- mr59rivera0 contributions2 trips cancelled within 48 hoursTrip cancelled, Dont understand how they let you book a trip on Friday night for Sunday then cancel it by Saturday morning. This was the second trip that was cancelled. I booked a totally different company now so we'll see if it goes.Written November 30, 2024
- I5973ZXaudreym0 contributionsImmersion in the Tuscan way of life!I highly recommend the hiking tour. While November is off season, the automnal colours coupled with the beauty of Tuscany nature was a success! Not only was I transported by the landscapes but the guide was of great company, passionate by Tuscany, explaining me the history of the place and trail we were taking, teaching me about edible plants and herbs that we could directly taste as well as sharing nice insights about life in general. Finally, the wine tasting was a warm and nice moment, where I could learn about Monte Chiaro family and the different wines they make, thanks to generous workers there. It was a real immersion !Written November 22, 2024
- Matt M0 contributionsMagnificent Duomo of Siena and informative walk through sone of Siena with our outstanding guide, Elio. This Nov. 16th walking tour through some of the streets of Siena could not have been better, except for a few degrees warmer. We visited the Church of Saint Caterina, who was born in Siena. There were talks about the 17 contradas and their significance. The 2 yearly races with contradas competing in this horse race around Piazza del Campo, the Palio di Siena. The rivalry between city states Siena and Florence, very interesting. There's more that can't be mentioned. The Duomo of Siena, one word, Magnificent. Don't miss it. Our tour guide, Elio, was outstanding, knowledgeable, and with humor and a quick wit. A most excellent tour. My thanks.Written November 16, 2024
- R8598EUjanets0 contributionsA Highlight of My Women's Tuscany Small Group TourI highly recommend this tour! Our guide, Enrico, was amazing, very knowledgable and accommodating of our group of 7. All three winery stops were great, but Chiara, from the Sant'Antimo winery, was an especially good host and the Brunello wines produced there are fantastic. 5 stars.Written November 15, 2024
- hhairgrove10 contributionsMemories that will last forever! We had the absolute best time on this tour! We made so many memories that will last forever. The countryside is beautiful and we throughly enjoyed ourselves and our wonderful guide! Thank you again!!Written November 15, 2024
- Twscoot0 contributionsMattia made the day fabulous and extremely enjoyable for this Australian family.Mattia was an excellent tour guide for my wife, son and I. A winemaker by trade, he explained in great detail the wine making process and added some fabulous humour throughout the day. I’d highly recommend this trip.Written November 11, 2024
- TerryFitzy0 contributionsPerfect length and lovey tour guide. We only had one-day in Siena, so a two-hour two was perfect. We saw the sights and still had time on our own. The guide was charming and kept the tour moving.Written November 10, 2024
- 99katb0 contributionsFantastic start in getting to know about the unique city of Siena.Claudia was an engaging, knowledgeable & charming guide to us in her city. She explained many interesting aspects of the history of the city & province as well as that of the building of the Duomo. She made the history live & made me want know more & revisit the city. Highly recommended tour for the early part of your stay.Written November 9, 2024
- 99katb0 contributionsA wine tour in a small, friendly group.Paulo was only 3 weeks into the guiding job but acquitted himself with aplomb. His background in viticulture studies & his local knowledge added to the experience of going to 3 wineries - a beautiful lunch at one - & short stops in an old fortified town & an Abbey. It was a nice change to be just 8 of us (tota) in a van going thru the green countryside.Written November 9, 2024
- Dreamer7331300 contributionsAn enjoyable dayWhat a great Tour. Julia was delightful, considerate of all participants and knowledgeable of the area and its history. We would have enjoyed time to walk in a vineyard and more in depth information about production. The wine fantastic, and the landscape gorgeous.Written November 6, 2024
- Troy B0 contributionsBuyer beware before booking this tourWhen I read about it being an e-bike tour I thought the bikes could propel themselves and you could peddle as much or as little as you wanted throughout the tour. In the US we have full electric bikes and I incorrectly assumed they were the same here. Our guide Dominic was very patient and did a great job explaining the bikes and made sure everyone was ready before we began our tour. We started in Siena and had to peddle up some very steep hills and descend some steep inclines in heavy traffic and stay on the white line to the right. Cars were very close and it was a scary experience for some being so close to the cars and trucks. Once we got into the country with less traffic it was more enjoyable until we hit a gravel road that was difficult to ride with the loose gravel and ruts along the path that lasted about 20 minutes before we got to a smooth roadway again. We stopped for a nice lunch at a working farm with a winery and olive production which is typical in the Chianti region. Some decided to end the tour and take a cab back to the starting point. The tour back was shorter than the first leg, but was very congested heading back into Siena. It was hard to relax in the traffic and it took great concentration to stay carefully on the white line on the right, not hit the tires in front of you and wait for cars and trucks to pass around you when two way traffic cleared. I enjoyed the tour, but I would not have chosen it for several members of our group if I had understood the bikes were only electric assist and not fully electric with peddling optional. Also, all directions in your tour information to the starting point need to have an exact address to enter into our GPS. Some had the train station and the one we looked at to confirm the tour just had 53100 Siena which just led us to the city and not the train station. We ended up being 15 minutes late and held up other members of the staff and guests. If we had had the GPS coordinates we would have been 15 minutes early. If you are not in good physical condition and use to biking over 20 miles I would not recommend this tour. If you are in good physical condition make sure you do not mind riding half the tour in heavy traffic and staying in the far white line to avoid traffic coming up and around you. It is a better tour for experienced bikers and those who can use partially assisted e-bikes.Written October 31, 2024
- Roam593587488260 contributionsGreat tastings with wonderful guideVery nice tour! Our guide Paolo was so nice and very knowledgeable about the area, the wine and wine production. We visited 3 vineries and the tours we got and tastings were excellent. We had lunch at the second vineyard which was very special - cooked by the mum in their home and the daughter joined us for lunch so we could ask loads of questions :-) We had a lot of fun and the group of 8 people in total was perfect. A very nice day out!Written October 28, 2024
- tracystravels0 contributionsTuscan Classics Wine ClassI had the pleasure of learning about wine during the Tuscan Classics Wine Class led by winemaker Mattia Barzhagi. We drank good wine, and learned so much about the local wine region’s practices, certifications, and different kinds of wine. The class was two hours but he stayed overtime to answer all of our questions. I highly recommend this activity.Written October 27, 2024

WOW 😍🇮🇹🍒 🍷 a Truly wonderful day! Firstly our guide Keko was incredible he was friendly and knowledgeable. He shared so much wonderful knowledge of the area and he not only took time to answer our questions he was also interested in our own stories. Conversation flowed as we took in our surrounds. We took so much away from this experience. A little bit wiser and with bigger smiles and a bigger love for Italy. I can not recommend this experience enough. The walk was throughly enjoyable and at the end we were rewarded with beautiful wine tasting! Where the staff were also extremely friendly and informative. Thank you for such a wonderful day! This is truly a great way to spend a day in Siena 🇮🇹 Keko next time let’s walk more of the Francigena! Claire and Will - Melbourne, Australia.

We spent a fabulous day with Georgia last Friday discovering the delights of small vineyards and the beautiful wine they produce. So many highlights in the day - the wine, the Tuscan scenery, delicious lunch under the olive trees next to the vineyard, I could go on! Thanks for a memorable day!

I understand your cancellation policy that gives a full refund if done 24 hrs in advance. But what if it were to rain the morning of the scheduled hike?
