Great tour, lots of information about the architecture and artwork inside the Duomo. Would recommend as a quick guided tour to enable skip line and do other visits during a day trip.

Our tour with guide was everything promised. We were met at the appointed location by Veronica and zipped right past a long line of people waiting to enter the Duomo. Veronica was an excellent guide, giving us a detailed history of the Cathedral, both the initial construction and subsequent additions and renovations of the interior and exterior. She also gave a detailed explanation of the fresco in the dome, pointing out the five rings, the meaning of the various figures and how they related to the Book of Revelations.

Great to get in ahead of the queues..
However we couldn’t hear the commentary easily. The guides enthusiasm was good though her English was ok, but not great. It would have been better with headsets..

No one told us a meeting point and when told we could not find our guide at the location. We had to walk around the cathedral to not even find our guide.

Beware of this tour! My husband and 2 kids were waiting for 15 minutes in advance of the tour and could not find guide so they missed the tour. I messaged immediately in the TripAdvisor app and no response. Eventually I had to make the international phone call to reach someone. The operator will not let us rebook for another day. Terrible service and communication.

We really liked the lady who did our tour, she was super knowledgeable and best of all it was easy to find the representative at the meeting point, can’t say that about every toward that we tried on our trip! There was so much cool and useful information that we learned a lot and it was fun doing so. Some thing I wish I knew ahead is that this tour does NOT include access to the areas where you walk up to the roof or down below the duomo (two cool areas that were sold out they day if our tour… and we didn’t get to see them as a result, thought those would’ve been included, but they are not… it’s the main area inside the main level of the duomo only). If you want to access the roof or underground areas, buy tickets for those areas separately, ahead of time because they sell out.

Lovely expressive guide and wonderful to slip the long time
Unfortunately, aside from the dome, we were underwhelmed as it is sparsely decorated and rather austere. The outside was my favorite part!
