About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- MirabelPE0 contributionsFlorence brought to life!Elisabetta was a magnificent host. She showed us places and things we would never have found on our own. She brought the city to life with her descriptions and stories of the history, the architecture, the artwork, and the culture. The depth of her knowledge was extraordinary, and we even learned she studies for each tour she leads! Elisabetta is a delightful personality, with a warmth and sense of humour that enhances every moment with her. We LOVED our time with her!Written December 17, 2019

- Eric H0 contributionsVery good day in Florence!!Being our first time in Florence, and after having similar great experiences in other first time visited cities, we signed up with Elisabetta for her 6 hour walking tour of Florence. We are very glad we did. Overall we had a great experience and very efficiently saw most of the main attractions to see in Florence. She was very pleasant and knowledgeable, and was able to provide great commentary and background information on the sites and pieces of art we saw. The one thing I enjoy most about these types of tours is learning about things that you would never find out on your own; i.e. places and sites you wouldn't think to visit, restaurants, and the best gelato place in Florence! I would recommend Elisabetta highly and check out her website as she has several other tour options. Eric-Krisite....Written July 10, 2017
- ShenhuaFable0 contributionsExcellent tour guide - highly recommendMy family and I had a 5 hour tour with Elisabetta. We saw the Uffizi, Academia and Duomo among many other things. Elisabetta tailored the tours precisely to our requests. She is also extremely knowledgable about the history and artworks. Finally, she is a delightful person making the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend Elisabetta.Written May 31, 2017
- tlucin0 contributionsExcellent visitWe visit florence in may and we like to visit some wineries, we dont want crowed tours, because we like to interactive with the local culture and learn about it. Our best find was this incredible tour guided, in less than a day, Elisabetta manage to put it together one trip for us, help us with the transportation, the reserved to the wineries, lunch, visit the villages and told us so much history of each of one, that was amazing. The trip was great, and she give us a lot of pointers and tips for the next day in florence, i can tell she love what she do and that is amazing! If you think to go out side of florence or visit it, your best choice is Elisabetta Pini. TaniaWritten May 7, 2017

- LocalColorSusan0 contributionsDo spend time with Elisabetta! We spent an afternoon with Elisabetta and learned so much about the highlights of the Uffizi and the duomo. She asked what topics/sites we were particularly interested in, and kept us fascinated the entire time. She is extremely knowledgeable about her field. We would like to return to explore some smaller towns outside Florence with her.Written November 9, 2016
- CM Family0 contributionsMaybe it was just an off dayWe booked a two hour tour of Florence based on the glowing TA reviews. All communication was very clear and we met up as arranged. The tour started out fine with some good historical background, but after the first hour the tour seemed to lose focus and we ended about 15min early. Compared to other private tours taken, this one was a bit disappointing in terms of the sites covered and the explanations given. Our teens were more interested in taking photos than listening to the guide: not sure if this affected the tour?Written August 26, 2016
- DianaMFK0 contributionsGuided tour of the UffiziMany thanks to Elizabetta who gave us an excellent tour of the Uffizzi, in English. We enjoyed the tour very much, feel we learned a lot and that Elizabetta was a very interesting guide, explained the background and significance of each picture with humour and clarity. A very memorable afternoon thank you.Written August 21, 2016
- Liz D0 contributionsWorth every Euro!We had a walking tour with Elisabetta our first afternoon in Florence, which was a great overview of the city and its history. We were there 5 years ago but wanted a refresher and someone to help us connect the visit with a history of the Renaissance in Florence we had read. Elisabetta delivered. The next day we had a private tour of the Uffizi Gallery with her that got us past crowds and gave us rich details and insight you can only get from one-on-one tours. We would have missed so much without her commentary. After visiting Sienna and other cities we came back to Florence and asked her to accompany us to the Pitti Palace. Again, we had a wonderful experience and she connected the works and artists to things we had seen and learned earlier. She actually brought along pages from art history books with explanations and a family tree for the Medici family. Wow. We texted throughout our trip and she suggested other interesting things to see and do on our trip. Not only is she knowledgeable, she is pleasant to be with. Grazie, Elisabetta! - foodfanUK0 contributionsA real lover of FirenzeElisabetta is fabulous - a great sense of humour, exceptional knowledge and a passion for Firenze. Other reviewers have commented on the depth of her knowledge and her engagement with her clients, I would concur wholeheartedly with them. Unfortunately we only had an afternoon with Elisabetta but it was very worthwhile.Written May 9, 2016
- Timothy T0 contributionsOrientation Tour FlorenceElisabetta met us across from Palazzo Pitti and thus began the ultimate tour of Florence. We explained that we wanted to get the "geography" and some of the history - not go inside any buildings. This is definitely what she delivered. At the end of many, many walking steps we knew where the sites we wanted to visit were .. she even suggested others outside the core area of Firenze. This lady knows history and substance of Firenze. My wife and I highly recommend contacting Elisabetta for any number of tour options she offers.Written May 6, 2016
- gschmidt9320 contributionsA GUIDE WHO KNOWS HER BUSINESS!Elisabetta provided a half-day walking tour for us on our 25th anniversary (6 years ago!) that we will never, never forget! She asked in advance about our interests, and because top on our list was architecture and its intersection with history, she took us to practically empty streets and a church, no other tourists around, and gave us real insight to how the neighborhood was developed over the centuries, and how buildings and their features reflected the times in which they were built. Then she took us to the museum and showed us the development of art over the centuries using only paintings of Mary and the Christ Child. She was charming, VERY knowledgeable, and fun!Written March 21, 2016
- Band M0 contributionsbest of FlorenceMe and my family had experienced the best attraction because of the Elisabetta, she is a main factor of known the best of that great city, i am considering her one of the best attractions in Florence with out her we won't feel the beauty of the trip -)Written January 9, 2016

Elisabetta
