      Excellent wine, food and guide
Picked up by Giulia at the Porto Nuovo and taken first to the winery for an interesting tour and introduction to the family. We then backtracked to Tili's fantastic tasting centre which has a enviable outlook over the valley. We had 5 wines along with some very tasty snacks, several were varieties we hadn't tried before. Finally had some incredible balsamic vinegar, just tiny amounts transforming the accompanying food. Altogether a wonderful tour with Giulia being an excellent host.

      Great afternoon destination!
A beautiful location with great wines, great food and a spectacular view. The family that runs it is delightful, knowledgeable and informative. They will ship their wines home for you at a very reasonable price. They even e-mailed a family cookbook after our visit, which I have already used. Highly recommend.

      Great, nice, friendly, educational
I recommend it to every wine lover... Even though I mixed up the tasting dates, they at Tili Vini immediately adapted and had friendly answers to all our questions. They took time for us. The wines are excellent, I think I found a new favorite... David

Wonderful wine tasting with great appetizers.
Beautiful day. Wonderful view. Very pleasant and knowledgeable staff. Wine was amazing and each one with unique character (I bought way too much to send home). English was outstanding. Had to drive 3-5 minutes away for the winery tour which was also very interesting. They served heavy appetizers that were quite tasty. We also tasted their balsamic vinegar.

Unforgetable cooking class in the hills of Umbria
We have enjoyed Tili wines for over 25 years, and were very happy to do a cooking class and wine tasting at their "21" venue. 9 of us learned how to make pasta, eggplant parmigiana, biscotti and meatballs. once the class was finished, we ate the fruits of our labors on the patio at Tili accompanied by their amazing organic wines. Maria and her daughter Annalaura were such great hosts, and we thoroughly enjoyed the time spent at Tili Vini. Thank you Maria, Pietro, Annnalaura and Marco for an unforgettable day.

      An amazing experience!
This was one of our favorite activities during our trip to Italy- from the moment Giulia picked us up, we were treated like family. She gave a great tour of the wine-making facilities, then brought us to the tasting room with the most STUNNING views. The wine and food pairings were excellent and both Giulia and Maria were so welcoming and friendly. We had a fantastic experience & highly recommend this to anyone in the area!

      Wonderful experience all around.
It was a truly wonderful lunch. We tasted several (I think 5) wines and had a scrumptious 4 course lunch…antipasti, freshly made pasta with truffles picked that morning, the most delicious roasted eggplant Parmesan and ended with an exquisite panna cotta with fresh fruit. Best meal we had in Italy so far! After ordering some of their wine to ship home, we added both their olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Bellisimo!

      Exceeded expectations
Wonderful Tour. Our guide, Giulia, was knowledgeable , warm and a great host for showing us around and explaining various aspects of wine making and olive oil production at this winery. Afterward we had a very fine tasting of wines from the vineyard paired w/ delicious buschetta. The whole event exceeded our expectations.

      You’ll love this tour!!
Annalaura provided a most exceptional tour of the organic winery her family has tended for hundreds of years. We learned a lot about the process and the benefits of the small-scale, organic vineyard thay produces high quality wine. We can attest to that having tasted about 6 different wines at the beautiful location overlooking the Umbrian landscape. Annalaura’s good humor, affability and passion for the wine added to the overall enjoyment of this tour. A must-do while visiting the Assisi area!

Highly recommend this educational and fun tour!
We absolutely loved the tour and will tell all our friends! We started on the farm and learned all about the careful, organic winemaking process. How impressive this family has been tending the land and winery for hundreds of years. Then we drove to a gorgeous setting for the wine tasting. It was educational, fun, personal, delicious! We look forward to receiving Tili organic wine in a few weeks. Thank you for a memorable afternoon!

      Organic wine tour & tasting.
I booked this tour & tasting for my husband and I. It may be one of the highlights of our trip so far, and arguably our favorite tasting so far of our trip! There were so many different types of wine at the tasting (and we were pleasantly surprised to have rose, white and red wine). The pairings of food were plentiful and delicious. Our guide was very personable, sweet and funny. She was engaging, as well. We also enjoyed meeting other travelers and just had a wonderful experience overall. I would highly recommend this experience if you’re in Umbria!

Always go for the Tili experiance. I was amazing
When we arrived at the Tili Winery, we were welcomed graciously. the owner sat with us and explained everything there is to know about winemaking. Climate change has a large impact on winemaking. The wines were delicious, and the snacks too. after our tasting, we bought a couple of extraordinary wines which will be shipped to our home in Canada. The owner's daughter was delightful. Annalaura took us to the Production facility 1 kilometre away and gave us a private tour. Simply amazing. My brother-in-law had and I amazing time and I Recommend this tour to anybody at any time.

We did a combination of olive oil tasting and wine tasting. We started with a tour of the olive tree grove, and then learned about how the olive oil is made. We sampled both their olive oil and four of their wines. All were amazing! It was a wonderful experience, one which we would highly recommend.

We had a lovely time with Maria and Annalaura. We toured the olive groves and learned how olive oil was made, and then tasted different oils and wines. The property is lovely, and the products are delicious — their oil and wine were the only things I shipped home out of all the tastings and tours we did.

