This is a great car service. My son and I use them during the week we were in Florence. We were taken to the vineyards of Tuscany, the mall for outlet shopping and pick up and drop off for the airport. Despite some unexpected flight changes. This company was so accommodating to meet our travel needs. I highly recommend them to anybody and plan on using them each and every time I’m in Florence.

Cilo was a great tour guide and driver. The winery where we had lunch, Poggio Amorelli in Chianti Classico, was the best part of the trip!

Carlo, our driver, was excellent! Due to a marathon in Florence we had to start our trip a little early to avoid closed roads. To account for time before our first vineyard Carlo surprised us with a stop at the Florence WWII US Military Cemetery. It was such a moving experience. Carlo is also studying to be a Somalia so he talked with us about wines and the vineyards we visited. He really made the trip an exceptional experience. The vineyards and lunch were excellent too.

Amazing show and amazing service by our driver Francesca. She was prompt safe and friendly. She waited for us in the parking lot and made a stop or two for us upon request.

This was a wonderful day out - our driver Michela arrived in her Mercedes V class Van at our accommodation to pick the 4 of us up, she drove us through the various districts of Florence as ww headed out on country roads to our first stop in a little village Greve for a wander through the square and coffee. Michela had a lot of knowledge about the area and it was an interesting drive to our first vineyard in Tuscany. Poggio Amorelli was our first vineyard and a very interesting tour followed by a beautiful wine tasting and Olive Oil/Balsamic tasting lunch We then went to a lovely typical Chianti village and wandered down the Main Street , onwards through some beautiful scenery Onwards to the next winery at Villa La Corti for a tour and tasting here It was a great day out and worth the money Thank you Gianluca for organising and Michela for making it interesting The Reid family

What a wonderful day. Our driver/guide Marco picked us up at the hotel and we proceeded to spend the day in Chianti including stops at 3 vineyards. The second vineyard we had a lovely tour and enjoyed a leisurely lunch and wine tasking. Such a great day and Marco outstanding !

Private Wine Tour VIP Wines and Wineries of Chianti Classico, Mercedes E Class Sedan, Viator, GT Gianluca Tours; Our private tour of the distinct area designated Chianti Classico within the Chianti Region was wonderful, a terrific day, everything as advertised by Viator and GT Gianluca Tours. Marko, our guide and driver, arrived for us exactly on time in a spotless Mercedes Series E Sedan providing us delightfully comfortable cruising. A well-informed man with a great personality and perfect English, Marko is a delightful and vigorous conversationalist. He is Italian, married to an American, a professional artist who is making a living at her craft. They have 3 children. Over several hours, we discussed the fine wine grown in Chianti Classico plus the history of wine growing in the region beginning with the Etruscans followed by the Romans and much later the Medici and the Antinori on to the present, the creation of one of the major wine producing regions of the world. We touched on many of the great wines of Italy, and many anecdotes about prominent people in the region. We enjoyed fun exchanges on Formula 1 racing, olive farming (Marko grows olives) to American politics. Besides our stops, Marko pointed out many well-known wineries as we drove. The stark beauty of the steep hillsides and deep ravines of Chianti Classico made for lovely scenery, but I was glad to have Marko driving. We made three lovely stops for tasting, the huge Marchese Antinori facility near Bagna a Passignano, delicious boutique lunch at Poggio Amerelli in Castellina in Chianti, and Princippe Corsini in San Casciano val di Pesa. We thoroughly enjoyed the wine at each, and the especially welcoming hospitality at Poggio Amerelli. As we drove, Marko pointed out the town of Panzano in the distance. We immediately recognized it as the home of Dario Cecchini, famous on American TV food shows as “The Mad Butcher of Panzano.” We took a brief detour and met Cecchini on the street, a fun encounter. We really appreciated Marko’s tour and his care and kindness throughout. This tour was a major highlight of our trip to Tuscany..

Lucca was an amazing driver and taught us so much about the Italian culture! We enjoyed a relaxing day, visiting three different wineries. With tours like this, I feel like it would be easy for the driver to just drop us off at each location and that be it, but that wasn’t our experience with Lucca. My husband tends to get motion sick, which is why we decided to do a private tour versus a bus in the first place, and Lucca was so attentive and accommodating to this. He allowed him to ride in the front seat, supplied endless water, and offered multiple times to let him know if we needed to take some breaks to walk. The drive was smooth and easy! Lucca offered to take pictures for us at scenic locations throughout the visit and showed us some spectacular views of the Chianti region, that otherwise we would have never seen. We enjoyed a quick stop at the Grevi market, exploring the square and a stop at Piazzo Michaelago on the way back into Florence. Lucca spent time answering all of our questions, he taught us about wine, gave recommendations for dining, and we spent the majority of the trip in relaxing conversation. To end a great day, Lucca was kind enough to drive out of his way to take us to our dinner reservation early, so that we did not have to walk across town from our Air Bnb. We both agreed that this experience was well worth the cost and that Lucca is truly was made the experience!

Gianluca was absolutely amazing. He promptly picked us up from our hotel in a very comfortable, clean and luxurious car. This trip was by far the highlight of our trip. The 3 wineries were all very unique, but fantastic in their own way. Strongly suggest you add this private tour to your itinerary, as both my wife and I had an amazing time. The countryside was the most beautiful of all of Florence in our opinion. Thank you Gianluca for the best part of our vacation.

Absolutely one of the best days of my life!!!! They take you to small boutique wineries. The absolute best food served that I’ve ever tasted ! Wow ! Enrik our driver was the best he literally gave us a tour while we visited the wineries. I cannot say enough about these tours and food. Literally heaven !

An excursion my family and I will never forget. Wow what a day. The sights were amazing. Definitely well worth it.

Gianiluca was just the most wonderful driver imaginable. He was very knowledgeable about the Chianti region, and provided us with so much great information and he was also very kind and very accommodating. The first winery he took us to was a large winery, and though the winery was great, and the wine was also great, we really enjoyed the second winery better. The second winery was a small family owned winery and had a much richer experience. We had lunch at that winery and had a great time. All in all it was well worth every penny, we spent, and should be an experience that others should also do when in Tuscany.

This was the best experience of our whole trip! I was lucky to find Gianluca on the internet and corresponded through whatsapp. I wanted have a tailored private experience to see the tuscan landscape but only do one winery. Gianluca was very quick to respond and was able to modify it to what we wanted. Gianluca picked us on time in a beautiful Mercedes and he took us to Siena, then a beautiful must winery with food called Poggio Amorelli, and finally San Gimignano. Gianluca was very friendly, funny, and gave us a lot of information about the area. He was so professional and you can tell that his number one priority is that we had an amazing time. Also, we never felt rushed even when we went a little over time. Overall, I could not recommend this tour enough!
