Daniela was our guide. She shared her passion for history with us, with enthusiasm and joy. It was a genuine pleasure to spend the morning with her, and see this beautiful city through her stories, imagining St Francis's life within the historical and geopolitical context of the time. Beyond wonderful! If you are reading this book it. Solid tour. Morenas knowledge and skill at giving the group what we were interested in is fantastic. We were a group of guys doing a tour before the wedding and she was able to give us a fast tour in the limited time we had. Wonderful.

Monia was our guide, and she was fantastic! Her wealth of knowledge about St. Francis, St. Clare, Assisi and the historical sights was impressive. She answered any question we asked, and spent more than the allotted time with us. We learned so much from our tour with her, and it was worth every penny. We would highly recommend this tour, and Monia as a guide. Thank you, Monia!

We traveled from Florence to Assisi by train and met our guide, Allesandra, at the Basilica of St. Francis. She lives in Assisi and has a thorough knowledge of the town and its history and art, and the lives of St. Francis and St. Claire. We visited both the upper and lower church, took in stunning views from the hilltop, strolled through the charming streets of this medieval town, visited a church which had once been a Roman temple, a parish church which houses the baptism front of St. Francis, and finally the Church of St. Claire.
Alessandra was a very warm and informative guide, and she made the tour very enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Maria Rita did a fantastic job giving us a personal tour of Assisi on a very cold day with intermittent rain. We visited the main cathedrals in Assisi and walked the streets. Her knowledge of history and expertise helped us understand and imagine the days of St. Francis and St. Clare. It made the city come alive for us!

This is a city to visit for beauty, style, and atmosphere
If you are driving don't be intimidated if lorries drive behind you flashing and beeping take a picture of their number plate they will back off
