- 196MarkH00Probably good but it's all about the tour guide. This was a bit of a strange experience. The tour guide was unique. Her mannerisms and behaviors were that of a elementary school teacher ushering a group of students around a busy museum. Her first stop was by the bathrooms. Really? Were we 5 year olds? Then throughout the tour, she was somewhat dictatorial in where we where to stand and look. It was clear she had good art history knowledge but her delivery was off-putting.
- 1ky00Museum tours.Guide was great and accommodated various levels of agility. Showed stairs vs elevator etc. He was very knowledgeable and friendly and funny.
- Kathryn K00Great Academia tourWe loved our semi- private tour of the Academia. We were surprised this was really a private tour with just my husband & I and our tour guide. We have been on several group tours with other companies, & it was great to be able to ask questions. Our tour guide connected the gap with much of the art & history we had seen in Florence, & and she was very knowledgeable about the art pieces & their history & stories at the Academia. The tour started a little roughly for us, which was our fault. We didn't go to the right meeting place. We went to the Accademia, but the meeting point was 15 min away at the tour companies' office, probably because street by the Accademia was packed & confusing. Another tour guide called our guide for us, & she was able to find us, and we had our full wonderful tour. We weren't tremendously surprised, but you do still have to cue up in a line for your timeslot, even with the skip the line ticket, & at 10 am, the entrance times were already running behind. Our tour guide kept us occupied with info about the city, while we waited, & time passed quickly.
- lorisV4594DO00Great Experience! Our guide was fantastic! She gave insightful information that allowed for greater appreciation of the pieces of art we viewed. The Gallery was very crowded on the day we visited but our guide navigated us through with ease.
- lisarG7426UH00Not a 3.5 hour tourOur tour guide, Camilla, was terrific. However, we didn't get the complete 3.5 hour tour. We began at 9:20 which is a little earlier than the scheduled 9:30 start time, but that was perfectly fine. We expected to have a private tour that would list until 12:50 but Camilla wrapped it up right at noon. We were a bit surprised, especially after we saw her leading another tour group right after she left us. We questioned her about it and she called the manager who tried to offer up the explanation that wait times in line were factored into the overall schedule. However, because the "skip the line" feature of our ticket enabled us to wait only a few minutes before entering the Accademia, we felt a bit short-changed. The "City Florence Tours" should make it clear to prospective tourists that 3.5 hours might not accurately reflect the amount of time that the guide is explaining things. We did get a partial refund for the overall cost, but we would have preferred to have a full 3.5 hour tour instead. That's what we thought we were getting when we paid for this very expensive tour. Our advice to others would be to ask a lot of questions in advance and to, perhaps, think twice about booking this tour.
- janicejR9640TN00Great museum tourThomas was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable; he explained the exhibits with wit & humour. We saw the major artits' works. We joined a queue for 25 minutes at the Uffezi even though we were a pre-booked tour group. Quite a walk to the Accademia. We were able to go straight through the crowds queing here. The sight of David was breath taking. Something we'll never forget. Booking the small group guided tour was the best way to see both museums as we witnessed the long lines queing for tickets all day during the course of our week in Florence.
- joedY9612IW00Good tour and guide but disappointing logisticsOur guide was wonderful. Tour operator was mediocre at best. It was not clear that there was a 2 hour wait between the 2 tours. Also, we waited an extra 15 minutes before the second departure waiting for another couple rather than starting on time and having them catch up. The second tour (David and Accademia) were therefore rushed and we had to leave prior to conclusion as we had other scheduled plans. The Uffizi was amazing and not to be missed. Accademia was interesting but David was certainly the high point.
- jiebo00Insightful tourI thought this tour was everything we had hoped for. Let me go through the whole experience before talking about my views. Firstly, you meet at their office, which is on the adjacent street of the Uffizi. This is actually a wise decision because there's a clear meeting point and it was easy to organise the logistics of the tour. Next, we were handed the mic receiver. We used our own earphones which is obviously better. We then walked towards Uffizi, and the moment we stepped out of City Florence Tours, the guide was on at 100%. The whole tour was just exceptional. She expertly led us through the gallery going through the important details of the paintings. I think the best part of Uffizi is the opportunity to go through the progress of the Renaissance with the actual works in front of you. We started with late medieval headlined by Giotto, early Renaissance with Sandro Botticelli, the usual masters, ending with Titian and Caravaggio in the second floor. The tour was incredibly insightful and well paced. I understand going for tours are always a bit of a hit-and-miss because it really depends on the guide you got. Fortunately for us, our guide was absolutely amazing.
- Sheila_walls00Semi private tour with 6 people.Much busier than we expected. (September) Larger groups cutting right infront of us. Audio was not the best. Our guide was nice and friendly but hard to understand at times.
- Resort82957300Skipping the "escort".Skipping the queue is definitely the way to go when you don't want to waste a moment of your time in this stunning Renaissance city. I did have a little chuckle to myself about the "escorted" part of the description. I picked up my ticket and the polite lady behind the counter walked with me to the door and explained how to take two left turns and find door 1😹😹😺
- katewC8549OZ00Great TourOur guide was super knowledgeable and the tour was well organised. Felt like we learnt a lot and we thoroughly enjoyed it! Would definitely recommend.
- Love Ö00Loved it!!Michelangelo's David is huuuge!!! So much bigger then i thought it would be! So cool to see it in real life.
- T8875XUpierrea00Very goof tourA very good tour. It was very informative and we enjoyed it. We thought it was well organized and the guide was very good, recommended
- jjs767600Excellent Uffizi + Accademia TourThree of us travelled to Florence and wanted to take in the sites. This tour offered both the Uffizi and Accademia where the David statue is located. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. One of us had developed sever knee problems prior to arriving in Florence that required the us of a wheelchair. The guide arranged for one and actually pushed the chair around the Uffizi during the tour. I highly recommend this tour.
- JForgash700Excellent, thorough tour that provides a guide through the history of Florentine artAbsolutely fantastic tour. Our guide (unfortunately I can't remember his name but he had glasses) gave fantastic and detailed explanations of the paintings we viewed from the late middle ages through the Renaissance, and provided detailed explanations of how the art evolved through time. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in art

