The views were brilliant, out of this world. The Baptist,and the Cathedral stunning. We hired a tour guide for this visit well worth it. The information she told us wow. 80 kilos of gold flake on the ceiling, the bronze doors.

Overall, the tour was excellent. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history and structures of Pisa. My suggestion is to book a mid-morning tour, around 10am to beat the crowds. Arrive about 8:30 to 9am and walk around the grounds and get a few pictures before the tour. Maybe grab a coffee and a pastry also. I felt that the description of the different tours was not well explained and the directions for the meeting place were not very specific. The square that we were supposed to meet had many souvenir vendors and was very congested. I also had trouble getting the vouchers to download for our tour guide, which created an inconvenience when checking in with the guide. Overall, I was very pleased with the tour and the admission price and would highly recommend this tour over trying to navigate yourself on a self-guided tour.

Our guide was excellent. She told us about the cathedral, the baptistry, and the leaning tower in bite-sized chunks, and then elaborated when we asked questions. All three sites were amazing and she made them even more amazing by what she told us.

Outstanding and friendly guide, the knowledge we gained made the visit so much more special about the whole square of Miracles and how all the beautiful buildings relate to one another for one story, rather than just the leaning tower on its own.

Excellent tour guide , very friendly with a sense of humour. We enjoyed listening to the echo inside the babtistry as lucky enough to experience singing.Enjoyed the experience greatly!

Great tour to hear about the fabulous history and see the main attractions around the tower and baptistery. Alessia was extremely knowledgeable and made the morning enjoyable. Small group tour, personalized and would recommend.

Pisa is a fabulous place We stayed at the NH pisa hotel across from the station. Take some advice and utilise the fantastic train service to access other cities you won't be disappointed the trains are clean...smooth cheap and frequent you can't go wrong. The people of pisa were friendly polite and very helpful

Great tour. Our guide was very informative without going on and on. With this tour, we were able to see inside the chapel and baptistry plus we added the tower climb. Would definitely recommend.

We loved the tour although we didn’t get to do the Baptistery as for some reason we hadn’t included it in our booking, even though we thought we had. We did do the Cathedral and the Leaning Tower. Both of these were fantastic and well worth doing. Our guide was amazing and gave you just enough information with a lot of enthusiasm including giving you something to think about. We would highly recommend doing this tour. The cathedral and how on earth they built it between the 9th and 10th Centuries is beyond belief. The engineering is fantastic. The Leaning Tower history - how it first leaned, how they finished it and how they have tried to stop it from leaning is fascinating as is climbing to the top. Well worth it.

This tour was definitely worth it. When we originally signed up, it states 15 people max but there just 5 of us so we were happy with the size. We toured inside the baptistry, the cathedral and finally a timed entry to walk up the Leaning Tower of Pisa! Our tour guide provided much commentary of each building. Although the tour ended in about 1.5 hours, we were left on our own to climb the tower. Our ticket also allowed us to tour the cemetery the hospital and other museums onsite and we did them all the next day! The ticket to tour the rest of the area is good for 1 year. The price was definitely worth it as it provided a complete picture of the buildings, the creators, the architecture and background and other stories. This is our 3rd tour with TripAdvisor and Viator and we have been very happy! We are looking forward to one more tour in Bologna with TripAdvisor. Well done!

Our guide, Celia, was friendly and full of knowledge. She took the time to get to know us in order to make the experience more personal. She taught us many things about the area of Pisa, including history and how to find good gelato. Highly recommend - thank you Celia!

The tour included “all inclusive” tickets for the campus, which allowed entry to all the buildings, but only the Baptistry and Cathedral were guided inside, plus an explanation about the Leaning Tower from the outside, ground level. The tour was advertised as delivered in English. While true, our guide spoke English with a very strong Spanish accent, which often made it difficult to follow through the low-quality headphones system provided. She often spoke away from the microphone, which did not help. A ridiculous note about the tickets (nothing to do with the tour operator) … free access to the toilets is ONE ACCESS PER GUEST. If you stay around to visit the other museums etc, then go back there later, they will charge €1 per person! This was not explained by our guide. Tip: The Museum has free toilets inside.
