when we got there. They should have been prepared!
The worst part was coming back. The driver had a call before we went on the highway and while driving he picked the call up. Minutes later his phone kept ringing and ringing and at this point we were on the highway the driver picked up the call. He was talking in his mobile while on the highway and he had all of us in the van. Extremely irresponsible!
The cost of this tour is too high for what you get. Not worth the cash.

Good morning, We are sorry to read your review. If you prefer to travel in silence, maybe it's better to take a public bus and not a guided tour. The guide did a history degree and the point of the tour is to have explanations. Whenever there is an event, there is special parking for the bus which is very organized. You got is much faster than on a public transport actually because there is special klines for touristic buses. The carnival is the most visited attraction in Annecy. And of course, famous event brings more people to the town. Have a nice holiday

It was a great tour! We started at 9 am with an easy drive to Annecy. Our guide Yolanda was attentive all the time explaining all kind of things about the area. We then walked around the old town and visited the market. It was crowded but they had plenty of delicious food, including local cheese. Afterwards, we had enough free time to walk around the river and the lake. Annecy is a beautiful town!

We reserved our seats online two days prior. The meeting point is at the Geneva Bus Station - walk downhill towards the lake from the train station-easy 3-5 minute walk . If you arrive at the train station with time to spare - I would spend my time there rather than at the bus station, enjoy a pastry and a coffee (and restrooms!) before your tour.
The kiosk you meet at is really just a sign next to the bus station. Our guide was Maggie and our driver was Isabella. Maggie is very knowledgeable about the entire area. Short one hour ride on a comfortable bus to Annecy (Isabella was a great driver). The town itself is like taking a step back in time, beautiful! The walking tour itself was about 45 minutes - but we did get separated from the group in the market...which was fine with us! The market is amazing - have lots of euro coins in your pocket!. We bought a giant sandwich for 4.90 and some beverages (@5.00) and enjoyed a lunch in the sun at the park on the lake. After our lunch we headed back to town to walk around a bit, enjoy a gelato, picked up some cheese, meats and wine to bring back to Geneva for dinner. We arrived back in Geneva at about 1:45pm. It was a great 1/2 day excursion. Be sure to bring your passport - it wasn't mentioned on the confirmation but you may need it (and they do ask if you have it with you when you arrive at tour) since you will be travelling into France...and back.

We went on the morning tour meeting at Geneva Bus Station departing promptly at 9.00am. It was a lovely day out, Annecy is so pretty and is a step back in time. Some parts definitely reminded me of Venice in Italy. The only let down I'm afraid was our guide Gabrielle. He went on and on and on.......there was basically no stopping him! In my opinion his commentary should be more informative and interesting points rather them him waffling on non stop. Don't let this put you offf though its still worth a visit ;-)

With little much to do in Geneva on a Saturday with the UN closed, this is a very good excursion not to be missed. However our tour guide, Gabriel, could be more effective if he had scripted his speech, it was obvious his off the cuff remarks were repetitive and even annoying to many. Our group of four just left the group early to explore on our own.

Annecy is a lovely town on a beautiful lake that is worth visiting. It is called the Venice of the Alps because of the many canals running criss cross through the town. The primary value of this excursion that we booked was access to a bus to take us there and back. For 59 Swiss francs, per person, that seemed high for a short bus ride (50 minutes) with no other amenities. I definitely recommend a trip here, but I would suggest looking for a less expensive mode of transport. The other benefit, is the additional time you get to spend in the town. We barely had 2 hours before we had to get back on the bus.