First of all, I can not stress enough the fact that I had never taste it or seen an olive oil as the one from Tilivini, I was speechless about it, I would never buy any other olive oil 😁
Ok this place it’s amazing, all the people there are wonderful and so caring, I mean Maria and Ana Laura are so nice and funny, they also took the time to take me around and explained everything about the process of the olive oil, plus I had an option about watching a video, which I loved and was very interesting.
After that the oil tasting, wow this was a first for me, no one had ever made me taste an olive oil and on top of that explained to you and teach you how to taste it and identify the best oil, that was an experience.
My visit to Tilivini exceeded my expectations.
I definitely bought a couple olive oils ( with out putting them in my carry on luggage 😄 ) I mean we all know about that and wouldn’t ask tilivini winery to make them smaller, the sizes they have are perfect, and of course going to order more from home, I did also bought some wine and their delicious balsamic wow this winery blew me away.
I definitely recommended everyone to visit Tilivini if you’re in Italy or visit their website and buy some of their products, you won’t regret it!

We arrived for the tasting, the first thing we did was watch a 40 minute video documenting how the olive oil is made. It was very interesting and informative, but the description of the event does say we would visit the olive groves, and while you could see the trees from the building where the tasting was, the whole event took place in the tasting building. We then tasted the 2018 bottling of the oil made on the farm, and compared to a mass produced super market brand. We were offered a snack including a spelt grain salad made from the spelt grown on location, all very good. We also got to taste the wines being produced. Overall we enjoyed the experience and had a kind generous host. We would've liked to see more of the facilities/groves but that wasn't included so just be aware before you go! Also, we did buy a few small tins of oil but sadly they were confiscated at the airport for being too large for our carry-on luggage. Would've loved some 100mL tins because we could've taken those through! Oh well, we will miss the flavor until we return.

Dear Melissa We want to thank you for booking our tasting but I'm sorry that the tour don't follow your expectations and for what happened to the airport. All our tours are private and there is always a person that follow the clients from the begin to the end because we like always to personalize every tour to the requests and needs of our guests talking with them all the time. First of all we decide to realize this video because the olive oil production is only in a limited time of year and no many people understand the work that is behind until they don't see all the process with their eyes. After the tasting we give free choice to the guests to enjoy a walking in the olive trees if they want and if the weather is good but not everyone want to do it, as you wrote they are just less of 3 meters away from the building. About the problem to the airport we always say that the unique thing that you can bring on the carry on bag is the balsamic vinegar bottles and all the rest must be on the checked luggage also because we don't have tins of 100 ml for olive oil. However I hope that you come to visit us again to enjoy togheter with us the new olive oil and the walking in the olive trees. Yours sincerely Annalaura

The oil tasting introduction was was super fun and indeed, following the tasting directions reveals completely new depths as to what olive oil can actually taste like! The food (local and home made) was also delicious, and, unlike with some other tasting places, you actually get a generous glass of wine to enjoy with your various foods. Well actually glass with each food so after all the tastings we left in really high spirits :) ! Throughout, the host was very friendly and personable sharing stories of life on the farm. But the biggest surprise to me was the balsamic vinegar tasting towards the end - I had absolutely no idea that vinegar can taste like this! The variety of different aromas, complexity and intensity of flavors - WOW! Why didn't anybody tell me before?? I can understand why it is packaged as a high-end perfume. Thank you so much Maria for an unforgettable experience!

I have been coming to the Tili Vini for three years now and it is always an amazing experience. This last time I did a tasting of the organic extra virgin olive oil and I highly recommend it!

All products sold by the Tili family are organic and from their farm. The wine, of which I am a regular, is truly great. The olive oil is the an experience on itself, green emerald color and a taste that I have never tried before.

Maria and Annalaura Tili are wonderful hosts that provide explanations and stories for every piece, and if you happen to find Marcos Tili, he is the master of the olive oil, so make sure you ask him for details!

Overall, a must do in the area to get an idea of the products and traditions of Umbria with the advantage of knowing that everything that you will taste is organic and natural.

As a birthday present for my partner, I had decided to give him a tasting of organic oil and wine with local products... and what can I say, it was like being in paradise, a 100% successful surprise!!!
The location seems like an oasis of peace!
We were welcomed by the owner of the house, with a big smile, a lot of kindness and a hug... who accompanied us on a tour among the olive trees and passed on all her love and knowledge, for what the whole family does every day, to create quality and organic products!! Fundamental for our health and everything around us!
We were also welcomed by some wonderful little dogs...also super hospitable and full of love, who won us over with our eyes closed!
The experience of tasting the oil was truly pleasant, we learned to recognize Quality!! Which is fundamental for an irreplaceable product like oil... I recommend it must be a Mr. Oil! Never take it for granted, especially for all the properties it gives us!
Then we moved on to the wine....and I have to say Wow what a wine!!!!!! 5 glasses 5 emotions! Accompanied by local products that will leave you speechless!
Lastly... given the occasion, we were also captivated by a fig tart, kindly offered... as the icing on the cake!
Wow thank you so much, I highly recommend "L'Esperienza" and this 5 star family business!
See you soon... very soon 😉
