This is a small, family-based vineyard / winery. The 2-hour "winemaker for a day" experience was our first port of call, at the public-facing venue. This was a well-kept property with gorgeous views, and involved some interesting information about the grapes and processes involved in making the wines (five different ones I think). Some lovely antipasti were also included, and the atmosphere was generally friendly, uncomplicated, and unhurried. Exactly what was wanted on a hot summer afternoon. The second portion of the experience was an interesting tour of the production facility, about a mile down the road. Most impressed that we were given such personal attention and it is obvious that our guide was enthused by the wine and wanted to make sure we got our value for money. We bought a couple of bottles which have since survived a flight (I defy you not to take away some of the orange) and they clearly have their sales geared for international tourists as well as locals: olive oil and balsamic vinegar, which are also made on site, are available in carry-on sizes. I've been on wine-tasting tours on other continents and never been disappointed, but this one had a unique flavour of Italian hospitality. We got talking to another couple and as a result our stay was almost half an hour longer than booked - the hosts were completely chilled about this and arranged their work around us. All in all highly recommended, and like all the best wines - unpretentious.

We had a lovely morning cooking class and then tasting the fruits of our labour at Tili. Such fun making various dishes! Wine washed down the food on the beautiful terrazza with a view of the Umbrian valley.

Being winemaker for a day at Tili Vini is all about passion. Passion for the region, passion for the art of wine making, passion for regional food and passion for their guests. Arriving almost 15 minutes late because i didn't read the instructions 100%, we where welcomed at the winery with open arms. From the start of the tour their knowledge and competence shines trough. The tour of the winery followed by the tasting is worth every penny. Everyone at Tili is warm at heart and they go out of their way to make sure you have an excellent experience. At the end of our tasting i asked if we could buy some of the truffels they had "hunted" with their dog that morning. And even on that out of the blue question they acted with the most pleasant response. Yes, we will be back at Tili Vini soon.

This tour was amazing! Annalaura gave us an incredibly detailed and educational tour of the winery and winemaking process. She answered all our questions and showed us every aspect of the process. The wine and food tasting was exceptional!! They provided us with delicious appetizers and wine pairings. My kids even got to pet and play with the family dog! It was one of the best tours we had in Italy and would highly recommend it!!

Very nice experience at this family run winery. Host explained the way they produce wine followed by a wine tasting session really well.

This wine / olive oil tasting was very fun and informative. The owners took time to explain to us how extra-virgin olive oil is made, and even what that name means. They also talked to us about growing grapes and making wine in central Italy, which was fascinating. They were generous with the wines we tasted and every one of them was delicious! They also provided a fun variety of bruschetta and charcuterie, which was a treat in itself and complemented the oil, balsamic vinegar, and wine we tried. My wife and I talked about which wine we liked best, and it was hard to decide because they were all so good!

I heard about this tour on Trip Advisor in the United States just before coming to Italy on tour with an American choir. It was the highlight of my trip! The wines were well explained and delicious, the bruschetta and cheeses were fabulous, and the setting was absolutely glorious. I give it my highest recommendation! I would have bought more wine and olive oil, but it would not fit in my suitcase. Grazie mille, Tili Vini, for a wonderful experience!!

Beautiful place/ fantastic tour and explanation of wine and olive oils and balsamic!! Wow! The perfect Umbrian and Italian stop!! Sent some products home and they just arrived!!!🎉🎉

Lovely experience with knowledgeable guide. The winery has beautiful views so perfect for a relaxing afternoon or evening.Food was excellent best brushetta we have had so far ! Wines are interesting and different we bought 3 to take home. Would definitely recommend the trip. Enjoy ! Wendy & Steve

Picked up by Giulia at the Porto Nuovo and taken first to the winery for an interesting tour and introduction to the family. We then backtracked to Tili's fantastic tasting centre which has a enviable outlook over the valley. We had 5 wines along with some very tasty snacks, several were varieties we hadn't tried before. Finally had some incredible balsamic vinegar, just tiny amounts transforming the accompanying food. Altogether a wonderful tour with Giulia being an excellent host.

A beautiful location with great wines, great food and a spectacular view. The family that runs it is delightful, knowledgeable and informative. They will ship their wines home for you at a very reasonable price. They even e-mailed a family cookbook after our visit, which I have already used. Highly recommend.

I recommend it to every wine lover... Even though I mixed up the tasting dates, they at Tili Vini immediately adapted and had friendly answers to all our questions. They took time for us. The wines are excellent, I think I found a new favorite... David

Beautiful day. Wonderful view. Very pleasant and knowledgeable staff. Wine was amazing and each one with unique character (I bought way too much to send home). English was outstanding. Had to drive 3-5 minutes away for the winery tour which was also very interesting. They served heavy appetizers that were quite tasty. We also tasted their balsamic vinegar.

We have enjoyed Tili wines for over 25 years, and were very happy to do a cooking class and wine tasting at their "21" venue. 9 of us learned how to make pasta, eggplant parmigiana, biscotti and meatballs. once the class was finished, we ate the fruits of our labors on the patio at Tili accompanied by their amazing organic wines. Maria and her daughter Annalaura were such great hosts, and we thoroughly enjoyed the time spent at Tili Vini. Thank you Maria, Pietro, Annnalaura and Marco for an unforgettable day.
