Top Notch Tour Guide in Pisa!
David was by FAR the best tour guide of our trip so far in Italy! We booked this very last minute this morning and our evening tour was a delight. His explanations and information on Pisa was detailed, interesting and engaging. So glad we decided to tour this beautiful city with David!

    Great tour...Brilliant guide.
Took this tour this morning (my last day) & so regret not doing it my 1st day. The guide David made the city & it's history explode into life for me. For example, on my return train from Firenze earlier in the week, I wondered why there were so many beautiful hilltop towns in the region. He answered it en passante in his narrative. As happy to answer questions as he is comfortable describing the town, it's history & it's culture, he displays a depth & personality that makes for an enjoyable & informative tour.

    Authentic and interesting!
It was perfect to get to know Pisa and its story beside of the leaning tower. The guide was friendly and the size of the group awesome. I can recommend to do this tour on one of the first days in town.

    Perfect Pisa Introduction
Davide walked us north from Pisa Centrale station (note that location!) to the duomo and tower, opening up the city through architecture, history and present day life. Learnt loads, shown things we would have missed, enjoyed the two hour introduction to a thriving city

TAKE THE TIME TO TAKE YOUR TIME
We were a small group and David was a wonderful guide. Casual stroll through the business district of town the included a stop in H&M to see the architectural and artistry of days gone by. That was a hoot! Ended up at the Leaning Tower of Pisa, of course, and was escorted right to the stairs to climb to the top. David's plan and language skills made for a successful tour of town.

    Not only a leaning tower
We enjoyed the tour a lot. It is not the first time in Pisa, even though some decades ago, but the city has so much more to offer than the leaning tower. The walk was informative und enjoyable.

    Highly recommend
This walking tour is perfectly paced in the level of information, walking pace and route taken. David answered questions competently without going down rabbit holes. Finishing at the Tower and buzzy district surrounding it was a great way to end the tour.

A nice way to learn about the background of Pisa
This was an interesting way to learn about a city I knew very little about. I'm glad the focus wasn't just on the Leaning Tower, but an historical review of the city. Our guide was pleasant and accommodating for a small group.

David led us on a magical, informative tour of Pisa. It was one of the highlights our our trip to the Tuscany area. He is articulate and knowledge of the history and art. He had a pathway through the area showing us the homes and palaces, churches and school/universities. He's quite funny and passionate. Seeing the Piazza Del Duomo area is breathtaking. David shared all that is known and then some about the Baptistry, Pisa Cathedral which is magnificent! and then he took us right to the Bell Tower/Leaning Tower of Pisa. We got to skip the line to climb to the top. We were lucky enough to be the only two in this tour and he treated us well. I would highly recommend his tours. Book it early! Thank you David for helping our trip be even better.

Guide was great. Did a fantastic job explaining the history of Pisa and surrounding areas. Pisa tower history was also interesting and well worthwhile as opposed to just going up the tower on your own with no background. One of the highlights of our tour of Europe

David knows the city well and was quite delightful. Easy pace and good information from the central train station all the way to the Tower. I would suggest a pitstop for water or juice (at our own expense). I will say I was a bit surprised he left those actually climbing the tower on their own to find their way back to the tour starting point or wherever they needed to be. Several in my tour arrived in Pisa for the very first time to start the tour. Finding one's way can be tricky.

Thank you very much for your rewiev. The tour starts from outside the train station (meeting point) and ends at the Leaning Tower (end of tour). And yes, services ends with assistance in entering the Tower for climbing. After the end of the tour is up to the partecipants to organize the rest of the day in Pisa and return/go wherever each one needs to go. For those who need to know, the starting point of the tour (train station) is easily reachable from the Leaning Tower by walking (20 minutes), by taxi (there is a taxi stand close to the Leaning Tower, 11,00 Euro is the usual fee to the station) or by bus (Lam Rossa bus stand immediately outside the gate of the Piazza del Duomo). The walking tour portion was a waste of time. Nothing of interest to see until arriving at the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Was also supposed to enter the Cathedral but it was closed. David said he would only consider giving us a refund for that portion. So far no refund.

Great tour of Pisa with David. Learned much about the history of Pisa and the area. Easy pace walk through the city ending at the Tower. Climbing to the top of the Tower was a neat experience, can easy feel the leaning of the Tower while walking up the steps. Would highly recommend this tour.

It was brilliant, walked from the train station through Pisa and was given knowledge at every step.
Such a gorgeous place and with more history than I knew it had.
Skipped the line for the leaning tower and went straight up to see the view.
Amazing tour.

This was an amazing tour with a very knowledgeable guide David. We explored Pisa by walking through the city streets and entering some of the oldest buildings. We learned interesting things about the city of Pisa as well as about Italian culture and history. We also visited the church near the leaning tower which was very impressive, heard about its history as well as the construction history and specific details about the leaning tower . Then we climbed the tower which was a unique experience.
