About
We will meet in Florence and, on board our luxury van, we will take you to discover a still unexplored place in Tuscany: the Mugello. An area north of Florence, very close to the city, wild and unspoiled. We will take you to discover this area rich in history and traditions where the Medici family originates ... you can still feel them in the air ... And - once we reach Scarperia - a small medieval village in the heart of Mugello - we will stop at Golf Poggio de 'Medici, one of the most beautiful courses in Tuscany and there you can play and challenge 18 beautiful and difficult holes. It is important to us that you have a fantastic experience that combines sport with culture, the environment and good food. For this, during the game, you will have a caddy dedicated to you; at the 9th hole a small light lunch will be served and ... at the 19th hole we will pamper you with a dinner based on local and organic products, with wine tasting led by a sommelier.

Caterina picked us up from our airbnb and drove us a short distance to the local golf course. We were greeted at the course by Eduardo who caddied for for us and gave us plenty of tips/guidance along the way. He is a pro! Eduardo’s son Lorenzo joined as well who is an accomplished young golfer and fine young man. We had fun and enjoyed walking the challenging 9-hole course. Next, Caterina drove us to Casa Sola winery which is located in the Chianti Classico area of Tuscany, explaining all about the wine and region on the way. When we arrived we had a private tour of the winery, a tasting of several Chianti Classico wines, and four course lunch. We loved it so much we ordered wine, balsamic and olive oil and shipped it back to the U.S. We definitely recommend booking this golf and wine tour!!Written July 15, 2023

The night before I received a message from the tour operator she had been in an accident and had to cancel. We did receive a full refund. I do hope she’s okay. So disappointed though. Caterina picked us up from our air bnb and drove us to meet her husband Eduardo at the local golf course. We had fun walking the small but challenging 9 hole course and even played a few extra holes. Eduardo gave us many tips and pointers throughout our round. Next, Caterina drove us to Chianti Classico, explaining all about the wine and region on the way. When we arrived we had a private tour, tasting, and “light” four course lunch. We ended up shipping some wine back to the states it was so good. - syk15060 contributionsGreat experience for golf player and wine lover!!!!I booked the day as birthday present for my husband and have to thank Catarina and Eduardo SO much for the great experience. it was absolutely splendid, so well organized and we had so much fun! Eduardo is a very professional golf teacher and even their son Lorenzo is already a golf profi ;-) so they made my husband very happy at the golf course. Afterwards we had such a tasty lunch together with Catarina in a small and wonderful restaurante with an professional high-quality winetasting of wellchosen organic wine we loved so much. Catarina and Eduardo are so professional but lovely and easygoing. From the beginning to the end they organized everything for us, even the weather ;-) it was so easy. We had a wonderful sunny day in Florence with them we will never forget. thanks so much Catarina and Eduardo, we definitely book with you again next year.Written January 3, 2020

We had a wonderful experience! They were wonderful hosts. We played golf, and had a great wine and meal pairing. They took care of all our needs and we’re fantastic hosts. The golf course was had amazing views. Great day.
