In the confusion of the end of 2019/start of 2020 events I thought "I will do it later" and, now that tourism seems to start again, here I am. You are right, the steps are in marble consumed by visitors for centuries and they can be slippery. Thanks for remebering to the future visitors that it is important to wear comfortable shoes, really appreciated. Every time I climb the Tower I can't help thinking that I'm walking where Galileo Galiei walked... You are right, the climb is trickly, for the learning of the Tower but also for for the marble consumed by visitors for centuries. Every time I climb the Tower I can't help thinking that I'm walking where Galileo Galiei walked. And what about standing the top in a clear day that allow you to enjoy endless views of this wonderful region? Amazing. Good afternoon, sorry for my late reply but I just saw your review. As I told you when you finally answered the phone, it is not me making the abbreviation but the system itself. You forgot to write that you never called us to say you were late or lost somewhere. Unfortunately this made the rest of the group waiting for you, loosing 5’ of their time. You forgot also to write that I called you at least 3 times and, when you finally answered, we fixed a meeting with the guide to give you the opportunity to climb the tower. So sorry you forgot to mention everything we made for your tour, that otherwise you would have lost totally. Regards

In the confusion of the end of 2019/start of 2020 events I thought "I will do it later" and, now that tourism seems to start again, here I am. Happy to read you enjoyed our guided tour. Why the guide should have waited for you to finish seeing the Tower and then continued? The tour you booked is a one hour walking tour in the Square of Miracles then the guide take care of your entrance for the Leaning Tower and she leaves you when you enter the Tower. The entrance to the Leaning Tower is something we need to book in advance and you cannot be late or you loose the entrance. More, you arrived at the meeting point 20' after the scheduled time. We found another guide to start the tour with the other guests, not to keep them waiting for you, and Eloise was there just for you since you wrote some WhatsApp message about your delay. But, unfortunately, we are not allowed to change the time on the Leaning Tower tickets. I know our guides are wonderful and I really understand if you would have liked to enjoy a longer tour :) We have plenty of tours, including a 3 hours tour in Pisa: it is without the entrance to the Leaning Tower but you can always ask to add this at the end of the tour when you buy it on Viator.
