    Wonderful David with Rosa
We had great experience with Rosa, she was well informed, explained all details of masterpiece of gallery. Especially we liked rose on guiding stick which helped us to find her easily in crowd.

    A Beauty!
What a stunning beauty that the Florence Baptistery is - has such a good energy and feeling when inside, stooped in history, you feel very special to be here.

Excellent tour of art and history in Florence
We had an excellent 4 hr walking tour with Rosa who was extremely knowledgeable and genuinely interested in making sure we enjoyed the experience. She even generously gave us her own bus tickets to ride up to the viewing point and guided us after the tour too. We highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to learn about the artists and history of Florence.

    Great tour with Rosa!
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour today. Rosa was our tour guide for a group of 8 people. She was very knowledgeable, got us a front row view of the art, and even took pictures for us. We all enjoyed Rosa's spunky personality and the group was a lot of fun! Thanks for a great tour!

We were a group of 6 friends joining this walking tour yesterday. There were about 60 or more people joining this tour and we were divided into 3 groups of about 20 each. We enjoyed very much the brief history of Firenze given by Jacomo. He gave it in such a way that it was fun and interesting. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amazing museums and Incredible guide. Request Rosa if possible!
This trip to Italy has been a life-long dream. Visiting these 2 museums was wonderful. It's hard to describe. Our guide Rosa was incredible! Her knowledge and description of these artists was amazing. We had 11 people so she took the time to not only answer questions but take our picture in front of several paintings and sculptures. If there's any way to request her, do it. I can't imagine visiting these museums without her.

    Amazing tour of the David!
We had an exceptional tour of the David with Rosa on April 17! She is very knowledgeable of the history surrounding not only the David but the wonderful art we viewed. Rosa went above and beyond to ensure our group had a memorable experience! She is so enthusiastic and helpful!

    Very Informative
Very informative- the guide shared a lot of insights about the city, the art, and the buildings, and it was obvious that she had a deep understanding of the subject matter.

    Reminder of exquisite Florentine artistry
The Florence Baptistery is a reminder of the exquisite talent of Renaissance artists and craftsmen. The Baptistry is octagonal; its intended purpose is to baptize the believers of Florence. The Chistian faith was perpetuated. by the bronze doors, which narrate the immortal history of Christianity. The original doors were replaced by duplicates in modern days. The original doors are in the Museum. Brunelleschi's Dome is a related building, as is the Florence Cathedral. We saw the Baptistery. it is a testament. to Christian faith and Florentine artistry.

    Breathtaking Views...
I had a great experience with Viator for my Florence dome climb. I booked the tickets online and they were very easy to use. The climb was amazing. The views from the top were breathtaking, and I felt like I was in a different world. The dome is a masterpiece of architecture and art, and I'm so glad I got to see it up close. I highly recommend this booking for anyone who wants to climb the dome, especially since the tickets are often sold out. It was one of the highlights of my trip to Florence.

We (party of two) booked this tour in order to maximize our time at the two museums as we only had one day to visit them. While we did manage to make the Academia (which is pretty much a whirlwind sprint to the David missing the rest of the gallery) we were then lead to the Uffizi where out tour guide was refused entrance due to having a temperature that exceeded the limits. Security retook her temp at least 10 times taking other temps with the same thermometer all checking OK with others. Finally after wasting almost a half hour the refusal was firmly denied and we were then told they would try to find us another guide. No time line, just try to find another guide. At this point most of our group turned in our headsets and toured on our own. 1 Star is not because the guide's situation alone, but because the company has refused any recompense or adjustment for the tour.

