Great experience! We loved it. We learned a ton about how the marble quarry works and they took us to several locations including a quarry INSIDE the mountain. The experience wasn't rushed and they allowed us a lot of time to see, touch, ask questions and take pictures. Definitely an experience you can't see in many places and I highly recommend adding this to your list of must do things in Italy!

Really fun experience in cozy setting. Dinner at the end of class was amazing! The instructor was warm, inviting and fun. Loved the outdoor patio.

A very average tour at best. Lots of background information on the castle, but the guide had little knowledge of wine apart from learned script, and virtually no information was given on production,quality and complexity of the wines. The wine tasting was extremely rushed and not professional in the least. An extremely disappoiting experience.

This was a great rustic experience - the chance to meet a real goat farmer and his herd. We watched as the goats came obediently into the milking parlour and we're invited to place the tubes on to the goats' teats. Our host did a good job in limited English to explain everything to us and to answer our questions and to communicate his passion for his animals and his work. Afterwards, we enjoyed sampling the different kinds of cheese made from the milk and also some of our host's home made conserves. We were the only visitors on this occasion - perhaps not surprisingly as the farm is in a very rural location. There may have been space in the milking parlour for a few more visitors - but not too many! But if you want to see a genuine farm at work and to sample their artisinal produce, we can recommend this.

I’m sure that the tasting would been very good, but we canceled because it would have taken us over two hours by bus to get there. It is advertised as though you can take the train but there is no train going there.

This was a fun experience where my friends and i learned how to make pici pasta, dried olive crusted filet and a delicious Parmesan flan. Sylvia was such a vivacious chef/teacher. It was very interactive and our lunch was delicious and accompanied by tasty wince selections. The view is stunning (like so many in Tuscany). Highly recommend!

We arrived at the appointed place on time. No tour operator showed up and I never received a phone call or email. I tried the number for the company but it was out of order. I emailed about a refund and have not received a response. It's very disappointing because we will not be in the Carrara region again, having traveled from the United States.

Overall i consider it average. Title rather misleading. No Vineyards tours. Nevertheless for the cost we have paid is OK

Lovely winery in beautiful grounds(1441 old castle) was a last minute decision as there is many options in the region but with more complex tastings, but this one was just right, winery itself is no older than 25 years but age doesn’t define this wine, our oenophile guide was a gentleman with perfect English, we were lucky as we were 3 and tour was quite exclusive ☺️, highly recommended!

It’s a great view into a unique place, with its history and importance in the arts and design… but not only! I need to make a very strong complaint around the lack of emotional intelligence by the Tour owner/lead. His rudeness was evident after less than 5’ after our arrival (15’ before start time as suggested). He was abrupt with myself and my guests telling us not to touch anything and to just wait under the sun as he wasn’t ready. I then tried to help and introduced myself by first name using the informal ‘tu’ mode thinking this would create empathy with the tour guide with whom we would spend the next 3 hours… he looked at me and said do not address me with ‘tu’ but only with the formal ‘lei’ … I asked why and he replied: this is the way I want it! Shocked by the rudeness and lack of empathy (why choose tourism and a people-facing role as a career?) I decided to ignore the issue and continue the tour (I had 8 tickets with guests from Australia!). His edgy behaviour was again on display when, after an informative presentation at one of the stops, he put down every single person who had dared ask a question saying things like: ‘that’s the wrong question to ask’ or ‘I have already answered this’ etc… I saw people Walk away from the ‘English speaking’ group and join the Italian guide (a you g and very pleasant architect) and nobody dared asking questions at the second stop. The gentleman should really consider the impact he has on people and in the mercies they will bring back home to their countries. He is not representative of the warm and friendly spirit of most of us Italians. By the way I left him a tip against my good judgment….! The caves are amazing!

Just an amazing experience to see the open pit quarry and to enter into the mountain to see how the process works for the cave mine.

Everything it was amazing unmissable the winas are superb worth a tour of the vineyards to see how it's made beautiful big house full of history in a beautiful setting

We throughly enjoyed the balance of a DYI and chef-prepped dinner in our villa. They brought everything we needed to make a 3-course meal, the translator was informative and friendly, and the chef a delightful guide. And they cleaned up and put away all the leftovers. A great way to “stay in” while dining well in Cortona.

They were not there. The host had no idea we were coming. Did not have the class. The host did not speak English as requested.

The host cancelled 50 minutes before the scheduled meet up time. Because of this, we were unable to attend any cooking class while in Italy, which was one of the activities we were looking forward to the most.
