The Carrara Mines were fascinating. We weren't thrilled with any of the shore excursions offered by the cruise line, so this one was a good alternative. Very little glitz and glamour, but an up close look at a working marble mine.

Christiano was awesome! He was very attentive and made sure that we saw the best sights! He was always close by while we did different tours and even helped us get a little extra time to tour the Duomo before getting us back to our ship in plenty of time. I would definitely use them again for another trip to the Pisa/Florence area!!

Nothing but VIP service from the moment the tour started with pick up at our hotel. We had the pleasure of having Valter as our driver and guide to Portovenere and Cinque Terre. Very knowledgeable about all the areas leading up to the heart of the tour, showed us the best views in Portovenere, Monarola, Vernazza, and Corniglia. He even made us a reservation at a fabulous restaurant in Vernazza to enjoy some excellent seafood dishes and Vermentino. The Mercedes car made for a very comfortable, luxurious ride. If you’re looking for personable, knowledgeable and excellent service, look no further. We look forward to using Valter’s limo service in our future travels to Italy. Can’t wait for our next adventure!

We had the pleasure of having Valter pick us up at the Rome airport after a transatlantic flight and taking us to our rental apartment in Lucca. Unfortunately, our arrival was somewhat delayed, but there was Valter waiting for us after we collected our bags. The trip to Lucca was perfect in Valter’s incredibly comfortable Mercedes limousine. During the trip, we peppered him with questions about restaurants in Lucca, and his advice was spot on. We arrived within the walls of Lucca during a downpour, and Valter graciously helped us getting our luggage into our apartment. Valter’s business provides superb, reliable, and safe service, from the time you make your reservation with Julia until you are delivered to your destination. We most highly recommend him.

Leonardo was our driver and guide for a day trip from Florence to Chianti, San Gimignano, Volterra and back to Florence. He is so kind, knowledgeable about the area, accommodating, and made our excursion so very enjoyable. The car was so comfortable and relaxing. An exceptional experience all around. We had a wonderful trip with Valter from Rome to Florence with a custom stop at a winery in Montepulciano and then a stop at the designer outlet mall outside of Florence. Every step of our private shore excursion was well thought out and professional. We were picked up directly outside of our ship and promptly driven away avoided the large crowds traveling in ship excursions. Our driver and tour guide Giovanni was extremely knowledgeable and easy going. He is fluent in English and allowed us to make the most of our day celebrating my wife’s birthday. I would definitely recommend this tour and Giovanni (Gio) for any tour. Well worth the money.

Valter went above and beyond to create a unique expierience for my wife and I. Valter not only took us to the places that we requested to visit, he acted as a private sleuth to try and help find any relatives still around and the place that my Great Grandparents once lived. He then took us to the Florence American Cemetery to pay respects to my Great Uncle who died in WWII. Our trip to Lucca for an authentic Itialian Meal was fantastic and the ambience was perfect. Our final stop was in Pisa that wasn't even scheduled, but was a unexpected surprise that he was able to provide. I would recommend Valter and his company to anyone that want's to travel to Italy and is in need of a Private Tour. Thanks again to Valter and his Company for a memory that will live with us for eternity.

We have enjoyed every minute of our one week “Highlights of Tuscany” tour which included Pisa, Florence, Volterra, San Gimignano, Sienna, Chianti, Lucca, Montecarlo, Carrara, Lerici & Portovenere plus wine tasting experiences. Valter & Giovanni of Luccalimo were our superb drivers. Everything was perfect, punctuality, excellent driving & their knowledge of all the places we visited. They are courteous & above all friendly with a great sense of humour. It was like travelling with a friend in a beautiful car experiencing the wonders of Tuscany.

Our LuccaLimo experience was top notch from the reservation process to spending time with Stefano in the car that was comfortable for our three adult couples. Stefano was on time, he’s a great driver and he shared so much of the history and culture of Italy with us. Thank you for everything, Stefano!
