I highly advise this tour. Susan knows Perugia so well and my group really enjoyed all the places we went to. You sample everything from pastry to desert and of course vino! As you walk through the city you are given a history lesson as well. I will recommend this tour to all of my clients.

Rosie was an absolute delight! She was knowledgable and very personable. The tour was a little pricey, but it was with every penny! At each stop we had delicious food, and Rosie was able to give us a mountain of information in between each stop. The time flew by, and I really hope everyone has the chance to take a tour with Rosie!

Truly a fun and educational experience. We were guided around the city by Susan, who explained the culture and history behind the food and wine of Perugia and Umbria with humor and insight. We experienced a variety of eating and drinking establishments ,each one a piece of the food picture of Umbria. Bravo Susan. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed a lovely tour with Susan today. We're staying about 30 mins outside of Perugia and wanted to see the city without necessarily hitting every tourist spot in town. We spent 4 hours eating and drinking our way round town with just the right amount of history and architecture thrown in too. The time we spent felt laid back but we were never left waiting or bored and we covered some ground (7,000 steps, not that I'm counting). We were made to feel at home at every stop by the proprietors, all of whom were proud of what they served and were eager to impress. We felt like we were let in to the best secrets. Susan knows everyone! If we were staying in Perugia itself, I feel like this tour would have set us up for a cracking few days of eating and drinking. I would return to every place we stopped at. We had a limited time in Perugia and would never ever have learned or found all the secret eateries that Susan took us too. It was information and interesting. There was a great selection of food and a little wine/beer also. We never stayed too long anywhere-which we liked since we got to see all of Perugia. We had the most amazing afternoon with Susan. She was informative, interesting and full of passion for her adopted city and it's food and wine culture. We ate our way through the most interesting streets in Perugia, meeting chefs, waiters, and breathing the stories of the City and what life is like here. We would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Perugia and I plan to book my parents in when they are here in May. We learnt so much about the amazingly under-estimated Umbrian food and wine culture, at divine food and were swept up in the history of this amazing city. Don't miss this.

This culinary tour with Susan is a very unique experience, please do yourself a favour and book this tour when you are planning on visiting Perugia - or even when not, it is so worth it!!!! I loved all the little food stops with typical authentic Italian or better Umbrian specialities while we learned about Perugia and its sites. My personal favorite was the quaint restaurant where they served us truffle pasta. Susan is an awesome guide, a great character and fun to listen to with all her stories. Definitely highly recommended!!!!

Anyone visiting the Perugia area the Foodie Walking Tour of Perugia is a must! Susan is an excellent tour guide of her beloved city. The foodie stops are chosen with care representing Susan's Perugia. Susan has special relationships with the shop owners and the tour participants are the lucky ones that benefit. Susan also provides historical commentary that is interesting but not too lengthy. We experienced a perfect day in Perugia!

We could not recommend Sue's tour highly enough. The food was incredible - quintessentially Perguian and the choice of stops well though out and restaurant/shop owners were very hospitable. A very well thought out itinerary - even in the sweltering August heat the walk was pleasurable with many stops to rest and hydrate. Delicious goodies were available for purchase but no pressure to buy. Sue's foodie knowledge combined with her understanding of Italian culture made for a rich experience. The truffle pasta and pistachio gelato deserve mentions! Oh and the prosciutto!

A fantastic day with Susan! Not just wonderful food and wine, but culture and history too! All presented in a warm and personable way :) I would highly recommend not to miss this!

We met outside our first point to visit and Susan (our guide)handled introductions (there were 2 couples). From there on in we had a great time. A relaxed stroll around Perugia sampling local food and wine in different restaurants and shops. If you go on this don't have breakfast- you will have plenty to eat- all of it local, fresh and tasty. Susan was not only informative about the food and wine but also explained about different parts of the city and its history. .

This tour is fantastic! You gain a new perspective of the beautiful city center while getting fed by the best restaurants in Perugia. The woman running the tour really knows her information which makes it even better. You also get a sense of community on the tour and the welcoming nature in Perugia.

Susan gave us the best tour of Perugian restaurants, complete with wine and Perugian craft beer. Her knowledge of the local cuisine is great and her friendliness makes for a fabulous experience! I'd recommend it highly and hope to come again!
