      Pasta and tiramisu class
This experience was great! I was welcomed into the home of the cutest couple that were so warm and welcoming. Definitely would do again next time I am here.

      A magical and delicious evening!
My family of four were hosted by Lucrezia and Christina for a private pasta-making class and the experience was magical. The setting, an old farmhouse nestled into the Tuscan vineyards that provided our wine for the evening, was breathtaking. Lucrezia was warm and welcoming, and both she and Christina were excellent instructors. We gathered our ingredients from the property’s garden and then made two types of bruschetta, a zucchini salad, two types of pasta, and tiramisu for dessert. Lucrezia and Christina kept all of us engaged, laughing and learning the whole way through. Highly recommend this experience!

Awesome cooking class in the countryside
We recently visited Italy with our two grown daughters and their husbands and of all our experiences in all of the places we visited, our cooking class in the home of Maria Cristina was one of our favorites. Since we had 6 people, Maria Cristina and her husband, Marco, picked us up in town and drove us out into the country outside of Florence to their beautifully restored farm house that was originally built in the 1300’s. They were so welcoming and Maria Cristina got to work teaching us how to make a traditional Italian meal including homemade pasta and fresh sauce, bruschetta, roast pork with a prune sauce and tiramisu for dessert. It was delicious and we had so much fun helping and learning together. Over dinner, Marco gave us a history lesson about some of the effects of WWII in the area. They are such a warm and welcoming couple and we truly felt like we had just had dinner at a good friend’s home. I would highly recommend adding this experience to any visit to Florence. Sincerely , Karen & Kevin Londeen -and family.

So much more than a cooking class!
I would highly recommend this option if you are looking for a cooking class! It was SO much more than a cooking class! It was very personal and so lovely to spend time with our host. She welcomed us into her beautiful home just outside the city. We visited in her living room for a bit just to get to know each other and I instantly fell in love with our host. She was so informative and shared fun stories about life in Italy. We then moved to the kitchen and made tiramisu and pasta, drank wine and enjoyed treats. Once the meal was ready we all sat at her dining room table overlooking the city and ate a meal together while we shared more stories. It felt so personal and perfect, as it was just me, my daughter and our host. It felt more like having lunch with a friend, all the while experiencing more than just good food! I would absolutely not only recommend, but encourage this activity. It was wonderful and a highlight of our trip!

Perfect family evening in Italy with Cecelia
Cooking and dining with Cecelia was the highlight of our family’s trip to Italy. To be invited into her kitchen and learn to make ravioli and tiramisu was a treat. Cecelia is a warm and welcoming host and teacher and to enjoy our own handiwork over a bottle of Chianti while overlooking Florence was unforgettable. This is a perfect way to spend a night in Italy.

Great Evening Learning to Make Pasta!
We had a wonderful time! We really enjoyed speaking with our host, learning traditional Italian pasta dishes, and eating the delicious meal. (It honestly may have been some of the best pasta we tried in Venice...) Loved it so much, we purchased a pasta machine for use at home to carry on what we learned!

Great cooking and intercultural experience - thank you!
An outstanding experience! Luca's kitchen and home were perfect for this class and his genuine interest in teaching us about how to make pasta was inspiring! Dinner (which we helped to cook) and easy-going conversation made the evening one to remember forever - Thanks!

      FANTASTIC PASTA CLASS!!
Valeria and Valentina were outstanding. We began our afternoon seated in a beautiful living room where we munched on light snacks, had a drink, and got to know one another. Then they set up a folding table and brought out all of the ingredients we would be using for our meal. We began with an easy and delicious cherry ricotta tart. Then we moved on to making our own fresh pasta dough and rolled into long strands. While the pasta rested, we made a yummy bruschetta of tomato, basil, and olives. And we finished the whole thing off by learning to make a traditional cacio e pepe sauce. Valeria and Valentina were so fun and patient. They spoke flawless English. My husband who NEVER cooks, was completely engaged, and under our teachers' wonderful guidance, was able to make the whole meal and love it! We even bought all of the equipment and supplies once we returned home and have had pasta making parties with friends and family. It's such a great and social experience. Don't miss this class with Valentina and Valeria. They are THE BEST!

Memorable evening with a lovely host
Silvia created such a lovely experience with us in her charming and spacious home. Her kitchen is well-appointed and perfectly suited to demonstrating how she prepares the various recipes. She was very thorough in her explanations and had sourced beautiful, fresh produce and other local ingredients for the evening's meal. The gnocchi were pillow-soft and melted in my mouth, and the meat sauce was superb. There were only two of us attending (sisters-in-law), so the three of us had a really intimate evening and of course invited Silvia to join us in enjoying the delicious meal she'd just prepared. I highly recommend this experience for those looking to meet and learn from a local who lives right in the heart of the medieval center of Lucca.

      Pasta!
A great experience; learning some ways to make better sauces than we had attempted before taking the class. Just the 2 of us working in the kitchen with a wonderful teacher

      Disappointing!
Travelled from Riomaggiore by train. Could not get a taxi. Called to let them know. No-one answered - went to voice mail which was in Italian (and I don't speak Italian). Myself and my family tried for 1 and 1/2 hrs to get a taxi but no luck. When i contacted the provider via email for a partial or full refund (as it cost me over $1000 Australian dollars) the answer was no as I didn't call/speak to anyone on the day. Very frustrating and expensive for no experience. Advice to anyone wanting to do this activity - make sure you can get there!

      Memorable, fun and informative!
We had a great time making pici in a tomato and vegetable sauce, gnocchi in a cacio e pepe sauce and tiramisù. Our host, Barbara was very hospitable and showed us how to make delicious Tuscan dishes in her well-equipped home. She had recommendations for restaurants in the towns/cities we were visited and even sent us her recipes so we could make them at home. Our friends and family have enjoyed trying our best efforts at Tuscan cuisine! This was one of the best memories from our trip, we highly recommend this experience!

We had a great time making pasta, pumpkin, and a great dessert. Really a different experience, and we were so lucky to have such a great night and learn so much. Highly recommended.
