OUr experience was the BEST! Our driver was awesome and explained everything along the way to the different stops. I would recommend Rome In Limo to everyone who is touring in Italy.

We are so happy we used Rome in Limo for our bucket list stops in Naples and Rome during our Mediterranean cruise. Jany was communicative about our bookings and never left me hanging for a response. Daniele in Naples drove us to Pompeii to meet our private guide, Francesco. Next we were driven to Cantina del Vesuvio for lunch, and finally we were dropped off to hike to the crater of Mt. Vesuvius, which is just awesome. It was lovely to talk with Daniele about life in that area all along the way. We also enjoyed spending the day with Piero in Rome. He drove us around to a number of ruins/highlights and explained the significance. He taught us a lot, and he had a great sense of humor, too! He then put us in the capable hands of a great private Vatican guide, Chiara, who made sure we saw so much amazing art and architecture without getting lost. If you are interested in getting the most bang for your buck during a cruise port day in Italy, I highly recommend Rome in Limo. Both drivers were easy to find at the respective ports, and both kept aware of any ship schedule changes or traffic that could delay return to the port. We only had a few hours in each location, but not a minute was wasted and at no time were we worried about "missing the boat." Most importantly, we met these incredible human beings who love to show off their cities and connect with other people. And they made us want to come back and visit again!

We had the best day with Livio showing us the beauty of Rome!!! We fit so many beautiful sites in, including a few extras that we had time for which ended up being the highlights of our day! We can't wait to visit Italy again and book more tours with Livio. It was like spending the day with an old friend making us feel so comfortable in an unfamiliar place. He was great with all of us, including our kids! Thank you, Livio!

Our driver was wonderful! Very polite, extremely helpful and cautious driver. We had him pick us up from Florence as well and take us to Rome. Again, stellar service. Made the trip easy and enjoyable. Worth every penny. We had a different driver pick us up at Hotel in Rome and drop us off at airport. Again, courteous, polite and super helpful with all our luggage. Highly recommend this company!

We have used Rome in Limo several times over the past few cruises to set up private tours in Rome and Florence. Our experiences have always been outstanding. We have done the highlight and classic tours of Rome and Florence as well ones that are little more off the beaten track and all have been amazing. Jany is extremely patient and knowledgeable in helping plan the day that works for you. The drivers have all been professional, friendly and knowledgeable as well. On our recent tour in Rome, Stephane was our driver and he made the day so special. We chatted about where we had been before, what we'd like to see again and he took us to some new places that were such a treat. The whole day was relaxing and fun and we had such a wonderful day enjoying the sights of Rome. We had a wonderful day in Rome with our driver Nick. He was prompt and navigated us around the busy roads of Rome while showing us many highlights. He was very knowledgeable. We then joined a private Vatican guide, Tiziana. She helped us all through the Vatican and was so interesting! Jany was amazing in making all of the arrangements for us! Great company!

We had a wonderful day with our driver Giovanni. He was prompt and professional and shared so much very interesting information with us. We were able to see Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello in one day. We enjoyed his company and he provided us a great lunch recommendation too! Jany was a huge help in making all of the reservations and handling all of our questions. Highly recommend this company!

We were on a cruise, but docked for a day in Naples. We had been to Pompeii and Naples before, and wanted to experience something different. The tour was all day, but the time passed quickly. Alex, the driver, met us at the dock. The Mercedes was comfortable and the air conditioning was excellent. Alex was extremely knowledgeable and pointed out all the sites. He was very flexible and gave us options of what to see that interested us. We had free time in the cities to explore. We were returned to ship on time. On a side note, we also used RomeInLimo to shuttle us from our Rome hotel to our cruise ship. Both experiences were excellent! We were a group of 4, 2 couples. Price was reasonable considering the length of tour, what we saw, and the excellent tour guide!

Our experience with Rome In Limo was outstanding! This was the second time in the past several years that we used RIL and once again they far exceeded our high expectations. Six of us thoroughly enjoyed our three excursions: 1) The Godfather Country, 2) Private Day Trip to Florence and Pisa and Daytrip from Rome to Pompei and Sorrento and Private. RIL always met us on time in each port, asked our specific interests for each tour and accommodated every special request. As an example, on the Florence/Pisa tour, we requested if it would be possible to tour a Tuscany winery. While not part of that tour, the driver made it happen; turned out to be one of the best tours (and wine tastings) ever! All drivers and tour guides were exceptional; friendly, extremely knowledgeable, flexible and just fun to be around! We have recommended RIL to many family and friends and all had equally great experiences. Highly recommend them.

Our driver Alex was fantastic. Knowledgeable and great sense of humor. Took us to a fabulous place for wine tasting and ensured we saw everything we wanted even those it required more time.

