Great experience with this tour! I wish I remembered our tour guide's name but she was phenomenal. She shared that she was an archeologist and explained the architecture of San Gimignano and how it relates to the history of the city. I learned so much history from her and was subsequently able to appreciate and admire San Gimignano to the fullest extent. She was very sweet and took great pictures of my boyfriend and I. She also recommended a local restaurant for dinner and showed us a romantic spot to watch the sunset. She suggested we get some cured meats and cheeses and wine from the shops in the city and watch the sunset from the spot she showed us and that's exactly what we did after the tour. It was beautiful and I cherish the time spent in San Gimignano because of her.

Our tour with guide Chiara was exactly what we were hoping for - she had the perfect mix of humor/interesting information/lots of cultural insights and she really brought the city and the countryside to life. We all felt like we learned a lot, not only about the city, but about the region, rivalries, Italian vocabulary and attitudes. She also gave us great advice about another city to go in the afternoon and what roads to drive on to get there - she was spot on and made the rest of our day great too. Couldn’t recommend this tour enough and we loved our time with the awesome Chiara!