It is not priority tickets, it's just pre booked tickets. The tickets cost 12+ 15 Euro per person but booking this here costed 115 for 2 persons. No guide or anything else. Complete rip off. Avoid!!

Dear Customer, we are sorry that your experience with us was not satisfactory. We would like to clarify that it is clearly written that the guide is not included in the service. Furthermore, the meaning of "priority" is the same as "booked". Our agency books tickets in advance and guarantees you entry to both museums, without waiting for things to change or buy tickets. The only line you have to do, in this bad period, unfortunately, is the line of 10-15 minutes for the anti Covid-19 vaccination certificate. We also remind you that the tickets you have purchased are 4 (2 for the Uffizi and 2 for the Academy) at a cost of € 16 each, for a total of € 64. you paid € 115 because there is also the commission of the VIATOR platform from which you booked and obviously the cost of the service paid to the agency. Be careful, it should be clear that when you book with VIATOR you have to pay a commission.
Greetings,

These two museums were on my bucket list. The ability to skip the line and devote more time in the museums was a life (and feet) saver. Even though it was not peak travel season, there were still lines to get into the museums. Seeing these masterpieces in person was a spiritual experience.

Today's tours with Martina were fantastic. She was extremely knowledgeable about everything we saw, gave us background knowledge to better appreciate what we were seeing. Very entertaining and engaging presentations, I'm ready for trivia nights on the Medicis! Martina's knowledge of the buildings helped us see so much more, more quickly than we could have done on our own. If I'd do one thing different it would be see David first and finish in Ufuzzi to explore more on my own. Special thanks for the helping bookingfrom Marco.

It was too crowded so worth to have skip the line tickets for sure.
Having time slot made a little rush to finish one museum and rush to other one in crowd.
But definitely worth it.

We booked a skip the line ticket and then proceeded to wait for a long time in a long line in the hot sun to be admitted to the Accademia. Not only that, we had to go back again to an inconvenient redemption point to get the afternoon tickets for the Uffuzi, which was not close at all to the Uffuzi. I feel like I paid a lot of money to wait in line. Not satisfied

Very good exhibits. So it’s still 5 star for me. However , I did expect for priority ticket to get in quickly. No issues with Uffizi but the Academia was a long queue and wait for 30 minutes under the hot sun.

always buy a skip the line ticket in advance. I would suggest Viator for tickets and go at a set time. Make sure you go early because you usually meet at a pre-designated place nearby the main event. Our man SHABID waited an extra 10 minutes for us because we got wrong directions for the Uffizi gallery. NEVER ASK A LOCAL FOR DIRECTIONS UNLESS THEY HAVE GPS. you'll be steered wrong every time. Tourists know more where to find the attractions

Our group of six was unable to find the designated building to pick up our tickets and completely missed our tour of the museums. There was no refund. We went another day (during the week and not too early). There was no line.
We do not recommend this arrangement. Purchase your tickets directly at and from the museums!

Dear reviewer,
sorry for this negative experience. We are responding to this review to tell you that your group has never tried to look for our office, we were the ones who contacted you by phone and you answered that you would never come because you had canceled the booking, something that does not appear on the platform. We had already bought your tickets and we could not refund them because we had already paid everything. As for the entry without a queue, our service concerns a priority entry, with a pre-established time that guarantees entry, going alone the entrance is not guaranteed. With all the others reservations for this product, we never had problem with the meeting place.
Thanks and Best Regards,

We met with the group and discovered that in our tickets somewhere on the second page it stated: the guide is not included. Well, never mind - 15-20 min in the “skip the line” queue and we were in the museum. Walked by ourselves. Free to spend the whole day - this was absolutely fine.
Uffizi: Amazing views in the galleries and out the windows. Very interesting however overpriced as you can get a better deal directly from the museum- pls see the pics with the offer.
Academia: small and nothing to see apart from magnificent David and 4 unfinished Leonardo’s torsos.

Dear Elena,
Thank you for the review. Like we wrote on the title of the product “PRIORITY TICKETS” the guide is not included and this is really clear, is a product with tickets included, reservations fees and escorted entrance for the first museum “Uffizi Gallery”. Hope to see you again in Florence to do a tour with us.
Best regards,

No ventilation. Very crowded. With the crowds, very stuffy for a warm day. LOTS of statues. After a while they all look alike. Same with the paintings.

I was told I should get the "City Museum Pass" for abo0ut 80 Euros. This seems more like a tour. Do you also offer the "City Museum Pass" or can you direct me to it?
Thank you very much,
John

On the Viator site, this item does not include a guide or audio, yet the trip advisor review praises the perfect tour guide 'Martina'! Somewhat misleading I think...
*Likely to sell out: Based on Viator’s booking data and information from the provider from the past 30 days, it seems likely this experience will sell out through Viator, a Tripadvisor company.