Dear Patricia, We feel very sorry that you ended up not having the full experience with your tour guide. First of all, the Academy Gallery is a very small museum and it is advertised that the tour lasts 1 hour inside. David is, with no doubt, the most important attraction, but we are sure you saw other Michelangelo’s works with your guide that day. You also enjoyed a walking tour through the main squares of Florence and a voucher for free artisanal Florentine gelato. That day we had the misfortune of the Uffizi staff not allowing our tour guide inside because they measured her temperature as 40 degrees Celsius, which certainly was incorrect since she was clearly in good health and shape doing a 4 hour tour with you, and also she had her temperature measured at the Academy Gallery in the morning, and showed no fever. We did try to find another guide and we also offered you to reschedule to an afternoon tour, other participants joined another tour at 14:30 and were very satisfied, but you declined. Our manager also offered a partial refund knowing you did not get to complete the tour, you also declined, just handed back the radios and decided to enter the museum by yourselves. Unfortunately if the custodians at the museum didn’t the let guide go inside it is beyond our powers. Working with tourism during this period has not been easy, the season has just started to pick up again, Italy is thrilled to have you all back. Although we hoped our tourists were more understanding since we did our best to accommodate you. Florence&Global Tours

Absolutely terrible. Just a comedy of errors the whole way through.

It started with us getting denied entry to the museum because we had too many people in our group (not sure how the company didn't know there was a limit beforehand). Had to wait around for them to find a different group for some of our members to join.

The radios they gave us worked for about 70% of us, the rest heard audio from another tour guide. Our guide was unable to troubleshoot the issue. Those members whose radios didn't work understandably left the tour. However, for those whose radios worked, it was pointless anyway. We could only hear our guide when she talked directly into the microphone, which she kept forgetting to do. So we would hear bits and pieces of information for a short while, but soon our guide would stop speaking directly into the microphone and we couldn't hear anything again. Multiple times the group reminded her of this but eventually gave up after the fifth or sixth time she forgot to do it.

Even if the radios had worked, I can't imagine I would have enjoyed it. What little I heard from our guide was dry and monotone, mostly just telling us the name of the piece and when it was done. There is no way I could have listened to 4 hours of that.

By the time we got to the Uffizi, we somehow did not have enough tickets for everyone in the group and had to wait some twenty minutes for another guide to bring us more. Nobody was surprised at this point, it seemed par for the course.

Two more hours of aimlessly following our guide and not hearing anything she said left the group extremely agitated and desperately ready to leave. Most people stayed to the end out of politeness but no one was happy.

I could not believe how terrible the entire experience was or that I had wasted so much money on it.

Dear Ryan, We are distressed with how the tour went that day, and we don't question any of your comments. The Accademy Gallery has gone back to its full capacity, but limited the access for the groups, maximum of 9 people are allowed inside with a guide; this is something we are aware of but that day we got overbooked at the last minute, we fixed it by adding the extra clients into a different group. Our headsets work fine, there might be some interference inside the museums due to the presence of other tour guides and the museums in this moment being so crowded. This is something the tour guide should have fixed by simply changing the channel on the radios. Yours is not the only feedback we have received about this tour guide, and by checking your names in our system we realised you were in the same group. The others also mentioned trouble hearing the guide and their lack of interaction with the group, we are terribly sorry about how this experience went and take full responsibility for what went wrong. Our permanent team of guides is extremely knowledgable about the job, not only regarding the content but also how to manage every situation. To keep our standards up, this guide will not be collaborating with us anymore, and we sent you a partial refund, we charged from you only the tickets for both museums you visited. So sorry about the misfortune you had on your time in Florence, we hope the partial refund will make it up to the stress you went through. Kind regards. Florence & Global Tours team

The 3 adults in our party all agree this 4-hr tour was well worth the investment of time and money. Our guide Margaret is an art history expert and not only showed us the highlights but suggested other places to see in Florence. The group was 9 so not unmanageable, not sure I'd want to be in a much bigger group with all the crowds (even in October!). Very pleased with this experience, thanks Margaret!

