Alessandro was so friendly and informative and had our safety whilst cycling as a priority. Lovely ride from Lucca on mainly flat terrain. Vineyard and lunch were perfect, we were the only people there at the time so it was a very personal experience at a small vineyard. Knowledgeable staff took us on our tour and helped us select our wines. Highly recommend this tour

Alessandro was an incredible guide. He took us to the best vineyard, the lunch was incredible and the bike ride was lovely. He even let us stop at the river and jump in because we were sooo hot. E-bikes are not needed for this trip- it’s fairly flat.

It was a great experience to walk up on Monte Pisano with Federica. She is a very experienced hiking guide and has an enormous knowledge of the flora and fauna and also of the history of her homeland. She is also very nice and warm person. By the way I'v got a free Italian course and lots of tips for the beautiful Lucca :-) If I should come to Lucca again, I would certainly book more excursion with her or Alessandro, it is worth it. I had a great MTB ride with Alessandro on the Monti Pisano trail today! 😊 Alessandro took me off the beaten track and to places I would never have found on my own. After leaving the walled city of Lucca we headed South towards the mountainous area between Lucca and Pisa. On the steep climb we passed olive tree fields, an observatory, strawberry trees, an area full of chestnut trees, and a lot of breathtaking viewpoints from where one could see the towers of the walled city. Reaching Passo Di Dante we had a fantastic view towards Pisa and the sea, and was even able to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The steep descending way down was good fun, and suddenly - out of the blue - we reached a small village with a café, an 800 year old church etc. That was a nice cultural addition to the tour. Four hours after we started we ended the tour in the centre of Lucca …Happy after a super nice MTB ride. 😊 The bike I rented and rode today was a supernice E-MTB with plenty of power and battery to bring me all the way through the mountains and back. Experienced riders would be able to take the tour on a normal non-electric MTB, but the motorized bike just made me enjoy the tour and the landscapes more, than if I had been struggling on the climbs on a normal MTB. 😊 Alessandro was super friendly, talkative, speaks a good english, and know this area where he lived all his live like the back of his hand, so he was able to answer all my questions during the tour. 😊 I highly recommend this experience with Alessandro, and I have made a note to myself to try some of the other bike/hike experiences Alessandro & Federica offers through ‘Amazing Lucca’ next time I come back. 😊

We could not have asked for a better guide than Alessandro!! From the moment we met him at the start of our day until the very end he was absolutely the best! We did the Discover Chianti by bike and visited a most beautiful abbey and a local winery for a delicious lunch and tasting. The views along the way were breathtaking. He was very attentive to all our needs and kept a close eye on us so as not to separate from one another. He was especially on guard when a fast-moving short storm (possible tornado!) moved in. He swiftly got us to safety and under cover. As quickly as the storm came, it passed, and we were able to continue on our way! Alessandro is very professional, kind, alert, and fun to be around! By the end of the day it felt like we were friends! We would highly recommend him on any venture you choose.

During our summer vacation we did a hike with Federica on the Monte Pisano Trail. Along the way, Federica introduced us to nature, explained herbs and plants, and explained the local wildlife. Our kids were just as excited as we were. Our children were particularly impressed by the explored cave, even if we did not see a bat. At the height of the ascent we had a great view over Pisa, Lucca to the sea. This break was rounded off by a small picnic with pastries from the region, which Federika had brought along. We had a wonderful trip and our children also took home lasting impressions. We became aware of the homepage during our independent research. The contact in advance and on site was uncomplicated and very cordial.

We had an amazing morning with Alessandro our guide. He gave us options on the type of walk we wanted - we chose one that had a little more shade. The walk was great, Alessandro was pointing out all the interning features of the landscape, and the flora and fauna - very knowledgeable! Then we came out into a clearing and had the most breathtaking view of Pisa, the surrounding countryside and ocean - totally amazing and one that will really stick with us!

My wife and I rode with Alessandro from Lucca to Pisa. He was punctual, professional, knowledgeable, and had our safety in mind the whole time. Alessandro made us feel comfortable, in that he adjusted to our pace and was very patient in answering all our questions. Communication prior to our excursion with Alessandro was excellent and everything was as outlined in our communications, there were no hidden surprises or unexpected extras. Don't hesitate to share your travel adventures with Federica. I had a wonderful time hiking with her in the Alpi Apuane north of Lucca. Federica was recommended to me by a friend who did a day tour with her several months ago and I'm so glad she did. Communications were great in getting the day trip organized based on what I wanted to do. She provided a fantastic picnic lunch which we had in a wonderful spot on top of a mountain. Federica was also a very enjoyable hiking buddy for the day and easy to chat with.

We did two tours, the bike ride to Puccini lake and the hike on Palmaria Island. In our holiday of 10 days in Italy we agreed that these were our favourite two days. Alessandro is friendly and laid back (in a good way) and very knowledgeable and competent. Highly recommended

Alessandro was a pleasure to spend an adventure as he led us to Monte Prana and beyond! An expert guide in personality, conversation, knowledge and hospitality. His first concern is safety, assessing our abilities and selecting an appropriate path to take based on our ability level. We felt extremely comfortable following his lead. Alessandro added historical insight to the area as well as knowledge of floral and fauna of the area. It was a perfect day with Moka and cake at the peak. His trail selection in the Apuan Alps provided some of the best scenery we’ve seen anywhere in the world. If time had allowed we would have definitely taken another excursion with Alessandro or Federica

I'm a cyclist traveling alone who wanted a guide to take me on the road, so I arranged a private ride with Alessandro. He was fantastic -- met me (on time!) at my hotel and took me on a 3 hour ride in an area I never would have found on my own. I didn't have to worry about the route, check maps, etc. He not only knows interesting places you won't find on your own, but he also explains the history of the area. I had a great time with him - AND it was a solid workout! Highly recommend.

Great afternoon out bike riding to Villa Reale from Lucca. Alessandro our guide was knowledgeable, and delivered a tour which throughly exceeded our expectations. His English language skills were great, but more importantly was his knowledge and love of Lucca and the surrounding area. We would definitely do another tour with him. The ride itself even in 32 degree heat was easily manageable for two moderately fit people in their 40s, so why not give it a go and at the end of the 4 hour tour we felt we had earnt our aperol spritz!
