Eleonora was an excellent teacher. She was patient with us and explained each step well. Ultimately, we were proud of the pasta we made from scratch, and the tiramisu we made was delicious. More than anything, we enjoyed the conversation with our teacher. Eleonora is not only a talented chef but also quite learned and wise. My wife and I learned new things about Italian cuisine, but more importantly, we feel like we made a friend in Assisi.

Cant speak highly enough of our time with Eleanor! She was precious and charming and encouraging and instructional and so very patient...this outing went far beyond our expectations. She offers a class "in centro" if you need to be within Assisi city. But we opted to take a taxi (about 50Euro for the 17 min drive) to her stunning place in the countryside. It was a beautiful, spacious home with a main level completely dedicated to her cooking and hosting events. The brick walls and the stunning arches made it feel like a true italian cooking experience. We arrived to a welcome of cheeses, meats, homemade bread and accompaniments. Next we prepped our dessert and out it in the fridge to set and cool. Then we made 2 types of pasta, learning about the right flour, the right measurements, and the correct way to knead the dough. Once done, Eleanor cooked our pasta and we enjoyed a fantastic meal! Highly Highly Recommend

My husband and I had a wonderful time cooking and visiting with Anna and her husband. They made us feel so welcome in their home. Anna is a great cook, the pasta and tiramisu were amazing. I would definitely recommend this experience if you would like to eat great food and visit with a delightful couple!

Anna and her husband were so hospitable!! We felt so welcome in their home and enjoyed learning how to make and cook the pasta. The meal was delicious! Our time went by fast and we hated to leave.

Anna and Arnoldo were so welcoming and fun to spend the evening with as she showed us how to cook Italian. I would recommend this event. The food was so good and Anna went above and beyond what was promised.

Our cooking class with Anna Armanni and her family exceeded all expectations. Right from the start, we felt welcome in their home. We got a deep and authentic experience, and loved learning about traditional Umbrian cooking and customs. We enjoyed bruschetta, two types of pasta with two homemade sauces, and tiramisu. All simply delicious! And, as a bonus, the eggs and tomatoes came from their home. When we asked about local olive oil producers, they immediately called their neighbor who presses his own olives. The neighbor shortly arrived at their house with a container of olive oil for us! Thanks so much to your family for giving us an experience that you don’t get on the typical tourist trail!

When we all sat down at the table to eat the meal we all prepared. The Cesarina’s family sat down with us and we all exchanged stories and experiences. K highly recommend this 3 hour cooking session!

Our evening with Sara could not have been better. She and Angelo were gracious hosts, welcoming my husband and I into their beautiful home, patiently teaching me to make strangozzi, torta al testo and tiramisu. It was a fabulous experience and one of the highlights of our ten days in Italy. I highly recommend a class with her. It was an authentic, memorable experience. I only wish we lived closer!