A fantastic way to see the main sites of the city of Florence and learn about its art, culture, society and how it evolved to be the city it is today. Our guide, an Art Historian, therefore the breadth and depth of information shared offered something beyond the standard facts and enabled connection between all the different pieces over time. Finding the group was easy, very well coordinated from start to finish. I highly recommend this walking tour. I did the 10.15am but in future would have done the earlier session, it would have meant just a few less people milling about as you try to take photos. This also leaves time to go into eg the baptistery, the museum, have lunch and climb the hill for the sunset, something I didn’t have time for. :(
Also, true to the title, knowing you could just keep going on your tour by skipping the queue was invaluable, we saw long lines of people outside the sites we entered and I really appreciated scooting past them and straight in to see what we were there to see.

Our guide Leticia was fantastic. She was friendly and knowledgeable, and allowed us time to enjoy the art and ask questions. She was easy to understand (English) and knew many interesting tidbits about the artwork and the artists — she has clearly put in her time doing research. Thanks for a great tour, Letty!

The tour size was limited by the museums, 5 or less for Accademia, and 10 for Uffizzi. The Duomo portion was all outdoors, but it was very informative.

Informative, educational and fun at our pace. Cossetta was perfect and brought history to life for our group. We had a 9am start which meant we missed the building crowds and moved through galleries more easily. 4 hours was enough for us and good timing for lunch.

So far this has been the most disappointing tour of our trip. I found our tour guide, Rosa, to be quite pushy, constantly chiding people for not standing in the right place and pushing us in front of other groups. I’ve had other tour guides in Italy who were much more tactful and skilled at managing groups. She also answered 3 phone calls during the tour and asked my partner to carry her bag throughout the Uffizi. More importantly than this, I didn’t find her to be particularly knowledgeable. I think she had a good talk track about the items we saw, but I didn’t learn much more than if I had just read the placard next to the artwork. Additionally, the ear pieces had poor audio and the tour ended at 3:45pm, making it a 3.5 hour tour, not 4 hours as advertised. Not terrible, but not the best.

The guide was amazing and was so informed as to the subject matter content of the sculptures and paintings that we stopped at. We did have to queue however at the second gallery for 25 minutes u til other small groups were let in. We also found the IT used as somewhat poor as the large crowds meant we couldn’t hear clearly what the great guide was speaking of.

My partner and I booked this trip the night before we went. We arrived in Florence and noticed the Uffizi was already sold out in the morning so we looked at an English touring option instead, and I’m so glad we did! We had 8 people in total in our group and our guide was brilliant. She had a wealth of knowledge and I learnt so much about the statue of David, the Medici family and the renaissance artists. We would definitely not have got all this info had we just gone on our own. 100% recommend if you want to get a real insight into the history of Florence.

Overall this was the worst tour I’ve ever taken. The tour guide was not knowledgeable about the subject matter. The walking portion consisted of us waiting in the street until the next skip the line museum entrance time. We had to try help her keep track of the other guests. Babbled on and on about Michelangelo having autism and the Virgin Mary’s breasts. We left the tour early and toured the Uffizi on our own which was a much better experience. I do not recommend this tour.

Hello Stefanie, So sorry to hear that for you the tour was not worth the price. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and we respect that. However, the tour guide assigned to you that day has been highly praised by our travellers ever since we started collaborating together. You are welcome to visit our Viator and TripAdvisor page. We spoke to the guide about the two points you raised, it is an important part of the tour to talk about the character’s personality as she did with Michelangelo. And the comments made on the “Virgin Mary’s breasts” is a detail to notice on the paintings as the figures' anatomy evolve from flat to three dimensional. We had to address this on the reply for our potential customers to understand nothing disrespectful or vulgar is ever mentioned about such an important figure, and it is not repeated again and again throughout the tour. Also, the walking portion is a tour of the main Squares - Duomo and Signoria - until entering the last museum the Uffizi Galleries. We apologise if there was any issue while bringing the group together, it will not happen again. Please note all our staff are licensed and qualified tour guides based in Florence and around Tuscany. Sincerely, Florence & Global Tours