During our recent trip to Italy, which included several days in Rome before a Celebrity Cruise, we used RomeInLimo to help us with transportation and guided tours. Over many months, Jany was invaluable and helped make our trip one of the best in our lives. She helped us with 5 different tours and was able to offer advice and guidance as we needed it. She was incredibly prompt and patient with us….and we had lots of questions as this was our first trip to Europe and we were slightly overwhelmed. She helped to make the planning an easy and enjoyable process. And the guides / drivers she provided really made our trip memorable. They were some of the best days of our trip. If / when we go back, I would absolutely start my planning again with Jany and would request the same drivers and guides. Jany helped us with the following activities: 1. Transfer from Rome airport to our Hotel on arrival day – Marco texted via WhatsApp shortly after we landed. He was waiting for us right outside of baggage claim. Very nice calm experience after arriving tired from overnight flight into a busy foreign airport. Great driver and professional. 2. Jany helped us book both tickets (through her friend Lucia) and a guide (Roseanna) for our day at the Vatican. Roseanna was so knowledgeable about the Vatican Museums. She explained everything in great detail and made sure we saw the highlights of the Museums and St. Peter’s in our limited time there. Having her guide us allowed us to really focus on the art and architecture and not worry about the details or logistics of getting around. 3. Transfer from our Rome Airport to Cruise ship at Port Civitavecchia – Stephane picked us up at our hotel and drove us straight to the cruise ship. He had the special permit that allowed us to be dropped off right at the terminal. I had read some transfers dropped people off at the edge of the port and they had to catch a bus to the ship. Stephane provided great conversation, safe driving and dropped us off right where the luggage porters took our suitcases and we walked right in. So easy and stress free. 4. Driver for the Day in Livorno – Jany set us up with Simona as our driver for the day. She met us at the gangway of the ship and took us to her van. She was a great conversationalist and we enjoyed our talks. First stop was Pisa. After that, we went on a driving tour of the Florence countryside including rolling hills, valleys, vineyards and olive oil farms / facilities. She then took us to Michelangelo’s Plaza overlooking the city for great photo opportunities. After that, we drove down into Florence and she dropped us off in the city center with directions on what she recommended we see. Despite a downpour, we were able to see the main part of the town and the Duomo. She then took us to Accademia for our timed entry to see David. The museum was way behind on the timed entries with people lining up everywhere (still in a downpour), so she adjusted our schedule to have lunch near there. She walked us to a great restaurant and spoke with the owner, explaining our timing situation with David. The restaurant provided a fantastic meal and wine in a very short period so that we could get back to the line. After going back to the Museum, the line was still incredibly long and chaotic. We were afraid we would not have time to make it in. Simona spoke with several workers managing the queue. After a brief conversation, the workers opened the gates just for us to allow us direct entry. Without Simona intervening, we would have surely missed seeing David. Due to the rain, there was a bad accident on the highway back to the port. Simona was aware of this and detoured us around. We arrived back at port with plenty of time to spare. 5. Driver for the Day in Naples – We elected to spend this day sightseeing around the Amalfi Coast. Our Driver, Giovanni, picked us up as soon as we exited the secured port area. He was very energetic and funny. Did a great job explaining the history and geography of his home area. Our first stop was Ravello to look out over the mountains and valleys below, including Pompeii from a distance. We stopped at a small village which was very scenic and had great pottery stores. After this we drove along the Amalfi Coast, stopping at several vantage points to enjoy the incredible views. We did stop for a bit in Positano which allowed us to walk down the hill through stores, cafes and ultimately ended up at water’s edge. Giovanni waited up with the van. Once finished, he picked us up and took us to a non-touristy restaurant up top that had the most incredible view of Positano and the ocean. The owner of the restaurant took care of us as we shared three different pastas and a pizza family style. The food and scenery was amazing. Without Giovanni, we would have ended up eating at one of the “tourist-trap” cafes below. Giovanni got us back to the ship safely and securely. He was fantastic.

This was an incredible private day trip with Peter, our driver and guide. Peter picked my sister and me up at our hotel in Rome, and we left for the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii. Throughout the tour, he pointed to breathtaking and exciting sites. Peter was a perfect gentleman. He held our interest by discussing Italian culture and the surrounding countryside. He even treated my sister and me to a lemon slush! Peter took the time to make reservations for us at a superb seaport restaurant. Our Pompeii tour guide, Elizabeth, was highly knowledgeable. Each of our questions was clearly answered. Peter and Elizabeth's personal touch made our trip more pleasurable than ever imagined. If you have a chance, take this tour. You'll love it!

We had a group of 12 so they brought 2 vans that met us at the cruise ship. Drivers were knowledgeable fun and did an awesome job in the tours. Had ample time when they dropped us off at certain locations. Did not feel rushed.

One of the best days on our 10 day cruise! Maria Clara knew all of the best spots to take us and customized our day based off of our preferences. She gave us a great information and tips along the way. I would highly recommend Rom in Limo private tours to everyone. We took two and they were the best days we had!!!
